I have loved watching your house project, even during the bad times with the floor and IKEA. I built my house about 5 years ago and a lot of unexpected problems, set backs, delays. But like you I had good people around me, which helped a lot. I think my time was easier because I didn’t have the additional pressure of finding and changing the rental during the build. Mainly what I wanted to tell you, is that I had a similar reaction when I moved it. It was mostly done, but, I was stretched too far, and just needed to emotionally and physically collapse for about a month. After that though, I recovered had housewarming parties with all my new neighbors and my friends and was able to really celebrate my home. There are always more things to do in the house, but once you recover a little from the stress you’ve been through, start to celebrate. You’ve accomplished so much, learned so much, and made so many strides towards your life on Pico.
Despite the challenges you faced during your renovation, right now your happiness and enthusiasm is shining through! Even though you have some more to do, your personal touches to the house are already showing. Your place is looking great and I'm looking forward to future videos. Really glad you're getting settled into your new home! Oh, since you asked about the slatted frame, the typical word in English is 'box spring' 😊😊😊
Manchmal braucht es einfach Zeit anzukommen, gerade nach so viel Stress und Delay. Mir ging’s auch schon so, dass ich in der Situation war, wo „jetzt eigentlich alles besser ist“, aber dann erstmal nicht alles gut war, weil die Ruhe dann da war, den scheiß von davor zu verarbeiten. ❤
