      People in Stem Fields enjoy their jobs as long as there is not too much politics involved, or else they would choose a different degree. I think disagreements are certainly an issue. If you are hiring an Indian from India who suddenly wants to prove that he is better than his boss and challenges him or her with stuff, then this is certainly an issue. Nobody said you must be better than all of your employees. Most people are at top because they took extra responsibilities that the rest of us either don't risk or don't want, such as everything that's included in your job responsibilities. Challenging others is similar to Voter's rights, but time in America was always an issue. I worked at a place, where each new employee felt like that person, which is fine, but unless your employer provides a good amount of training, one can't afford to spend the time to explain why your approach worked so far and how you have learnt from past mistakes. In any case, the new person without analyzing the past data, and even then, everything involves personal relationship with others! You customers can choose to move on, and a great employee will always encourage that. That will simply mean, that you are more qualified for a different job, even if you think your customer is wrong. The truth, the customer has a basic intuition to understand that others can service her just the same way. You by overanalyzing it, step up to a different job or different title! This is something for data collectors. They collect data on customers, say I am buying Candies and I want to be serviced. I want someone to physically service me, like weight the candies, I want someone to teach me, no, I don't have the time for it. So while the candy lady wants to teach you, thinking that she is doing the right thing, about the candies, all that you wanted was to weigh them. In any case, these are low end jobs, and your customers aren't going to bright up on it, and so, as far as the data goes, you can say send it to recruiters that recruit people for MacDonald's. Like they can build set of Requirements! This might disqualify Harvard student, which is why you want to make sure that the more educated is employed first, before the rest. This way the University degree students will always have a job, and Universities will make sure to qualify their students before accepting them to such programs like Music School, Law School, Engineering and so on... Most of these programs can't compete internationally, so you end up with bunch of stupid coworkers, that don't understand a thing. Your customer does not always know what's good for your company, they are not your employees! I think, this is where some companies went wrong, by listening to their customers. If you are offering a great product, it is always better than mediocre!
