This is my favourite video. I mean I always go back and watch it again and again, I cant even imagine how many times I have seen it now :") Beautiful work. Thank you so much for sharing this x
I have heard of marbling before, but this was beyond my expectations. The scary moment when you was putting canvas... Really well done, makes me want to try it myself :)
When u were just splattering the paint in the water and put the canvas in I was like I got this.... but then you started painting....haha beautiful paint by the way! :)))
this is soooo grate i loved this video and how you used the colors for the canvas was alsome and then you transfomed it in to a lovely work of art that was really really wonderful loved it soo much :)))))
thats just about the best artistic video i've seen EVER on youtube! man that your work is amazin brainstumbling, i din't expect THAT to happen after the marbling. its just .. absolutely great. it looks like you are thinking about the cosmos, quarks and the galactic centred black wholes of sparkling matter.
I agree It is the best video I ever seen ( I don't watch many but this one was worth every minute) unique clean and amazing. Thank you. From Houston TX.
Interesting and original. Thanks. The one problem I have with this video - and some of the comments reflect this - is that it gives no details as to the actual technique. Presumably, you are using marbling colours, floated on a 'size' (i,.e. thin glue.) This was the technique used in the traditionally-maide marbled 'end papers' of books of the Victorian era. Another video, describing this, would be helpful for those of your viewers who have no background in this technique of marbling.
WHAT i wouldn't give to come and learn from you. This is truly amazing. Please tell me what kind of paint it is you are using and how you prep. your canvas's. pleeeeasel
Sevgili Itir Hanım, Your work is reminiscent of the "Cosmogrammes" by the American artist Louise Janin, a member of the Paris 'Musicaliste' movement in the 1920's. She would marble and then paint over it, back in the 1950's! See her article: "Painting with Variations of the Marbling Technique: Cosmogrammes: A Memoir" Leonardo, Vol. 8, No. 4. (Autumn, 1975), pp. 281-286.
I would like to try your marbling process and was wondering if you would tell me, do I just use regular tap water in my bath or, distilled or something else maybe? Also, do I use artist's oil color mixed with linseed oil to a watery consistency? I'm an acrylic pour and water color artist and so far have not experimented in oils. Any info you are willing to share will be so very much appreciated. I absolutely LOVE your unique style and the last painting in the series shown at the end is EXACTLY how the energy is right now. Chaotic, falling apart and coming together all at the same time. WOW!!!!! You have been blessed with the spirit in your art! Don't stop painting and please don't stop sharing.
Thank you :) Water with a low pH is always better... I use non-oil paint, mixed with ox-gall for marbling. You can mix acrylic with ox-gall, however you should use a suitable binder for smoothness. I use oil color with brush, afterwards. That's why I mention my technique as marbling + (plus) oil color.
@filmtress I think it really sucks when artists become secretive. I think they do that because they're afraid of competition, failure, and of becoming just another artist, and they're not confident in their skills. The thing about art is that you can never rely on one thing to bring you to the top of the art world. You have to constantly be learning different techniques. I think what really sets some artists from others is that they teach their technique to help broaden the world of art.
LOL!!! It's awesome, truly awesome, but at 2:11 it seemed like you were going to smash the canvas into the water with a big SPLASH! The canvas is really cool though!
Can you please upload a detailed video ?I tried using marbling paint from the kit on normal paper.Unfortunately, the colours don't show very well.Any tips on kind of paper or paint to be used?
Hello, I was trying this technique out but it's not working... I was using pretty low grade oil paints and i was experimenting with cartridge paper. My experimentation kept resulting in sploches and blobs rather than swirls. Do you think that perhaps i should be using better oil paints? What paints do you use. And just for clarification, you're using water, right?
This is my favourite video. I mean I always go back and watch it again and again, I cant even imagine how many times I have seen it now :") Beautiful work. Thank you so much for sharing this x
absolutely stunning, the painting and your music
the final piece is beautiful and unique! Love the style.

¿LE PONE ALGUNA IMPRIMACION AL LIENZO PARA QUE SE ADHIERA LA PINTURA?

see en.wikipedia org/wiki/Paper_marbling, its not just normal water but you need additives
the liquid that the canvas is dipped into is water, or wall paper glue? Thanks!
Wow!
Wow, just... wow
D: THATS SOOOO COOL I WOULD LOVE TO BUY ONE ;^;
sorry that technique or style used to develop this type of painting?
LOL!!! It's awesome, truly awesome, but at 2:11 it seemed like you were going to smash the canvas into the water with a big SPLASH! The canvas is really cool though!
its oil paint.. or model car paint.. that sits on water.. or a wallpaper glue.. and then you dip your canvas in it and there you have it
Omg brilliant
How do you dilute the oil paint? Water? Turpenoid?
What kind of paint did you use for the marbling part of the video? if you don't mind my asking.
How long from first dip to the finished product?
Can you please upload a detailed video ?I tried using marbling paint from the kit on normal paper.Unfortunately, the colours don't show very well.Any tips on kind of paper or paint to be used?
que tipo de pintura es?
are you an artist?! you should be a painter!
What are the materials/what's the process? What types of paints are you using?

Might help me make the dilution of the oil?
