My mother made these often. She passed away 4 yrs ago. I would sit and watch her make them and yummy to my tummy! Haven’t had them since. I found your video today making these yummy biscuits and brought back so many wonderful memories! Ty so much! I think I will try and make them in memory of my beloved Mother. Mom was a fantastic cook and baker. I never like baking. But I did pick up the cooking skills and many grt recipes from her. Again thank you and God bless! I’m on board with you! Can’t wait to see what other grt meals or bake goods you have to share! 😊
Hello!! Thank you for your wonderful comment and lovely story about your beloved Mother who make these biscuits. I do hope you will dive in and try making them soon. If so, please let me know how they turned out. I love mine with butter and raspberry jam! YUM! :)
They are delicious every time!!. I must say, one time I used an outdated box of Bisquick and they didn't rise as much as they normally do. :( Whoops. HAHA
David, they are so delicious...have butter, jelly, and honey ready to go as you serve them piping-hot out of the oven! Very good reheated in the microwave for a few seconds with a paper towel wrapped around them.
Hello Christopher! Thank you for letting me know that you make the 7-up Biscuits. Delighted to hear that they turned out so well...I love mine with butter and raspberry jam. :) Have a wonderful day! Susie
When it’s all mixed I dump the whole pile of dough into a 13x9 pan an smooth the dough out. I cook for about 6 min then out it comes I either cut the dough with a bisquits cutter in the pan then back in the over to finish baking . The dough is so sticky and I find this is the easiest way without handling that sticky mess. Just an Idea .sometimes I just cut squares like a brownie rather than a bisquit cutter alsoo
Your biscuits will come out fluffier if you do not turn your cookie cutter or glass . If you just go straight down & it makes for 12:34 much much better biscuit. If it’s too sticky, just use extra Bisquick! You need to do extra close-ups because we can’t see how it turned out or the flakiness.
Well I'm all out of Pillsbury biscuits and I work on a ship and can't just run to the store guess I'll try this recipe...the question is does the crew deserve them? They don't but I do🤣
You're the best! Glad you enjoyed it again! Love you so much. Have you made the biscuits yet? If so, did you like them? So good with real butter and homemade jam! xoxo
Hello Zachary. I've tried cutting the pipping hot biscuits with a serrated knife but it did tear up the biscuits a bit more than using a fork. Let me know if you've tried making these 7-up biscuits and if you like them. :)
@@SusieShanlian I saw a guy making 7 up biscuits they were huge he said key is to just press straight down and don’t twist. He said twisting seals the side edges and does not allow them to rise real high. I was not meaning to judge your method I was just passing along his info and it seemed to make sense.
@@SusieShanlian no problem I’ve not made them yet I was going off the guy who made them and they were so tall and he said just push straight down with biscuit cutter. Made sense to me so I’m going with what he said. Good luck I never heard of that before either until his video
Best presentation I have seen on biscuits!
Wow, what a very nice comment! So glad you enjoyed it. Please share with others. Thank you very much. :)

Hey I love the dough. Lol
LOL...glad you do!!
@@SusieShanlian 🤣
There are amazing 😻!! Ty
Thank you...you are welcome!
I do that with self rising flour and buttermilk. It’s called butter, swim biscuits.
Oh, interesting! I bet they are delicious! Susie
Great recipes!!!
Thank you very much! :)

You definitely deserve them! Let me know if you made them, if you liked them, and if the crew was able to eat your left-over morsels. HAHA
Can you use any flavored 7-up ?
Hello, I've never thought about using flavored 7-up. Perhaps you could give it a try and see if you like it. :) Susie
I know this is from a year ago, but I just watched it again. I miss you and I’m just enjoying it so much! Laughing and talking to you!!! Hear me??? ❤️
You're the best! Glad you enjoyed it again! Love you so much. Have you made the biscuits yet? If so, did you like them? So good with real butter and homemade jam! xoxo
Great biscuit, I don't care for all the butter. Next time, I'll just cut the butter back.
Great idea!
Try using a serrated knife..it does the same thing as the fork.
Hello Zachary. I've tried cutting the pipping hot biscuits with a serrated knife but it did tear up the biscuits a bit more than using a fork. Let me know if you've tried making these 7-up biscuits and if you like them. :)
@@SusieShanlian they tore up because they were hot. You have to allow them to slightly cool. I haven't made the 7-up biscuits yet.
You not supposed to twist when you cut them out because it seals the edges and will not rise as big
I've never hear this before. Thank you so much for letting me know. Susie

I will try to make only made other biscuits twice and failed .
Please do try them...and let me know how they turned out! Would love to hear.
Have a good day! Susie
I didn't like bisquick when i used it! I either like homemade mix or just selfrising flour!! Had never heard of 7up til tonight!!
Let me know if you try out the recipe and if you liked the biscuits. :)
@@SusieShanlian oh yes i will! I intend to try it,it looks good!! Thank you!!
You can sub jiffy baking mix or pancake mix instead of Bisquick.
