Peter congratulations on the beautiful work! It really is a very well developed tool, and very well built, perfect machining, top quality finishing, you are a great professional, admirable.
Thank you I was thinking of getting one & you answered my questions in the video. Also I like that you can. have a few stops at the same time & just flip them out of the way
Thanks for the video. I think for small pieces like you cut at the end I would move the fence closer, perhaps on the middle row of holes you have, to save reaching so far over the bench.
Hi Stephen, I agree but for one quick shot on the video and wanting to keep the kit close to the camera I decided to reach over a little more. Cheers. Peter

Great review video Peter perfect addition to an mft table or used as a fence and stop for a mitre saw etc too. Tommy
Hi Peter. I have watched this video along with the videos you have on the 600mm and 1000mm Parf System Fences. I am trying to decide which to buy - or both - and I'd love to hear your thoughts about this subject. I can certainly see use cases for both. Though I have noted in your recent videos you primarily use the fence referenced in this video. Do you have any advice? Also, longer term it would be great to see a video on how you use both whether independently or together in the same workflow. Happy New Year and best wishes for a successful 2024. I look forward to your response!
Hi Brian, I will try and cover your points in a video in the very near future. In essence, the 1000 mm is (for me) perfect for the tracksaw cutting station and I would choose the shorter version for the Kapex. All the best to you and your family for 2024. Cheers. Peter
Hi John, It is very solid and I am going to set one up for my mitre saw. I have had the delight of sampling the new Guinness alcohol free but it is no longer in the shops - do you know why? Cheers. Peter
As I have said before, "When you are over the 'pond' you say, 'Absolutely Brilliant'!". And of course; "our" Peter Parfitt fits that like a glove. Thank you kind Sir. Yet another gem. Wow! Does it ever stop? LOL. Oh Heaven's NO!...
I use the Makita corded track saw with this. As the motor housing on this saw sticks out (more than the Festool it would seem), it would hit the fence when it was placed up against the rail. Thus I had to leave a greater distance between the end of the fence and the track. So worth checking before you stick down the tape measure.
Not sure how I missed this product announcement... but I am glad to see it now. As always, I will be buying one very soon. Thanks Peter... you've done it again, where's my wallet?
Very nice, I have to think about this. I might rebuild my work table with your layout. I now have entire surface (4’x8’) full of holes and I don’t need them all. 🤠🇫🇮
I have recently reorganised my workshop and having the tracksaw cutting station central like this is a great improvement. You can always sell those extra holes on ebay !! Cheers. Peter
Hi Peter, that's amazing. I recently purchased your design UJK parf guide system and hope to start making my own MFT soon. I plan on being able to drop my mitre saw into the bench so the table of the saw is flush with the table of the mft. If I purchased two of these could I use then on either side of the saw? If so is there a right hand side version of the tape. Cheers
Haven't checked the specs on the dogs, but there's a few thoughts coming to mind: I would like to see a crank/lever or star-knob instead of the discs for fixing the dogs that hold the fence, seeing that you reach underneath and have to try to get a proper grip. Other thing is if the dogs and the fixing mechanism are limited in thickness of the benchtop. Other than that, nice new addition to the product portfolio.
Can this new fence be used in conjunction with the smaller Parf 600mm or 1000mm fence on the cut/waste side....or are the offsets from the doog positions different? So you have to use the screw on large discs on the dogs as shown in video. ...Can you buy a shorter fence of this style for cut/waste side for full support.....if the above will not work?
I can't seem to find this product on the TSO site. Benchdogs has a similar setup, but I worry their dogs may fit too loosely. You want a fence to be solid... particularly a tall fence.
If TSO do not have it then go to the Axminster site, choose $US as your currency and the basket will show shipping costs - many people have been surprised by the competitive pricing and the speed of delivery. Peter
Hi Peter you know how you said when you drill uk parf dog.you said the parf drill bill falls on the concrete fall.and damages that nice drill bit.i thought about building a tray under neath MFT table small tray.
Peter, I have to query as to why you wouldn't butt the guide rail up against the end of the fence, when the guide rail is secured with the UJK guide rail dogs and clips there is almost no chance of any guide rail movement. I would suggest that with the fence back from the guide rail there would be potential for movement. Yes, some other brands of guide rail saws may require the fence to be spaced from the fence, but certainly not the Festool system. Nice video of my last new product for Axminster before retirement though, thanks!
Hi Keith, I am worried that in order for me (as I am using the rail clips) to remove my rail easily I have to tilt it against the long axis by about 45 degrees. If the rail and fence were in contact then the rail would scrape against the fence. Peter
Hi Peter Another great product. Unfortunately, I have not been able to find any supplier in the USA that Carries the old low profile fence with the stop or this new fence including TSOproduct company which I used before to buy all my UJK products. Do you know any supplier in the USA that sell these fences with stops. I am very much interested in buying both fences. Please review and let me know. Thank you AJ
Hi Peter. I have purchased the 1000mm System Fence and am considering purchasing the Fence and Length Stop. When both are installed in their dog holes, would the Fence and Length Stop and the System Fence provide a straight edge to cut against ?
The System Fence sits back about 12.5 mm from the front of the front of the Fence and Length Stop. There had been consideration of making the two compatible but the latter could not be made any narrower and the System Fence would have to be made very wide indeed. Peter
Hi Peter, do you only use plunge saw and rail to cut or do you also have a saw bench? I'm sending you my deepest condolences. I'm really sorry for your loss, your majesty, Queen Elizabeth II.
Thank you so much for your support following the sad news about Queen Elizabeth. Yes, I use the tracksaw cutting station for all sheet material cutting. It is really accurate as it was made with the Parf Guide System from Axminster. Cheers. Peter
I am unable to answer that as I do not have that machine having only borrowed one for a demo video a while ago. If it does not clear the fence it is easy to sort out by sliding the fence away a dash or putting in a pair of offset holes for the tall dogs. Peter
Peter I asked for Axminster to let me know when this UJK Fence and Length Stop were back in stock. They just sent me an email that they are in stock again. When I tried to order it I got a pop up window that said they could not ship the item to the US? Do you know why?
Hi David, I do not know why and can only ask you to contact them for more information. There is a chance that it a US import issue rather than a UK export issue. Peter
Why wouldn't you just use the the Guide rail and fence in position and cut it. IE (Put the strip they gave you at zero and run it down to the table along the fence. Then just clip it at where it meets the fence.
Mine is being delivered tomorrow. Can't wait!!! Thanks, Peter!

Hi Randall, Never - there is absolutely no need. Peter
