I don't even own a 3D printer and I want these bundles!! Beautiful job putting these together. I'm really interested in getting into 3D printing for stuff like this, and I know SLA is where the best detail is at, but I don't have a dedicated space to contain the mess and hazmat that goes along with it.
Though i don't play arkham horror this is still must buy for my horror dnd game, the minis look incredible and i can't wait to purchase these terrifying bundles
These miniatures are absolutely amazing! As a huge fan of AH LCG these may be the reason for me to pull the trigger on a 3D printer. Keep up the amazing work you are doing!
Damn!! Il done. So classe. @LootStudios Do you plan to release others packs? There's a lot of investigators to release 😅 I play arkham horror Lcg and a Big fan of Mythos so, could ne cool to cover all of it!
I've managed to avoid diving into 3D printing so far, but that may change with this line. Some of these models are much larger than your typical miniature. What printer would you recommend with a large enough printing area to support all of these models easily for someone new to 3D printing?
Depends on your budget. Elegoo Saturn is a fairly solid starter printer if you want a larger print bed. Be aware that it's a tough hobby to break into. But there's a lot of guides online to get you started and familiar with slicing, printing and caring for your printer. Expect some failures as you figure out what settings work best for your printer. Watch a lot of starter guides to get familiar with everything. When it all starts coming together, it's amazing. You're literally printing toys. And if you like miniatures, the initial investment is trivial. It won't be long before you've saved a lot of money printing your own minis
@@IamKnucks Thanks. That's one of about 3 I've been looking at since the reveal. Though it is hard to gauge exactly how big of a bed I need without knowing how the models are broken up in terms of parts.
I am also interested if these can be printed (with fairly good quality for tabletop gaming) on an FDM printer or they do require a resin one. I am considering buying a 3D printer to print these but having no garage, the toxicity associated with resin printing scares me away.
The statues are normally sliced for resin only, but a little bit of work on our own makes them print fine as FDM :D Generally Loot makes FDM versions of the life size props in their bundles. (Necronomicon does have an FDM version for example)
I hope i have the cash to get this bundle. Im just wanting their other one to wrap up. Everything is better in 3's First humans, then dwarves, then maybe Elves?
Take all my money! Loot has been amazing with some of the absolute best sculpts. They never just phone it in and the love and attention shows in every model.
Definitely getting all 3. Is there any plans to make more content after these 3? That being said, hopefully not within 6 months. Because I might only be starting the 3rd bundle in terms of playing lol
I think I heard somewhere in an interview that Edge studios are going to put out 3 products a year, so I’m guessing this is a sneak preview of those upcoming campaigns. There’s so many more investigators and creatures, so I really hope more is to come.
For those with experience printing these large scale models by Loot... are they broken down into smaller pieces so that people with average print 6-7inch LCD resin printers can print them? Or are you restricted to only being able to print these models at that scale with a 12inch print area?
Loot characters medium and small models, as well as terrains are designed to fit small printers like Elegoo Mars, large models, statues, and props are designed to fit large printers such as Saturn.
I just watched the whole video, i wanted to ask the guys at loot studios, would you guys cover the remaining ones? cause this would be an inventment i would like tomake only if that"last bit of the video actually was a >YES WE WOULD MAKE MORE" cause having an incomplete set , kinda...sucks :/, plus i understand the effort, it's not a task you do on montay and it's done but for the fans of the series it would be an welcome, yes we will make as the stay tune bit from 41:30 speculated :) . Overall good job and thank you for your hard work
Really on the fence for this one. The minis look great but I just can't get behind the scale. If these were 32mm like virtually everything else on the market I would be all in but unless I can easily scale them down this is going to have to be a pass for me.
I use the normal loot minis for infinity or freebooters Fate which are in 28mm and 30mm. I just scale them down in lychee slicer, so they fit perfectly! I guess you can do that with those too.
Sigh. I wish ffg just made a line of miniatures I could just buy instead of having to do all the work myself. Also I feel like $100 for your files is very expensive. I’m sure a lot of effort was put into them. How about allowing ppl to pick and choose individual files for like .25cents ea?
@@TorchOnTarget op is right though, their other bundle videos are 2 minutes long. 40 mins is a huge time sink to show 3 bundles, and there aren't any photos of what you'd get. What a waste of time trying to pitch this.

Do the minis' bases fit the 1inch squares of the maps that come with the Arkham RPG?
Yes! Except for some Large and Huge monsters, most miniatures have a 1 inch wide base 😉
The computer generated caption for The King in Yellow is hilarious. Even the computer knows not to say their name...
I know, right? Is anyone else like "Stop saying that name"? :D
