    i’m confused, I thought I had the Reuben that day not the chicken Parmesan. By the way, don’t believe the timestamp. I tried to fix the timestamp it can’t be Changed. This was August 2024.

      I trust you 😄 which year was this bike made? I have a 2010 NT700v. Manual says it's 45mpg

      my bike is a 2010 Honda NT 700v… I bought it from the original owner that paid over $11,000 out the door for it including a few extras like the rack and the Color matched trunk..
      it’s sat in his garage without being ridden starting around 2015. That was the last year. There was a notation of the oil change in the owners manual when the machine had 6600 miles on it when I bought it it had 7500 miles on it.
      he decided to sell it so he had a shop pick it up and get it running and replace the original tires with a fresh set of Michelin‘s..
      I bought this bike in November 2023, because the owner put stabilizer in the fuel before he parked it, that stabilizer turned into a mass attached to the bottom of the gas tank inside.. it ran OK on the test ride because that mass of stabilizer material had not broken loose yet from having the bike ridden with gas in the tank. But within 60 miles after I got the bike home and conked out on me on the road 40 miles from home the first time I took it for a ride longer than 5 miles. That was in November just before winter hit anyway so I Took my time sorting things out. I have videos on RUclips of inside the gas tank. I was able to fit my small camera, the size of a roll of nickels inside the gas tank to see if I had all the problem removed. I also have videos of what the stabilizer looks like when it plugged my fuel filter inside the fuel tank. Removing the fuel pump consent from the bottom of the tank, the hole for that consent is big enough to stick my whole arm in. So I was able to use a scotch bright pad to brush the walls inside the tank to remove that dried material stuck to the walls in the tank.
      when I was done, the machine still had an issue/problem. It would hesitate intermittently. It was most noticeable, pulling away from stop signs at low speed. In my very first video, I put on RUclips, I complain about that throughout that short video. I was blaming it on throttle position sensor… it turns out that all of these machines have an issue with the spark plug caps. that is the plastic cap on the spark plug wire that snaps onto the spark plug. They get cracks in them and the caps develop what is known as voltage leak. That causes the spark plug to misfire or not fire at times.
      I replaced the spark plug caps with OEM caps, and the bike runs as it should now ever since I cleaned the fuel filter, cleaned the fuel tank, and replaced the spark plug caps and the spark plugs, and I coated the spark plug wires, all the way up to the coils with dielectric grease to waterproof them, damp proof them, and hopefully to keep them from drying out and cranking, because they are in a very hot environment at the top of the engine ..
      so far so good. It seems like I just got this bike a little while ago, but a little more than seven weeks from now, that will be one year since I bought this machine..
      Time really does pick up speed..
      by the way, I am pleased that this machine does not have ABS. My BMW K 1200 LT had ABS. I was going down a grade that had fly ass and gravel on it on a paved asphalt surface. That’s a 900 pound motorcycle. I touched the brakes to maintain my speed at around 25 miles an hour on all those marbles. .
      I can’t tell you how surprised I was to have no breaks at all, nothing, not front brakes, not rear brakes. The downhill slope was about 100 yards long with a 90° turn at the bottom I was not going to be able to make at that speed. The computer ABS system detected that I was on a slippery surface, and it would not send the signal to the servos to apply the brakes. I was fortunate that there was an auto salvage yard at the bottom of the hill that I was able to run through the grass for about 10 feet and run into the fence to slow me down like a large metal net to stop, only breaking my front fender..
      when my new fender came in, I sold that bike . I feel that ABS on a motorcycle is a placebo for idiots. It is a cure for a problem that doesn’t exist. I can’t imagine a machine with ABS riding on a muddy trail, off-road, or even just a slightly steep dry trail with slag or loose rocks where in someone takes their dual sport off-road.
      I was very fortunate that I was not in a situation, where I would have gone out into the middle of a four-lane highway at the bottom of that hill ..
      for that reason, I am more likely to buy an older machine without traction control, or stability control or ABS..
      I am closing in on 800,000 miles behind bars on motorcycles without ABS. I made it this far. I’m glad my new to me and T 700 does not have ABS
