I wouldn't use Samsung. Half of the sensors (features) aren't there or aren't enabled in Canada and I never hold my breath to wait on tech companies to catch up. Most of the best features don't function so why would I spend a wad on a crippled device. No thanks Samsung. This kinda stuff is why I've steered away from Samsung in the last few years. I'm waiting to see which company comes out with a new unforked version of an Android watch where ALL the features work .

Perfect combo for me is Pixel Fold and Pixel Watch. The Pixel Fold is coming. Google entering foldables by Year 3. Apple better get moving or they'll become Nokia and RIM.

Slab Phase 1: 2009-2013? Slab Phase 2: 2014-2019? Foldable Phase 1: 2019-2023? Foldable Phase 2: 2024-2029? Phase 2 is when things get perfected. When things get perfected, it gets boring. Having a perfect marriage can get boring. Phones from 2017 and later got boring but also perfected. Two of my favorite phones ever came from that boring era of 2017-2019 where we lost headphone jack, less bezel, got notches or punch holes, Face ID crap, and glass slabs that all looked the same. But each platform got very mature by 2018, cameras became amazing, and the latest SoCs and specs became overkill for the average phone user.
I like the Galaxy Watch 4. Reminds me of my Galaxy Active 2. The Z Flip 3 is nice, but I'd wait for the price to come down before rushing out to buy it.
I was WRONG on one thing. I believed we could buy a phone and not upgrade for another 5 years. Only upgrade twice per decade. Thought we already hit the maturity stage. Nope. Many of us tech nerds will change to a new phone every 6 months with all the new innovative form factors that will be released these next 3-5 years. TechTubers are going to end up broke buying all these Phase 1 foldables. Be like the early 2010s all over again. Buying at least two phones yearly will be common.
Tri-folds and rollable displays are coming. So whatever we are using now that can only fold once or show creases that a rollable won't will look outdated very quickly.
