    I want to give a huge shout to this channel and DND performance. Hub arrived quick and in perfect shape. No modifications are required for this hub!! For any future 370z owners or previous owners wanting to upgrade their wheel this is the video for you! Thanks again

    I ran into a couple of issues with my install... First, the supplied wiring harness didn't trick my ECU to avoid an air bag light. Second, no matter how I re-pinned the connector, the horn wouldn't work. Lastly, when I installed the hub & wheel and torqued the nut to the factory spec, 25ft lbs, steering was very stiff. When making turns, the wheel didn't want to straighten itself out. The first solution I tried was loosening the nut and tightening by hand with a socket, no ratchet. That helped, but it didn't solve the issue. Then I removed the clock spring; this fixes the steering feel and the wheel now straightens itself out as normal.

    Awesome, did the wire with the fuse at the end for the airbag come with the hub? Or did that come with the steering wheel?

    • @DriftGeek
      @DriftGeek  3 года назад +1

      No I did not fit perfect. They created a cavity for all that.

    How is the steering wheel and hub holding up do you think that they are good quality and strong for drifting

    • @DriftGeek
      @DriftGeek  2 года назад +1

      It's the only thing I use on my drift cars. They hold up perfectly.

    Do you know if I can get a DND wheel and get the NRG Short Hub and quick release? will they all work together if they have the same bolt pattern?

    • @DriftGeek
      @DriftGeek  2 года назад +1

      Yes they will all work together no problems

      @@DriftGeek awesome, I'm thinking about getting the DND hub and wheel and get the NRG quick release. Was there any extra modifications needed to install it or was it just a direct bolt on? I know with the NRG hub you have to rip off the airbag sensor but I'm not trying to do that lmaoo.

    I know this video is ancient but I was wondering if this hub required modification? I noticed the clockspring wasn't altered nor removed. Also does anyone possibly know the model number, DnD doesn't really answer lol. Thanks in advance!

    hey man i got the dnd hub but when i installed it the steering became stupid stiff and there a click sound whenever i turn it at a certain point u ever have that issue?

    • @DriftGeek
      @DriftGeek  3 года назад +1

      That's what happened to me you tightned up the bolt way too tight. Take it off completely again and find the torque spec to the bolt and make sure the nipple on the clock spring is aligned with the cavity for it on the hub.
