A quick question. Why did you use the range figure for the Long Range Model Y but not the extended battery c40 recharge?
I bought the c40 and I found I got very used to the blind spot. Not an issue in my books. The cargo space doesn’t matter. It’s just plain fun to drive!!
I just placed an order to this car... loved the outlook, but the narrow window is a concern like you said... by the way, we do have leather interior as standard in Taiwan
What is the difference between special metalic paint and metalic paint that you can choose with the C40?
I just got my C40 Recharge yesterday...absolutely love it and can't stop driving it around, lol.
Its a gorgeous car! We have the regular XC40 Recharge now and we just love the look of the C40 instead.
@@Worththewatt I was originally going to buy the XC40 Recharge...I was all set and didn't even know there was a C40, lol. I literally was at the dealership to do paperwork for the XC40 I wanted when I saw the C40...like they say, the rest is history lol. I have a 2023 C40 Recharge Ultimate now and absolutely love it.
Volvo has an option to install a rear view mirror which can be switched between mirror and digital camera providing a wide view of the rear.
You don't need to touch the screen.. You can voice command the changes on the screen..
Enjoyed the back and forth of the review. Super realistic pov. My wife had the same issue with the seat fabric. It's the least luxurious thing about the car, and was the deal breaker.

The temperature control in my xc40 is not at all sensitive. It's so fiddling to press it correctly, so I use voice command and it works very well.

Is that 2023 or 2024 model year? 2024 model year changes from front wheel drive dominant to rear wheel drive dominant along with a larger battery and improved range.

Polestar 2 just delivered my LR RWD to me last week. I love it. The new P4 has no rear window at all. I love the C40 too. I love the wool, but I’m from Kangaroo Island where sheep outnumber humans by thousands to 1. Everything about these cars is better than Tesla, IMO.

To now publish a video with an "old" (2023) year model of the C40 when there is already a new much improved version (2024) on the market, is very bad, very bad.
We just started a new channel as you can see and the 2023 model is what we had access too. To call 2023 "old" in 2023 is just crazy. When we have an opportunity to review the 2024 model we will review that as well. - Matt
@@Worththewatt Yes, it may sound crazy. But it's not "old" mathematically, but in terms of the car's new specifications. The 2024 model is a major update. And if you didn't mention the new version in your video, there is a risk of negative consequences for both Volvo and customers. This is something reviewers must take responsibility for.

I have unsubscribed for that reason. I think it’s a good lesson for the creator - do your research and know the brand and what model is current - 2024 made huge leaps for the C40 and you should have mentioned that in this video.

Yes you can but you can’t change how you want the heat to come out. There a little things that still require you to push it. It’s not a deal breaker or anything but an annoyance that I want to mention to the viewer - Matt

i have a 2022 electric Volvo with lot of problem , change the battery under warranty and now the éléctric motor is very noisy, leak water inside like a pool, rust underneath ,
i will never buy Volvo again ,
It’s still a Swedish designed product even with a Chinese backing. I’ve only heard good things about the build quality from other owners but Iam sorry you’re having issues. Since it’s a2022 model it sounds like youre still under warranty hopefully they can straight everything out for you
