You brought back memories for me. A dear cousin made mayonnaise biscuits for me and my mother about 40 years ago. The biscuits were amazing! I didn’t have the recipe but thanks to you I have it now.
Hope you enjoy them. Thanks for watching.
I've always made good biscuits, but these are the BEST I HAVE EVER MADE, and with way less trouble, too! Thank you! I've started doubling the recipe and putting one pan into the freezer because my family eats them faster than I can make them!
Thank you. Happy to hear that you and your family enjoy them. Thanks for watching.
I just made Skillet Bread on the stove top yesterday and now I'm gonna have to try this recipe the same way. Thank You CT 61
Hope you enjoy
Good looking Biscuits!
Thank you 😋
I've made something similar to this, but I've used BISQUICK, and mayo to which they came out really good ! The wife went to the store and picked up self rising flour instead of all purpose! So I will definitely make these to use up the self rising

They are! Thanks for watching
I never heard of Mayonnaise in the biscuits, couldn't be any differently than Mayonnaise in a cake, which makes it soft and moist! They do look very delicious! So, I will try them and see how they come out and let you know later. Thank you ❤️
Thanks for watching

Yes they are. Thank you for watching.
Perfect biscuits 🙏🏼😇👍👌💯
Thank you. Thanks for watching.
Great biscuits 🙏♥️🙏😋
Thank you 😋
When my 3 boys were young ( decades ago ) I made these often . Only I did them as drop biscuits . They weren't smooth , but they were delicious & the boys loved them ! They were hardy , homemade & cheap to make , to fill up the tummies of 3 active , growing boys ! They affectionately called them Moon Rocks - not because they were hard , but because of the rough , uneven look of them . They were light & fluffy just like yours . If I needed a sandwich biscuit , I just made them a bit larger . You sure brought back some good memories ! 🥰
Thanks for watching
Those are some fine looking biscuits!
Thanks for watching.

What a great use for mayonnaise. Whenever I buy a jar of mayonnaise, eventually I have to throw some out, because I can't use it fast enough.

Oh, I forgot to mention I love cooking in cast iron skillet! I have quite a few of them, which are originally 50 years old and still going strong. They are made like they were supposed to be made they're not made today they're not any good. It's the old ones!
Looks yummy! Subbed!!
They are delicious and go with just about any meal. Thank you for watching.
Did you say to bake at 450?
Yes. 450 degrees
@@billchism2935 well, I made some earlier this evening and they were delicious! But I had to baste them with butter at 12 minutes and they were done in 15 minutes total! I will make them again for sure.
If you will pour the milk into the mayo , you'll get more of the mayo out of the measuring cup .........
Thank you. Thanks for watching.
Hey, thanks for such easy recipe! I was wondering, could I just make (drop biscuits) ?
Drop biscuits should work great. Thanks for watching.
What brand of mayonnaise do you use? Can you use Miracle Whip? This looks delicious 😋
I was using Kraft in the video, but Miracle Whip should work just as well. Thanks for watching
Anyplace I can print the recipe for this? Thanks
As far as I know, there is no printed recipe for this. I just remember my mom making them when I was a kid and used her recipe. Only thing I would know to tell you is just write down the recipe from the video. I give all the ingredients and measurements for each. Hope this helps. Thanks for watching.
How do I find the recipe? They look delicious!
As far as I know there is no written recipe but if I am correct, I gave all the ingredients and measurements in the video. Let me know if I missed anything. Thanks for watching
Need to put a glove on that hand.
Thanks for watching
Please write recipe
I added it to the description.
Mayonnaise STINKS the smell the texture the sound
Thanks for watching.
I made them years ago. They were bland and I should have added salt and sugar.
The salt and sugar makes a world of difference in the taste. Thanks for watching.
Ty! Video is really dark.
Yes had some lightning issues. Thanks for watching
Just don't use the mayonnaise with olive oil in it or else it will be a flat biscuits no matter how good you got them touching
Thanks for watching
Sorry but their ment to be drop biscuits not formed here’s the correct recipe
Their drop biscuits they baked in muffin pans
2 cups Self Rising Flour
(Or use reg with salt and baking powder )
1 cup Whole Milk
2 tablespoons Mayonnaise (heaping) ie
(6 tablespoons mayonnaise)
Just use this basic formula: For every 1 cup of all-purpose flour, add 1 1/2 teaspoons baking powder and 1/4 teaspoon fine salt.
400° for 20 till be it a bit brown on top
biscuits a light and fluffy texture.
(For rolled and cut biscuits, use just enough milk to hold the dough together.)

At your age I'm sure you were taught not to wear a hat in the house. Young people do I know my husband has to remind our grandsons to take their's off.
Yes I was, but it keeps any hair from getting into anything. Can’t stand those hair net things. Lol. Thanks for watching.
Chef’s hat?Is a hairnet a hat?Just saying.Yes kids hats off in the house and church of course!
@@billchism2935 It's a shame some people are so weird. I apologize for their odd criticism of you wearing your hat in your OWN kitchen. Since you're creating a RUclips cooking video in your OWN kitchen (not church), you obviously can wear whatever you want. I would also prefer the hat over a hair net myself.
Great biscuit recipe. I love mayonnaise biscuits and sour cream biscuits. ❤👍
