That's the local council for you! Rents too high for business, parking too high for customers. The rents are too high for residents because of the shops & parking forcing people away. It's very sad to see them destroying it for their own greed.
You need to add the Museum of leathercraft. Situated in Grosvenor chambers . Fascinating tours and you see objects from Samual Pepys wallet, to fragments of the dead sea scrolls, Sedan chair, gilded leather, and lots of personal anecdotes about objects. We really enjoyed it so much we left a £20 tip.

Sadly market was moved and now heading for most stalls to close.
