Bigga doesn’t say a lot but when he does speak, it’s always deep and profound. I love how he just observes and listens and then just drops gem after gem. ❤
Good comment.
Here’s the thing about growing up in NY especially in the 70’s-80’s: If you was there you more than likely grew up with a future celebrity. Bimmy grew up with Mark Jackson, LL Cool J and others. Fat Joe grew up in the same projects with KoKo from SWV. Marlon Wayans and Omar Epps became best friends in high school. Malik Yoba and Dame Dash grew together in the same apartment building. There are way more examples but that’s just a few.
You're absolutely right I went to school with Christopher Williams and met people in the industry through my music teacher who performed/ worked with Luther Vandross, Tom Brown, and Unlimited Touch just to name a few... those wer amazing times.
@@lesliebryan9401 "this ain't Christopher Williams"
@@alanbrown3172 I never said that he was I said I went to school with Christopher Williams in response to something some posted in the comments
@@lesliebryan9401 he’s not writing about what you said, he quoted a biggie line cause big said that. I know cause I immediately thought the same lol
Yup like cam and mase growing up best friends or biggie smalls and busta being high school friends even rza being cousins with flava flav from public enemy no lie 😂😂😂😂😂🙌🏾🙌🏾🙌🏾🙌🏾🙌🏾
🔥 Bigga is something special, balances the show perfectly
Man of few words ...when he speaks it means something
Word
He's a righteous sounding brother but he's just a Christian. Half the shit he say has no room on the platform...politics and religion can gtfoh
Jimmy snitching is public records
Who's jimmy ? You mean bimmy ?
Bigga a real dude fa real. Shot out to Bim
💯
No ppl realier then God's ppl. GENUINE God's ppl, don't get it twisted, many be cappn
@@KSSBG for real. Bigga is a king 👑 amongst Men. He's a spiritual angel on the low.
This interview has everything from A to Z. They talked Hip Hop, Street Life, Being a black man in America…..etc. These interviews are not just becoming apart of Hip Hop culture, but it’s also becoming a must watch for young men. The value of this show is incredible. S/o to Bim for sharing his story, and to the #MEO Team for classic content!
I love the part where Bimmy talked about his father and medium 😔
@@jojosaylor8996 Yeah that was real talk.
Word up ❤
Bimmy might be the funniest real nigga ever. 🤣. I’ma need a whole new interview with him after this. I could listen to his stories all day.
I can listen to Bimmy tell stories forever lol. Didn’t know who homey was until seeing this interview. Dope interview Math 🧮
By far the best interview I’ve seen on here , quite possibly because this was my era . I’m white but I was connected with many from their era because I built high line specialized vehicles for everyone from entertainment , sports industry , to every level of the streets clientele . All good people that some took a bad turn . It’s refreshing to see someone sit up there and tell the stories that most people try to hide when they make it out of the trenches . Nyc is a big city but there’s only a small amount of top of the food chain dudes out there and they all know each other . It’s crazy . Bimmy made it out cause he remained solid at every level of his life . Keep it up Sir . Math and the fellas you guys are killing it . May the new year coming up be even better .
what white gotta do w it?
you ain't gotta say that bro it sound like you tryna validate yourself. fuck that if you valid you valid. white people get down just the same, shit all the "gangsta" shit come from the Italians who are considered white now but they werent considered white in america until they got some money. it's all the same bro, you feel me?
Great comment and greetings from the UK 🇬🇧. Well broken down.
Bimmy got unlimited fire stories! Salute
Right need a part 3 already
I feel this is timeless. A moment that we rarely get to see and hear. That is a generational respect where everyone can actually hear each other. If the truth is 360 degrees of perspective, Math and the crew have it covered. Respect to all the strong brown men who have the desire to really absorb and overstand each perspective. Though we each have a filter, here everyone is respectful enough to actively listen and express their own commentary on the situation. No coincidence the setting is a barber shop; one of the last vestiges of what you could call a tribal campfire. Everyone can be heard and can feel free to really say what they mean. This is indeed a blessing and though we have the same chaos in life as any other point in our-story, here it is the timing. Math, I don't see a limit to how this can really bring us together and enlighten those willing to give and take. Blessed to be here in this time. Respect to all you kings watching and speaking your truths. About time we dissolved the borders between us. The community needs more of this. 🤲🏾
Same Way I Receive The Way These Episodes Go; MATH Has A Bright Future To Be Able To Bring Knowledge To The Youth, Etc!!!
“We know Jimmy 🙄” …..😭 Esso’s face
Salute to Hoffa! This was an amazing interview. I used hear about Bimmy on the west coast and never seen him. His family is legendary. This interview is why I subscribed. Can we get an interview with ya man knowledge?
This my favorite episode so far! Shout out to Bimmy n Soul B(OG of the OGs)!
Just finished pt 1 Bimmy is hilarious
Ngl Math you got a top 3 podcast I put this over budden podcast this nothing but realness I feel it when I watch it (pause) shout out Bigga the world need more dudes like him 🫡
One of the realest episodes I've seen most inspiring....
I would have to say to date....👌🏾💪🏽💯🦁
We have went from being in the streets to the penitentiary to on top of the mountain from full families to have families to Broken homes we've touched bases on masculinity and homosexuality everything that real man a face with on a daily basis I'm blown away by the conversations you guys are having at this point in time this is powerful....
Best interview... thoughtful, pointed, equal, substantive dialogue.
Bigga is enjoying himself to the utmost in this episode. Respect
When Bigga speaks we Listen!!!!
Been hearing Bimmy name since Slick Rick said it yrs ago never knew what he looked like it what he did in the culture exactly and some of these others Who've been involved with the culture Thank U for interviews like this
Red pants got a true PhD in Hip Hop. He needs a platform.
Are they interviewing Bimmy or the dude with the orange sweats. Let Bimmy talk.
This has been my favorite episode so far and seems to truly embody what this podcast means to the culture. Keep up the great work.
wow this leaves me speechless from the depth and range of this content....i dont know if i should salute , clap or tip my hat ! (btw here from detroit we have 2 sides west and east pretty much....the internal jabs at the other boroughs is an interesting dynamic that lends to authenticity and camaraderie !
This the most I have ever heard Bigga talk. This interview triggered something in him . Dope interview
this man said "who gon stop this fight?"
LMAO. Bimmy is fucking hilarious!
Bonny saying that about jimmy henchman "playing both sides" and the police passing secs later.... 😭😂😂😂😂
I love how y'all shine light and pay respects to the old school/pioneers/foundational folks of hip-hop. Much respect.
"Imagin that beach is paradise"......Math "You mean like LL" lmaoooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo
That "pause" story is HILARIOUS
I like the segment about where hip hop was started
Good convo
Bigga is missing the fact that hip hop isn’t just a vocal art form. The dancers and DJs have an equal stake in the formation of hip hop
You can't remove Latin people from the origins of hip hop.
Unless you lie to yourself until you believe it
not totally related but after watching the symba interview I had a thought, I wanna know what you think about this.
it was the deejay first right, deejay & dancers, then the deejay & the emcee, then the emcee in front of the deejay, then it became the rapper & producer,
are we getting to a point now where maybe the rapper wont be the main focus, might it be the podcaster/personality in front?
just a interesting thought
Hip Hop and MCs are not the same as rappers and rap
Can't believe dude said "my man, Jimmy Henchmen".
Bimmy is official 💯💯
When Soul B said yall got my salami on the market!! 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂ayyooooooooooooo
These early episodes getting me through work on this Friday frfr 🤝🏾
As I watch this Episode, Seeing Bimny 💯 ❤️ Wow!! It's bring back so many memories. I lived on 158st/111 Ave Bwt Linden.
From 1980-1989. I also no The Johnsons! Pete, Justice ( mole on his nose) My 1st job was in Rib Shack! Actually I'm Lou Baby Mom, From 40 projects. Rip Lou Aka Barney Rubbell 🙏 I seen it all. It's was crazy back them days. All crews got along! Gave the best parties!! #FACTS Bimny is really good dude,I so happy you made good for yourself. HE REAL ONE! HE GOOD PEOPLE! NICE GUY HE DONT REMEMBER ME! I'm also remember Boo Boo 😊

To play "MAMA I WANT TO SING' Across the street from 134 Ave.
Lou lived in 40 projects, Next door to Grandmasta Vic.. #BLENDMASTER #SOUTHSIDE #160AVE #109 AVE BIG SHOUT OUT #RISING2THETOP. Im a Queen from Queens!! ❤️ I love this show Math! 💯
I like to think about that last moment like a trailer/movie, and then from 50-100’ away it’s just light, like a star shining back at you magnified onto a screen through space and time ..
Lol everybody dying laughing and bigga just there like 🗿
Love these last three or four episodes, this one was dope because I've heard of BImmy and the Supreme team but never the real-life stories and how he flipped his life around
If you grew up in The Bronx you would definitely realize that Puerto Ricans were down with Hip Hop! I'm a 57 year old Black man that was there. They referred to themselves as Puerto Ricans or Puerto Rocks! This is from a Bronx representative.
It sounds like Flowers was 1st Generation. But sound like he was based in the discos. Then the next generation who were younger added on Uptown with the resources they had from Harlem to South Bronx to North East Bronx
Yo Hoff one of the realest episodes that truly shows how profound and real this podcast be
Give Bigga a one on one interview with one of these hood legends that made it out.
Hoff showing out great content.
I’m like Mecca, been square business my whole life. I had my pops in my life who was not about to let me get into any trouble. If my pops wasn’t in my life I’d definitely would of been wildin’
White castle story is hilarious. Respect the honesty.
I love what Bigga brings to convos, I get him every time! I'm from the DIRTY SOUTH, The entire HISPANIC CULTURE down here DOES NOT refers to themselves as BLACK, & you better not either, period!
Not even comparable. NY Hispanic culture is really just Caribbean culture. They aren’t talking about Mexicans and South Americans at all. Two very different people
💯💯💯
I agree a 100% with Math it starts in the home, these people knew what they were doing when the broke up the black family structure by removing the black man from the house hold.
Feel like i been waiting a month for this math lol keep up the good work my guy
35:44
Sean Bigga!!!!......man of god!!!!!
#secureyaspot 💯💪🏿
@1:48 .. it got silent during Confidential Informant conversation .. Bimmy got thrown off. 😂
Big Bro Soul B Always Ceases The Opportunity 💯 Grab That Light Homie
When Math Hoffa plays devil's advocate, it sometimes bugs me but when he said "the world LOVES a survivor" that was real and poignant. When we have these conversations about what leads black and brown youth to choose street life versus flying straight and taking the right career paths, we often forget what the people see and what the people value in the individual, i think that's what Math was touching on in a sense. I've watched many episodes of MEO by now and the Bimmy one might be top 3. Much love to the whole cast and crew, everyone did their thing and HipHop wins again.
One of the best illest realest.must have conversations to have amongst the bros🤜🏽✊🏽🤜🏽
Thank you Math🤘🏾 this was my favorite by far.
🤘🏾Hoffa Gang 🤘🏾
1:14 has me so weak
Best ep I watched by far
This podcast is 💯 mad respect it's nice here this I'm 50 I remember all this
The first level of survival requires basic needs to be met before all else can be learned. There is a reason that there is an attack currently on free breakfast and lunch to keep the mentality focused on surviving vs. learning and adapting. How many of the crew talking didn't have food and stability?
Bro started speaking about henchmen the whole vroom was like naw I can’t co-sign it 50 solid this and that
This was a great episode 👏🏽
Lie after lie this interview was comical lol math face was epic after each lie he told 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
What lies??
@@worldnewz6963 he don’t know he just here to type.
Waka was only poppin because of how hot Gucci was though...if it wasn't for the Gucci association we would've never knew flocka in the south. Once Gucci and Wocka fell out...Wacka almost instantly became irrelevant to mainstream.
Wait!!! Bigga ain’t 55 years old?
Fck that you shot me 9 times all that BS! Goes out the window! I like to see him tell 50th that shit. 😂
I grew up w/out a father and in the hood around killers and dealers, i CHOSE to go the other way while my bro sold dope. I MADE different choices because i knew and let me also add, i was the younger brother so save the “no father figure or hood influences” please.
Salute brother on making the right choices without your father. Agreed not growing up with a father automatic means you will fall victim to the streets. But having a father around may of been what your older brother needed to stop him.
So good hearing these brother talk. Big up
Salute South Jamaica Queens Stand up .Lot of knowledge Dropping
1:11:51 he was speaking straight facts and shout out @princeofthecitytricky from London UK he has spoken about the same issue plenty of times. one day you should definitely get him on the panel. Another legendary episode big up my expert opinion every time
LOVE YOU BIGGA!!! STAY RIGHTEOUS!!!!
🤣🤣🤣🤣 This my man therapy Group. Respect.
The gifted pride book threw the ppl off 🤣🤣🤣
Now this is a grown man conversation...respect to Bigga and Ole boy. I don't know him. Is this Yaka uncle?
#1 episode of 2022🏆🏆🏆🏆🏅🏅🏅🏅
Math making history
Definitely a great episode 💯 #HoffaGang 💪
Dam all this time I'm thinking bigga was like dam near 60 year's old 😂😂😂😂 didn't know he was only 45
This was a great interview from beginning to end.
At around 50 minutes I think that all the guys agreed about New York's presence as the birth of Hip Hop. They all from different Borough's. But that great city started something so special and everlasting to this day? Incredible. Literally something from next to nothing. Watching footage of conditions in New York during the 70's it's unbelievably unlikely that anything great could ever grow from these ashes. Worldwide now. Bronx or Brooklyn, Queens, Harlem. Staten Island or Jersey, Phili, DC , The South, wherever. Black, Latino, White or whoever. All played they part. Respectfully to all.
The salami segment was hilarious.
Epic, didn’t know man MATH is off to the races.
Club Sparkles Hempstead Ave & Springfield, ironically I flipped my J30 leaving from there, Tuesday after The Proper. IYKYK...
I'M NOT A NERD LOL 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
BIMMY ANTNEY 💛
I’m late but I’m here 💪🏾💪🏾♥️♥️ Love yall
I want to sit in the shop and watch this show
A short black his-story lesson here (hip hop) big up this podcast
Ill say this Latinos didnt create Hip Hop they contributed, From what the OG say they were Anti Black, Back then which a lot are now. A few of them Participated.
As Far as Caribbean's Creating Hip Hop , You can trace the art form all the way to 20s 30s 40s JAzz, Scatt, Rag time... etc
James Brown, Disco, Funk were a Major Part of the formation which was Black American
Math, I have a request, Please bring Grandmasta Vic to your Platform. HE DESERVE HIS FLOWERS, QUEENS IS GRANDMASTA VIC...
Please that would excellent show!! Everytime Queens is your house, His name is mention. He worthy of your platform. Please consider 🙏 ❤️ 💯 He will talk to you. No question!!
While they were in the tub with a rub they were blowing bubbles out of tellie tubbles troubles and I was beating hell out of royal rumbles while I'm humble
I learned some new information in this and how industries work and what not!!
Man these ads come at the wrong time😡
Nah Bigga and them was weak at calling Mecca a nerd 😂 that’s the type of laugh you do when you lowkey be thinking the same thing 1:14:10
I just realized who that mustle bound ninja I'm the background was spitting knowledge 🤣..shout out #10 Toes.Salute to the show for bringing the real out of everybody
THE REALEST CONVERSATION EVER!! I LOVE THIS NIGGA BIMMY NO HOMO LOL SALUTE THE GOD! I AM A FAN!
Jimmy Lee was not an original B Boy. The original B Boys are close to 70 years old now. I was 9 years old in 1974 when I first saw these guys doing moves that soon resulted in them rocking on the floor. The guys that I saw were in their middle to late teens. Does this guy even know the names of the Herculords? I didn't see any Puerto Ricans in the cipher at the time. There were Puerto Ricans that lived in 1520 and 1600 Sedgewick Ave. They were at the parties just like everyone else but they were not DJ's or MC's or Breaking at the time. Fat Joe is misinformed. These people are making comments about the origination based on what they have heard and not what they have seen with their own eyes at the time.
Please Note! Bigger is there for security, he doesn't have to talk! So we should be greatful when he does! 🍰
Latinos was around hip hop when it started because they were in the ghetto however they did not create hip hop, they were just around and participated in the things black americans already created
🟪 🟨 was like☹️the whole episode
