Pay no attention to this time stamp on this video or any videos I make with this camera. This video was made September 8, 2024. I tried getting customer service at the SENA camera company to help me with erasing or changing the timestamp. I gave up after three months of exchanging emails, where they always started out, wanting to know when I bought it, with the serial number, and model number is, and a photocopy of my receipt, which I always provided, but I finally realize that I was trapped in what is known as “the tyranny of Clerks”
I never heard anyone refer to sheepskin as fur.. i’ll have to remember that one and use it..
I put a couple hundred thousand miles on motorcycles using sheepskin seat covers, especially if the seat was bad..
it’s as soft as mink , cool when its hot, warm when it’s cool..
I happened to find this NT 700 V in November 2023 on the Internet for sale near me. Original owner, some extras on it, he paid over $11,000 out the door for this machine new in 2010…
it sat with fuel stabilizer in the gas tank since around 2015 until November 2023. He had it taken to a shop where they put new Michelin‘s on it, and got it running. Then I bought it, and it conked out on me 40 miles from home, due to fuel starvation caused by the fuel stabilizer… I have many videos of the step-by-step process of sorting the problems up with this machine. They really weren’t problems with the machine as much as they are problems of neglect. Motorcycles, cars, houses don’t really wear out, they are neglected to death.
so once I got the fuel tank, cleaned inside by sticking my arm in there through the fuel pump, port, at the bottom of the gas tank, and cleaning the insides of the tank by hand, then cleaning the fuel filter at the bottom of the fuel pump, which is about as large as a teabag, you can see in one of my videos what I was dealing with caused by that fuel stabilizer. but I got it running and it still wasn’t running correctly. At low speeds it would occasionally Buck and stall…
it turned out to be the most common problem with this machine around the world. Honda almost did a worldwide recall on this machine because of, the spark plug cabs. They develop voltage leak when they get a few years old, due to the fact that they are baked in that hot environment at the top of the cylinder head. I put dielectric grease on the spark, plug leads and new spark, plug caps along with new spark plugs, and it has been running like a Swiss watch ever since.
