      Aurora will tour in the US sometimes in Oct/Nov/Dec 2024, it is not officially announced yet exactly when (but she will be in Brazil in Nov 2024, it was leaked by a journalist).

    I'm so in love with her magical brain. Her writing feels like great mythology and epic tales of adventure. She looks like this ethereal little forest fairy and then she opens her mouth and almost sounds like one until the lyrics hit you and you realize she is letting you in on something primal and dark and I dont even know. What a cool human being she is.

    When I was in her age (and younger) everyone told me all the time I were so different and weird and should correct myself.I felt so ashamed to be different, to be me. I wished so bad to be like the people around me, normal and not in my way. When I see her I been so proud she have a chance to express her personality.
    I hope she stay how she is and don´t fight against it. Because of that, I destroyed so much in myself, lost my creative side, suffer on anxiety and have a low self-esteem.

      It's called "the moment" ... we've all been there, probably more than once... but a few, very special, very blessed, creatures get to live there.
      ... Aurora is just such a rare and elusive creature. A heart bigger than her skin... living in a moment bigger than her life... a soul that not only lights up a room, but which explodes like a sun into every crack and corner.
      She truly is the very best of us.

      Such an interesting and deep comment!
      This is one of those things that many people feel but lies undiscovered until someone doesn't light it up...sometimes even thinking he's the only one to feel such a thing, and that what he is going to say won't make all that sense for the others. Instead what a beautiful surprise it is, when this moment comes and what once was something untold appears to be so true among people all over the world.
      By the way, I personally think there is something hypnotic in Aurora's eyes and movements...I can't help but think she has a special charm. She makes you feel uncomfortable and incredibly comfortable at the same time. I wonder what would happen listening to her live, alone in a small room.

    • @alvarezblanco
      @alvarezblanco 6 лет назад +6

      @Sean Gold I think your barbershop quartet reference is the best to explain what harmonizing is, but your terms are a bit off. I'm sure you meant that they hit the different notes of a chord. The voices mesh really nice because we perceive it as just being one chord and not many notes.

    • @centuriomacro9787
      @centuriomacro9787 6 лет назад +4

      from my amateur understanding, harmonies have to do with the interval or the distance between two or more notes. There are several intervals (for example from the 1st to the 3rd note, or from the 1st to the 5th note of a scale) which sound naturally great to the human ear, on every scale. If you combine those 1st, 3rd and 5th note you have a ordinary triad, or in general a chord or even more general a harmony. By definition you can combine any notes together and call them a harmony, but I think the avg listener is more focused on how well the harmony sounds. Hope it was helpful, I´m more used to the german technical terms.

    The choice of the songs here is brilliant. Runaway represents loss, wanting to get away, escape from just everything and not knowing what to do, basically, confusion and sadness, and then there is Murder song, which obviously represents the moment of Impact, the moment that changes everything in your life without you even noticing, a moment of extreme struggle and realising the things we love aren't always the best for us, and then there is Running With The wolves which means in my opinion, healing, and realising that loving yourself is the only key there is to be saved, it represents getting over whatever hurt you and becoming a braver, stronger and much better person. I'm just, I'll leave you the words.

      +Yves V I'm norwegian and have read and seen all her interviews. Example. a radio interview with RTHK-radio 3 in Hong Kong she said that Runaway was written when she was 11 All her songs except 'Little Boy in the grass' (15) 'Puppet'(16) ,'Conqueror' and 'Running with the wolves' (18) were written between 9-14 yr. Aurora said that in her album release March -16 you'll find songs written between 9-18 yr.

    I love her so much. You can just see how she's immediately transported into her own world when she starts singing and moving her hands and dancing. And she's so awkward (in a charming way) in between songs. I love her because she's me. I just feel her in my soul. She's got the confidence that I don't quite yet have but she inspires me. I'm reconnecting to myself and my art because she's so incredible

    In my humble opinion, she is one of the most prolific female voices of this generation. There are some voices that generate pure magic, pure bliss and is such a great feeling to be able to listen to. Thank the above I was born with the ability to hear - although I can imagine this can be felt through all facets, audio or no.

      In October I manage to attend to her concert in Paris, at Les Etoiles… small place, two meters near her, and near her great Band. She uses a very special reverb to define her voice… superb… I can't imagine how it was at Gudvangen. Glorious probably! At the end of the concert I approached her… she embraced me while I was happily near to cry… One hour of deep, deep happiness, fridge… even if she calls her songs… dark pop. I would better call them Gospel Pop!

This shows how truly special she is as an artist. While I love everything of hers I have listened to, this is special as the audience has a direct line to her wonderful ability to draw everyone in to her world.
