There is a reason for a substantial price difference here. I'm not sure about hubs but I know nrg makes there quick releases out of cast aluminum, whereas works bell is billet. Big difference in strength and quality and price. You may not want to put shade on nrg but I will. They are what you pay for. Nrg is cheaper for a reason. For one they completely knocked off works bell. Works bell being the original patented owner of ball bearing quick releases. Second is quality control. Most if not all nrg products, made in China. Works bell, made in Japan with very scrutinous quality checks. I personally would never buy anything nrg.
Agreed
Could the reason why my clock spring has went out twice is because of the nrg hub
thank you for this amazing video because I was going crazy
I... kinda have to use the NRG hub since I own a Corvette... BUT the quick release I am going with a Works Bell rapfix, again I hate that but I have to use the hub for aftermarket wheels in the Z06.
thanks for making this video
Ohnoitsthatguy no problem !

Here you go boss
NRG uses cheap materials and the Ding will destroy the hub. The bearings rubbing against the hub start to take material off and eventually you get a wheel that wobbled and can potentially be pulled off.
Save up for reputable brands like Works Bell
Will the 2.0 nrg quick release with the Ding fit it ?
Did you ever find out if it works?
@@sxnchez34 yes it works
