Thank you so much for sharing your journey. I’m going for my first peel in 2 weeks and couldn’t be more excited. BTW, you are absolutely beautiful both inside and out. Your personality is captivating!!
Staci Johnson WOW. This comment put the biggest smile on my face. I’m so glad it helped you - I wanted to keep the vlog as authentic as possible. Good luck! Let me know what you think.
Thanks for sharing. I’ve watched all 3 videos. I’m getting my first V I Peel in a couple of days so I’m watching RUclips videos to get different takes on experiences. I’m looking forward to it and after watching your 3 part video It has put me more at ease. I’ll check out your 2nd Peel video also.
Kelly W oh good! Glad to hear. It took about 10 days before I thought it was worth the money. The hardest part is waiting on the results, weeks later I was still noticing improvements. You will love it. It changed my skin. Just stay out of the sun & don’t sweat those 1st 4-5 days.
I'm on day 3 (but not yet 48 hours) I had it done Sunday evening. I just started peeling today. I'm glad you mentioned 'It took about 10 days before you thought it was worth the money' because as of right now, I still have the feeling of a sunburn: reddish spots, tight, dry and irritated feeling skin. I know it's much too early to tell and pretty much every video I've watched, each woman loved the final outcome. But the in-between part (healing) is a drag, it's such a slow process. I'm off work all week so at least that part is a plus. I'll come back and leave an update when I notice some positive changes :)
Kelly W you will! Make sure you take plenty of before and after photos because sometimes it’s tough to see just how big the change is. Hang in there, it’s a SLOW process but worth it.
Thank you for the daily log of your vi peel experience. It helped me while I was going through the process (I also peeled for a second time around the chin and forehead area). I have subscribed and look forward to watching your future videos.
Debla oh good! Glad it helped. Yes, the 2nd round of peeling worried me at first. I've since had a 2nd Vi Peel & my husband had one. I'm very happy with the results but even the 2nd time around I still worried. Ha! Have you done more than one?
I only had one Vi Peel. I am really happy with the results and will definitely do it again....but I am waiting until the weather in Texas drops below 100. I did not go outside very much during the peel, but when I did it was pretty brutal. BTW: great review on Blue Apron. Im really glad I found your channel.
Debla agree! I would like to do one more around Thanksgiving when I have some time off. I love trying new things to improve my skin so more of those videos to come! Glad you enjoyed Blue Apron and thank you for subscribing.
Hi JamJam Ng, I live in Austin and I got my Vi Peel at Laurel Corrinne Studio. I used to see Dr Sam Lam when I lived in Dallas, but I don't believe his office offers peels (only laser treatments). There used to be a medical spa affiliated with his surgical suite. I highly recommend his office for any more invasive procedures (laser, botox, filler etc). I have not had cosmetic surgery, but I would go to him if I decided to do anything. I hope this helped, and please let me know if you have any other questions. :)
Sorry! I thought you were talking about the hair salon and just realized you were referring to the Vi Peel, I just did my second one and plan to release a short video on it later this summer. Thanks!
Thank you thank you thank you..I've done a couple superficial peels and a couple microneedling sessions over the past few months with some really good results but on July 10th I will be doing my 1st VI Precision Plus peel. I say 1st because I know ill want MORE. Your 3 part video was amazing 🎉. You took me through an indepth look at exactly what I wanted to know needed to know and what to expect. You look beautiful and your skin without a doubt definitely looks brighter smoother and healthy.. Thank you again.
My husband recently had his 1st Vi Peel and he broke out in a rash and today is day 9 for him and it's still itchy and red looking so everyone is different. All of that fresh skin is still super raw. I used Aquaphor (buy it at drugstore or Target) starting day 5 to help with irritation - I may have forgotten to mention that - it's basically a petroleum jelly with healing properties. I was still peeling on my neck until day 8 and I wouldn't be surprised if it still looked irritated at day 9 or 10 but beyond that I would contact the person who applied the peel. Keep me posted! And hang in there, it took up to 4 weeks before I woke up one morning and was like, oh! There are the results are was hoping for.
I get mine next week. Will it help with acne scarring at All? I have laser resurfacing to follow but I am curious to know if the vi peel helps. Thanks!
Yes, it does help with acne scarring quite a bit. I felt like I was still seeing improvements up to 4 weeks after the initial peel so give it time and be sure to take before and after pictures throughout the process that really helps you to see the results. The peel did not improve the scars I have from moles that were removed. I was told I would need micro-needling for those to look better. Good luck! You will love it.
Thank you for all the info. I am 82 and made an appointment for Sept. 11. Do you think it will be worth the time and money. People say I look a lot younger and would like a little help. Thanks again.
Ceanie Mitchell absolutely. I’ve done a lot of facials/peels and this is by far my favorite. I do think SkinPen can provide better results as far as firmness around the jaw & neck but ViPeel is definitely better for reducing age spots aka hyperpigmentation, pores & overall just looks amazing! Just be sure to use a strong SPF during & afterwards
Geetha Priya well, if have a series of 3, I’d say at least a year but really the skin is transformed for years afterward. Mine took away brown spots etc and they never came back.
Why you think those false eyelashes make you look better is beyond me. Do you not see that they look so false so much, and do not make you look attractive? Your skin looks great.
Hey Kara. I love watching you 😊on WFAA Daybreak! I was looking up VI Peels and came across your channel. Thanks for sharing your peeling process with us.
Ann C oh! So glad to hear it. Thanks for watching. Yes, I knew it was a must document experience after hearing how intense the peel was, I’m glad I had it done.
Hi Kara, I just received Botox today and was told that a filler would improve my jowls. I also wanted to put a little filler in my lips. I need advice... have you had any experience with fillers? I’m scared and especially for the price. I need to hear from as many people as possible if it worth it?? Thank you for your video!! You are gorgeous!! Since we are the same age, I figured I could ask:). Thanks!!!
Shawna Lamb filler is a great option. I’ve had filler under my eyes so I don’t look so tired & around my mouth to help with marionette lines. Find a trained plastic surgeon so you don’t look overdone - it should create a softer look not look like a pillow under your skin. But trust me, once you’ve had it once you’ll want it again - good news, it lasts 1-2 years.

Today is day 6 for me and my face is burning and itching still and it looks irritated. When is it going to be done?????

Kara Sewell thank you so much, I feel better now and also to night when I washed my face, I noticed more peeling starting again.
