The genius of this guys performances is his ability to dance like a maniac and never touch, disturb or interact with the other performers!!! It is like that in every video! His mastery of controlled movement in personal space is phenomenal!! If I attempted those moves, every performer up there would be hospitalized and everyone in the front two rows would have some form of injury or close call!

I watched the video to see if he missed any lip sync, but he knows the timing so well, he keeps moving far away from the microphone and is back right on time, he's in total control. He's really good! I wonder if people knew back then that he wasn't singing at all. When I was a kid, I was fooled, and I was impressed by his charisma. I really thought it was his voice, it fit. But I was a kid. Did adults get fooled, too?

You didn’t notice it. He deserves more credit than he gets. @3:03 he almost made a mistake and was getting ready for a beat drop and dance routine for it. He quickly realized they already did that part and they’re in the next verse. He QUICKLY gets back to the mic in time to lypsynch his concluding “daddy daddy cool, daddy daddy cool”. I know this because I’ve been watching them for a long time and I know his dance moves by heart. R.I.P. BOBBY FARRELL Long Live Daddy Cool!

However, as I've said, only Bobby Farrell can do it....
Hats off also for the fact that he never ever accidentally kicked, sucker punch nor collided with any of the 3 ladies during their rehearsal or during live performance..

I have a huge friend of mine who's like this dude, always full of energy and he dosn't need anything for move, maybe one or two glasses.
Always ready to dance, he loves so much moving his body and he never stops because he will never feel tired.
Dance is like going to another world for him, where there's no problems, just fun.
He is always kind and cheerful, even when he's sad, simply a good person.

whats even more amazing is that although there was heavy anti western pop culture censorship in Poland back in the day, Boney M was well accepted and welcomed in Peoples Republic of Poland. They are very cult to this day, so much that radio stations still blast their hits. The catchy tunes, the upbeat and happy nostalgia. This is something that spans across the generational gap and ppl apraise them.

This song is fascinating when you really put your ear to it. The rhythm carries the melody throughout the entire song. Yet it's never repetitive or overbearing. There's a lot going on within the instrumentation as well as the vocal performances in every BONEY M section of the song. No part is exactly the same. Everything in this song just seems to totally click. Great composition and recording. It's a masterpiece of our BLACK music culture.

A sad day for Germany Frank Farian is dead. With 800 million ‼ records sold, he is Europe's biggest music producer of all time. Without him, there would never have been Boney M., No Mercy, La Bouche, Eruption or Milli Vanilli. The true pop titan, sorry Dieter Bohlen 😆 R.I.P. Frank - you were a giant in music history. Thank you for DISCO and great music for the dance floor 🕺
