    Heard you talk about this on the podcast, definitely looks like a solid bench.

    Vic is one tough customer. Rockin’ the shorts in Canadian winter. No doubt it was -25C or below outside too, eh? Great build video!

    My UJK just came in today, looking forward to trying this build. Would you feel comfortable chopping mortises over the leg?

    Looks like a very sturdy bench, with many uses. Nice work Vic.

    Thanks for posting this! I have been ordering from Axminster for a few years from the USA and they are great! I
    Have been interested in this setup and think this is great alternative to the MFT.

    Nice build video :) The process with the router on rails was neat. Are the proud half-laps on the stretchers designed to line up with the apron for clamping extra long boards vertically?

    Cool to see this after you mentioned it on the FWW podcast. The dimensioned pieces at 1 minute - did you process them using the track saw or a table saw? Interested to know about that part of your process too as I’m a track saw user getting into rough-sawn boards

      I typically use my bandsaw and combo machine to mill rough lumber.

    Vic, this video is amazing! Thanks for posting it. I have 2 shopmade benches: one roubo for chopping and planing, the other a Paulk style for power tools and assembly. Do you think I could replace them both with 1 or 2 of these?

    • @VicTesolinWoodworks
      @VicTesolinWoodworks  Год назад +1

      I use mine to plane and to chop dovetail waste. I don’t mortise by hand so it doesn’t need the same dead weight. I’m happy with mine for the work I do.
