I've always been curious if somebody (from Drake's team?) put a limit on how many tags Conductor could use OR if it was an artistic choice.... There's significantly less than usual.
Nah- the tag didn’t feel good on either one of them records. Every time I let it run I felt like it was taking away from the moment. Drake gave me 100% creative control beat wise.
Bro all I know is when I heard that “Conductor” my jaw dropped and my headphone volume immediately went up!

The simplicity of the beat is what makes it so great. It gave drake the space he needed to just flow with it and be the focus of the song. Great work
Reminds me of a beat I made recently. Saw a photo of a woman at a museum and thought about the emotion she might be feeling. Then tried to make a beat around that. Other art forms really are a great resource for producers.

8am in charlotte is def one of my top 5 drake songs oat. Maybe even top 3. So glad ur beats are becoming so mainstream nowadays them things go so incredibly hard
You can see the pure nostalgia in your eyes when recounting the all too familiar nightly chore of doing the dishes. Something we rued or avoided as children, and maybe now wish we had the blessing of doing one more time, if only to be in the presence of those no longer with us who ate off the plates we hurriedly cleaned.

This is easily one of the best drake songs over one of his best selection of beats. I listened to this song 10+ times on the way home from work and it’s just something about this song that really gets to me. Not even trying to be emotional and both of my older brothers are still alive so it’s not even anything like that. This song is called stories about my brother but the beat sounds like my grandfather. Jazzy, soulful. kinda how I imagine late night tv shows all sounded in the 40s, 50s, 60s.
