    The best one I have been asked. "The reflection in the mirror looks bad, can you change it?"
    This was a bathroom render with an entire wall of mirror.

    Great video and advice! Thanks Fabio. I've noticed most clients think of changes as a photoshop thing. They will be like "hey, just narrow a bit the whole facade" or "can we just change the minimalist sofa for the Louis XV upholstered chaise just to see how it looks?". So I totally agree with you on the suggestions for client management. What has been working for me is to compare the whole process of making an image with its analog cousins, so for example, I tell clients that a rendered image is a virtual photograph of a virtual model, such as in real life. So the clients then say "oh! So you have to to do all that?! I thought it was just pushing a button!". Anyways, thank you so much for your videos! I've found them really useful and i'm beeing like "for the first time someone understands me!" :')

    Hehe, those are facts, good job talking about this topic! Personally I address this clients changes by overwhelming them with suggestions and constructive discussions regarding what does the client expect from this change, before wasting time working on it, that works, most of times, one more point, changes are money!

    • @FabioPalvelli
      @FabioPalvelli  6 лет назад

      Worth it, though! It was fantastic, and so far the actual advice you're giving is really helpful. I've done a little bit of stuff before with clients before, and these are helpful things! Especially liked the point of it being the designer's job to guide the client through the process and make sure that they don't get out of hand. That is huge.
      I've missed being on here, too! I'm glad to be getting back into the swing of things making more videos.

    The problem here is that 80% of our clients don't care about the whole thing. So here we apply 80-20 rule. The truth is we have to learn how to deal better with objections.

    • @FabioPalvelli
      @FabioPalvelli  6 лет назад +1

      George Nicola yes, 100% with you, if you can't figure out how to get them to do that then at least let them pay you for the work. I found that with clients I could consult, at the end I was able to make more for less. If they let me make the extra image instead of their useless inputs, I would give them the image for free

    • @GeorgeNicola
      @GeorgeNicola 6 лет назад

      Exactly. Fabio consider if it's possible for you doing a video about objects handling with clients, it WILL have a lot's of input and help to the industry.

    • @Studio33weirer
      @Studio33weirer 6 лет назад

      -> tried this by giving them bout 200 printed pages with objects of furniture... and that was way to much for them-> so they wanted more tests with diffrent furniture... :-(
