- In May 2015 we recorded a lovely Session with the norwegian singer Aurora Aksnes. This is her song "Runaway" just before her concert at "Way Back When Festival" in Dortmund.

When she performs in an acoustic set like this, she still brings the song to life. She like lives in it. It’s unbelievable. It keeps u watching and it becomes more the song and about the message and emotional connection.

i love Runaway, it's so beautiful and special to me. no matter how many times I listen to this song, it never gets boring.
She actually sings, amazingly. But she's not getting the attention she should. Not even the top ten. Sad thing for the world not listening to this.

Just heard of Aurora a month ago. Been listening to everything I can find since. The acoustic performances really show how extraordinary she is. Never seems to sing a song exactly the same way twice. And Odd Martin ...... his harmony vocals and guitar playing are perfect.
My request for a musical genie would be every acoustic performance by Aurora and Odd Martin packaged together on CD.

Good God her voice is beautiful. I could honestly sit and listen to her sing for forever.
This is easily my favorite version of this song because of the raw emotion she display. Wonderfully executed vocals and guitar was on point best acoustic version at least in my opinion. Overall this is so beautiful.
