    Y'all work hard.. Very enjoyable to watch what y'all do.. Farming has always been my dream.. But there's noway a person can just be a farmer..

      Your right it’d be extremely difficult for a guy to just start being one on his own without working for someone else.

    That was a nice long one, but even those go fast. Tough breakdown, and I see you mentioned you only just got it back two days ago. Guess they had it quite a bit longer than expected. At any rate, well done on another nice video!
    I will say that of all of the farm channels I watch, I pretty much never comment. I'm just trying to do my part for the YT algorithm until you gain some good momentum. I'm doing the same for a cotton/peanut/wheat grower in Texas with a similar sub count. I appreciate you guys!

    • @iversfarms

      Thanks for that, really appreciate it. Yeah they had to separate it into and it was hard to find. A faulty solenoid pressure relieve valve was the main problem

      What’s the name of the Texas farmer and how did you stumble upon us?

      @@iversfarms Sure thing. Conley Banman is his name: ruclips.net/channel/UCG1_J-vuLOywupdBhogqvRgfeed
      As far as your channel goes, one of the videos randomly came up as recommended one. Shortly after that, I've heard Alex at Rusch Farms mention you guys once or twice. I guess you guys have met, or at least someone in your family.
      I'm a Denver native, but my mom grew up on a Nebraska farm. Always had some of my best childhood memories visiting grandparents, then working some summers during high school at my aunt and uncle's. Drove a 6620 solo, though very briefly, when I was 6. Summer of '93 was my last time there doing work. Operated an 8820, 4450, 4955 and machinery of that ilk. I miss it more than anything as they're retired now, and I eat up all that you ag guys can dish out.

      Yes us and the Rusch’s farm next to each other in a few places. He’s come and taken some drone shots of us last fall and this spring

    It seems like everything was going wrong at the start of this video......and God knows there is nothing "half full" about me.....BUT look at those beautiful blue skies you get to look at while you work! That should make the "grind" better! GREAT video.....and the corn is in the ground....Praise the Lord!

      Yes you’re right on all of that. Had a bit of a bad run there. Just got my tractor back 2 days ago.

    I can't keep track of names, but I like Dad's Indians basketball shirt. Who all graduated in what years? Any of you play basketball or any sport for that matter? Can't imagine you had time.

      @@iversfarms So which high school(s) did you all go to? I graduated in 1972 from Lawrenceville. That's why the Lawrenceville basketball shirt caught my eye. Joe Leighty was in my class, but I don't remember the last year of St. Francisville. Was that 1971? I feel bad for Eli and a whole bunch of other kids that missed their last season of baseball, softball, track and golf.

    Do you guys roll all your bean ground

    • @iversfarms
      @iversfarms  4 года назад +2

      No we don’t. No one in this area does. I’ve heard of guy’s doing it after they emerge to stress them and other guys for rocks but we don’t have a rock problem around here. I do have a roller to pull behind the mower to smooth the yard out but that’s it

      Very minimal. They had a forecast at one time where we thought we were going to have a bunch but thankfully the forecast was wrong. Everything has been as good as we could hope for so far
