AYYYY illangelo is a true goat. man is the best at basically everything: making instrumentals, arranging, mixing, sound-designing. this man deserves more recognition
illangelo has mixed five of Weeknd's most successful and critically acclaimed projects. That is House of Balloons, Thursday, Echoes of Silence, BBTM, and After Hours.
Great video! Abel and Illangelo are a classic duo. They make magic whenever they work on R&B tracks. It's a shame Illangelo said he isn't producing on the next album.
MAN,I'VE BEEN WAITING THIS!I'VE BEEN WAITING THIS! Illangelo it's truly one of the unuqie producer for the past 13 years. I'm grateful to u for this tutorial!
Watched every second of his MWTM episodes. He wound up influencing 80% of my Dark RnB template. His attention to detail is the new benchmark for me. Good call on this breakdown my guy!
Very insightful and straight to the point! Thank you for that video bro! Illangelo's sound is what inspired a big part of my melody taste without even knowing who he was until recently. The dark, mystic and ambient sounds are so touching and I can listen to them forever.
Man, great pacing in your editing and just right level of depth to explain things. Very clean and factual, cutting out knob and slider turning, leaving in just the good stuff. Great editing, super engaging - I’m a new subscriber and happy to come for more! Great representtion of automations, piano roll, plugins and samples without the fluff - love it!
Great video! Love illangelo’s production with The Weeknd! I think a cool artist you could cover could be Daniel Caesar and his production team with Matthew Burnett and Jordan Evan’s. I feel like they really let his vocals and harmony ideas really shine through the production.
I even left automation on the track, and in more recent years daws have gained the ability to read automation from wave files. They stole from me and that's why the lyrics say he is living someone else's life!
The Weeknd was created in a studio. His original producer discovered him and shaped his sound and then when The Weeknd got big, was dropped. Illangelo came afterwards.
Which plugin did you use for the pitch shifted delay? Im aware i could use a pitch shifter only on the delay signal or just bounce to audio and shift it up but maybe the plugin is useful
I love to tell my life journey and heal people through my verses... But I don't have money to give anyone for my song.. and my wish is stuck, I don't know where to go.. But I will try my best to give my all through my songs... And weeknd is my inspiration...❤❤
Illangelo + Mike Dean + The Weeknd = Perfect song

his mixing is actually bullshit
@@voinrimaNo, it isn't. He's mixed songs like The Hills and other classics. Illangelo is a creative mixer that breaks traditional mixing rules.

Totally right. He never uses complex chord progression.

Amazing how you get the exact same Vibe that Illangelo's production gave me when Abel sings over his Beats 💯💯💯
Great Video and 🔥🔥🔥Beats!!!

thank you for speaking in the number system instead of yapping about the specific chords that actually makes life so much easier

The chorus on "Losers" is a perfect example of Labrinth's production style. Usually, his production is heavy on synths and upbeat.
this is about illangelo?
This is to show that some of the info presented in the video is questionable. Props to loner, just not the best example.
@@vladminenok95 understood and yeah ur absolutely right
