    Although Akeem clearly false started; I was in awe of his race. He was flying and he made it seem effortless. In all his other races, he was always tightening. I always gave Seville the edge based on how he executes but this race has changed my mind.

    No one is talking about how Zharnel Hughes was closing on Ackeem Blake. I think if Ackeem had NOT false started that Hughes would have won the race for sure. Everyone needs to keep their eyes on Hughes, he will be the one to beat. He has very good form and technique with good turnover speed.

    • @JayDublow
      @JayDublow  Год назад +1

      Not that no one is talking about Zharnel. We all know his potential and he's a very good talent when he gets it right. However, it's definitely not the case that Zharnel would have won as Ackeem's execution is way more consistent and he's very aggressive when competing. So far Zharnel has not won a final in Jamaica with a fit Ackeem in the race. Obviously Ackeem has beaten Zharnel on multiple occasions

      @@JayDublowI told you 1 month ago the Zharnel could beat Ackeem and he did today. Zharnel has better top end speed then Ackeem. Now Zharnel knows he can beat Ackeem. JAM watch out. That will motivate and push him because he can from behind to win the race. WOW.

    He looks like he will dip in the low 9.80's this season.
    Right now me can't think of two other guys that would make up the 4*100m relay, outside of Akeem and Oblique. Wish Nkrumie is healthy by trials. The winner of last year trials 200m, Andrews might be draft into the relay pool if him still running sub 20 this year. Forte really need to up him game cause look like a bey Blogging him doing online.
    Akeem and Oblique set to be the shining stars this year, along with Nkrumie if he gets back healthy.

    He may force a rule change for "anticipation" because he consistently starts faster than anyone, without reacting before the gun. 0.0100 may have to drop to .009

    • @JayDublow
      @JayDublow  Год назад +2

      Quite a revelation. He blossomed incredibly well this season over 400m. Didn't even know he was Fitzroy Dunkley's younger brother! He has not run his best 200m yet this season though as there's no one to compete with him! Bryan Levell could have provided a real test for sure. Such a pity. Maybe at the national trials Malique might give himself a brand new PB over 200m??
