"Kinda makes me laugh how people say [insert language] voices all sound the same, while that's literally the case for any country"... YES! THANK YOU. I'm so tired of this bullcrap 🙄
Ooo cool :D This was really interesting to watch, definitely the highlight of my day being sick. I honestly had no inkling who'd win, but to be fair that didn't really matter to me because I just liked to compare the voices to one another and see your opinion. I think both languages have their big hits and big misses & we pretty much see eye to eye a lot here. I had completely forgotten about Fei Fei and this video reminded me of how cool the Finnish voice is. Also, so great that you have some songs of Finnish Elena saved, when my other channel was wiped out, I lost all Elena of Avalor songs in Finnish and I was a bit sad that there's no trace of them on RUclips. Great video!! It was a lot of fun to watch, and I really like the editing here, the ink drop effect is cool :D
Hey I’m glad you liked it :) hope you’re feeling okay though. Yeah Finnish Fei Fei is amazing! Yeah I think I have most videos of Elena in Finnish, do you want me to send them to you?
I’m okay, just a common flu, I’m already much better than yesterday :) I read the description, I hope everything is alright with you! If you could send what you have, that would be so great!! I honestly don’t even remember what she sounds like… if they ever add the dub to D+, it’ll either be with a completely new voice or they just ask Seera to sing them again; the rights to that dub belong to a TV channel company, idk how that works but when I asked Disney Suomi about the dub of Before Ever After not being on D+, they said that the rights belong to this TV channel which is why they can’t add it to D+… and it’s the same case with Elena. And with the launch of D+, every TV channel in Finland seemed to lose their streaming rights to Disney content, so that TV channel has removed the episodes and the Before Ever After movie from their streaming platform, and there’s no trace of the dubs anywhere. It’s so stupid 🥹
@@poisonivyYT Oh I didn't know Elena was a TV dubbing! It's so weird, like here, no matter where the dub is shown, it's a Disney dub and that's all, so it'll be the same on any TV channel, or DVD or VOD! Here's everything I had saved : we.tl/t-2pflMZMN2s
Oh gosh! 39 rounds.... ☠️☠️ That must have been exhausting and there are still many rounds on the way. But the result is worth it, just amazing, and I also enjoy reading your comments. I didn't expect Hungarian to hit that high, I thought it was an easy outsider and, thought it lost, it did unexpectedly well! I'm not very fond on these 2 dubbing countries, but I loved what Hungary did with "Quest for Camelot" & "The Prince of Egypt" We only disagree on some hungarian voices I really love and those are the newer ones, like Elsa, Moana & Jasmine 2019. As I have already said to you before, these kind of series are my favourites on your channel and congrats on managing to make it, considering your situation. ❤️
Johanna Nurmimaa is quite interesting for me lately. I mean, I'm not a fan of her Ariel and it's easily her worst role, but her Snow White is not that bad imo and her songs for Aurora in the Finnish 1987 storybook is just SO awesome I keep wondering what if the movie was dubbed that year as a whole. On the other hand, I still don't know how to feel about Marika. Her singing is very weird and I have often seen people calling her Ariel "alien" but still there's something captivating in her performance. I guess she is my guilty pleasure (not to the extent of Kristi Stassinopoulou's Ariel tho, she will always be top #1 guilty pleasure Ariel :D) That's just me spitting out some of my opinions tho, that's a great video you've made, keep going!
Wow, excellent edition, it was so smooth and elegant. Moving on to the battle, it was really tight, I have a soft spot for Finnish voices but Hungarian were amazing as well. Normally, I'd put my preferences, but I think I can't with so many rounds, also I don't have time for that haha. So, anyway, wonderful battle and excellent choices. The edition was incredible, hope to see new videos from you 🙃

Fei Fei:Sonja Pajunoja (Kitti losts her magic she had as Jasmine) Change'e:Gigi Radics (She sounds young and powerful, gosh, that last note,A5!!!!!!!) Mirabel:Esme Kaislakari (Petra sounds too casual for me)
I don't know wether Hungarian musical theatre actresses tend to sound so similar for some reason, or if people intentionally cast similar sounding Hungarian singers for animated movies, but honestly, being a native speaker, I probably wouldn't have noticed they sounded similar if so many people hadn't pointed it out.😅
So nice to see that the battle of languages are back again! It's so entertaining to see this kind of videos :D. I really like both Hungarian and Finnish dubs (but between those I tend to prefer Finnish). And even of they somehow are from the same language family, each dubbing sound really different from the other. As always, the coments are in point! I really focus reading them more than just checking the winner of each round. Oh and also I really respect you for comparing the voces 39 TIMES! I don't think I could hace the patience to do this x). And don't worry, the audio is totally ok. Hope you are doing bettter with your ear problem. Amazing video :D
Thank you, I’m glad you like the comments and enjoy watching the video :) Lol yeah those videos take quite some time because of that so I didn’t think I’ll have the time to finish another, but here it is for now
Finnish Elsa might not be my favorite, but I just love how authentic she sounds, and her screaming somehow made a very fierce Elsa. This is my only opinion that I just wanna share
Don't worry, the audio levels were absolutely perfect, and even if they weren't it is not something you should apologise about. You did your best given your circumstances and that's all that matters. Sending you tons of hugs and strength
Thank you very much for that, that was very kind. Yeah Fei Fei voices are all kinda the same, but Finnish is actually one of the few who stand out to me, you should give her another listen! Yeah for Snow White it has been hard, Kukka has been over Szonja for a time, but now at least I like Szonja more. I’m glad we agree and that at least I could make my view understandable through the comments!
@@charguigou Anytime 🧡 Hahaha okay I trust you I'll give her another listen. Honestly I should give a listen to all of them, I feel like I wronged them so much although they are all good and it was just Netflix casting voice clones 😂
Somehow I feel like we will have opposite feelings on almost everything in this video lol. Tho out the gate I like Erzsebet. Oh what do you know, the name of a Cinderella has changed once again. I agree so much about your Ingrid comment...she's my fave Aurora other than the original English and I can't really put my finger on why. She's just good. I haven't thought of Outi Järvela in yeeears I was just reminded of how much I love her weird voice. Finnish and Hungarian are both Top 5 on Kayley. Also for Kiara, Finnish is my #1 and Hungarian is like, maybe 2nd or 3rd. I don't listen to the Juliana song so that Hungarian version really hit for me in that brief line there. I think with Rapunzel both these languages started a trend: Finnish voices were always nasal and energetic and Hungarian were just older or younger sounding versions of Bernadett Vago. The 2019 Nalas were hard to hear cause they are not as good as Anni and Anna to me.... WTF Fei Fei was Jasmine in Finnish? She's seriously one of my favorite Fei Fei. I'm so glad you're putting out these videos even if you are mostly stepping away from this; it's bringing me BACK to the old days when I loved listening to these dubs.
