Congratulations
Although Akeem clearly false started; I was in awe of his race. He was flying and he made it seem effortless. In all his other races, he was always tightening. I always gave Seville the edge based on how he executes but this race has changed my mind.
I'm a bit fan of his. No doubt he's putting in the work
No one is talking about how Zharnel Hughes was closing on Ackeem Blake. I think if Ackeem had NOT false started that Hughes would have won the race for sure. Everyone needs to keep their eyes on Hughes, he will be the one to beat. He has very good form and technique with good turnover speed.
Not that no one is talking about Zharnel. We all know his potential and he's a very good talent when he gets it right. However, it's definitely not the case that Zharnel would have won as Ackeem's execution is way more consistent and he's very aggressive when competing. So far Zharnel has not won a final in Jamaica with a fit Ackeem in the race. Obviously Ackeem has beaten Zharnel on multiple occasions
@@JayDublow OK Thanks for Infomation. I will continue to watch Zharnel. He is on my Track Radar now.
@Dakari Hill don't do him so bad. He does not false start when Yohan is in the race doh !!
@@JayDublowI told you 1 month ago the Zharnel could beat Ackeem and he did today. Zharnel has better top end speed then Ackeem. Now Zharnel knows he can beat Ackeem. JAM watch out. That will motivate and push him because he can from behind to win the race. WOW.
@@hiramhubbard5190 hehe! Good one. Hope they both get even better!
After putting it on 0.25x I could see that he clearly false started, but for some strange reason the officials did not call back the race
If it ain't one ting it's annoda!! KMT!!
He looks like he will dip in the low 9.80's this season.
Right now me can't think of two other guys that would make up the 4*100m relay, outside of Akeem and Oblique. Wish Nkrumie is healthy by trials. The winner of last year trials 200m, Andrews might be draft into the relay pool if him still running sub 20 this year. Forte really need to up him game cause look like a bey Blogging him doing online.
Akeem and Oblique set to be the shining stars this year, along with Nkrumie if he gets back healthy.
If healthy, so far Nkrumie, Yohan Blake, Ackeem, Oblique, Julian Forte, Jelani Walker and Hudson. Of course a few changes can take place in the trials!
He may force a rule change for "anticipation" because he consistently starts faster than anyone, without reacting before the gun. 0.0100 may have to drop to .009
Why didn’t the professional officials stopped the race and call them back. This is so weird man. It’s a clear false start but ish man. 😂😂😂
The false start affected Julian Forte's race. He caught up with Zharnel Hughes but decided to relax towards the final 30m
d man with the best camera. Can upload last and still get the most views lol
Kaiser yuh nuh easy a rc !!!! Mi tiad out man 😁😁🤣🤣
It was a false start, but this kid is extremely talented. Watch out for him
looks like a false start...
False start was clear
Him start before everybody
Him jump not a fair race !
It looks like he jump before the time 😮
Shooter 🔫 with the camera 📷
Poor from the officials. Do better
Johnny, what are thoughts re Malique Smith-Band? I see him running sub 20 soon!
Quite a revelation. He blossomed incredibly well this season over 400m. Didn't even know he was Fitzroy Dunkley's younger brother! He has not run his best 200m yet this season though as there's no one to compete with him! Bryan Levell could have provided a real test for sure. Such a pity. Maybe at the national trials Malique might give himself a brand new PB over 200m??
Smithband is a big talent and one for the future
@@JayDublow what happen to bryan levell
@@Nauhs41 out injured all season. Missed Carifta and Champs obviously. Heard he should be at Penns with his High School though. Hopefully he comes back great. Let's see
@@JayDublow You are 100% accurate re him not running his best yet. I do realize that he is running within himself. Btw, the gleaner posted an interview with him last week re his plans for this year. Just know that he has set his sights on making the senior team for Budapest! The boy is ambitious, and I believe he's going to spring a surprise!
Hughes twitch so he false start they use ackem has scape goat because his start was great
On video you can not hear the gun clearly, so you really can't tell.
What was the infringement!
Ackeem FS according to their system, so the clock was nullified, but they did not stop the race, which was a weird situation in the end
@@JayDublow super weird! So someone screwed up and Akeem had to pay for it
@@randywilliams500 yea, the race should have been called back immediately if the system generates a false start, but clearly the starter had other stuff to deal with .... So the athletes ran a race to no avail ...
