Blind Guardian is a German power metal band formed in 1984 in Krefeld, West Germany. They are often credited as one of the seminal and most influential bands in the power metal and speed metal subgenres. Nine musicians have been a part of the band's line-up in its history, which currently consists of singer Hansi Kürsch, guitarists André Olbrich and Marcus Siepen and, since 2005, drummer Frederik Ehmke.
Blind Guardian is a part of the German heavy metal scene that emerged in the mid-1980s. The band was formed in 1984 as Lucifer's Heritage by Kürsch (then also bassist), Olbrich, other guitarist Markus Dörk and drummer Thomas Stauch. Dörk and Stauch both left the following year and were replaced by Christof Theißen and Hans-Peter Frey respectively, who left as well before the end of the year. In 1987, Siepen joined and Stauch returned; under this line-up, which lasted 18 years (the longest in the band's history), the band changed their name to Blind Guardian and released their first album, Battalions of Fear, in 1988. They have since released ten more studio albums, including an orchestral album that was released under the name Blind Guardian Twilight Orchestra.

I really like watching faces when they get confronted with a live 'Bard's song'

I was lucky enough to see them back in 2003 or so, at a small venue seating about 200. Closest thing I've ever had to a religious experience. They performed with the same passion no matter how small the audience was.
That, and their passionate fans really are contaigous, even if you're not really a Guardian fan.

My English at school was quite good, but to be honest I can hardly understand a word of what you're saying, mate. But I like how much you enjoy the music and that's worth a subscription to me!

These 2 songs were from their older catalog - you should also check out some of their newer stuff. "Violent Shadows" is a killer tune if you like it hard and heavy. "Secrets of the American Gods" is a little more on the soaring - epic side.

I would love to visit Scotland for so many years. Still in University so big vacation aint possible right now due to money. I have my family tree back into the 1600s and there was even one Scot that banged into my family. I always say thats why I have a kinda red beard although I have dark hair ;)

You would call that a nat 20 a d20 would simply refer to the dice you rolled and charisma is broken down in various skills. This would be a nat 20 in performance i'd say, I play dnd and I just had to correct that.
