That song is tribute to Ironmaiden Miho bass player and boss of the band is a great fan of Iron. They are the best but live they are more than the best. "Holy War" live ZEPP divercity Tokyo 2020.

This song is a tribute to Maiden, with strong hints of "Aces High". Honestly, if you play them back to back, the girls are faster, cleaner and heavier, which is just insane. Most folks will tell you their live clips are their best, but there is one MV you have to see because it captures a lot of what this band are all about: "When Destinies Align" ruclips.net/video/hLFelI93VkM/видео.html. Nice great reaction thanks. Lovebites are formed 2016 in Tokyo from ex Destrose band members Miho the bassist and composer and Haruna the drummer. The other members are Asami the vocalist and songwriter, Midori the lead guitarist and backing vocals (first guitar solo now she got blonde hair) and Miyako second lead guitarist and pianist and composer . Lovebites are the winners of 2018 in category for best new metal band. They are the best all female power metal band at the moment in the world. Their last album Electric pentagram is nominated for one of the best 20 metal albums for 2020 year. Definitely you have to check more songs from them. From last concert Five of kind in Zepp Diversity Tokyo from this year songs like Thunder vengeance, Signs of deliverance, Rise some hell, Holy war, Dancing with the devil, Swan song, Shadowmaker, Rising, Break the wall, Hammer of wrath, We the United, Edge of the world. All concert is mind blowing stuff. And not in the last place the song Epilogue from their previous concert Daughters of the down from 2019. And yeah they are influenced by 80s metal. Enjoy it.

They have all studied the great historical metal bands going back to Purple and Sabbath, through Maiden, Priest, Metallica, Slayer etc. and I'd say they aced it all. Now they are taking it to another level. A key aspect of their sound is the difference in personalities between the guitarists Miyako and Midori, which you will see if you do more of their videos. Midori is the extrovert and show-off, and badass shredder; Miyako is the introvert, also a great shredder, also a classical concert pianist, and composes most of their music, along with Miho (bass).

You ain't seen nothing yet. Wait to you see their performances. Lovebites are definitely the real deal. I am 75 and grew up with rock and roll. I can remember the tingling in my spine and the goosebumps I felt the first time I heard Chuck Berry & Presley in the 1950s, the Beatles 'Love Me Do', Black Sabbath etc. and when I first heard 'Shadowmaker' (which I think is probably one of the best first single any band has put out) and saw Lovebites in 2017 I felt exactly the same sensations. Something reactors often overlook is that Lovebites members (except for Haruma the drummer) play a full 90 minute plus gig wearing four inch high heels and do not break sweat, not even Haruna. I would put them up against any male metal band and I think they would probably slay the opposition with their techincal ability, songwriting skills and live performance. And no tattoos, no multiple piercings, no ragged jeans and T-shirts, no gurning while soloing, no drug or alcohol problems, just five well-educated, sophisticted women who are also talented musicians at the top of their game and play metal for the love of the music.
In Europe and the US following Heavy Metal is as much about the life style, dress code etc as about the music. What I Iike about Lovebites is that they love the music but do not choose to live the heavy metal/rock and roll live style, especially Miyako who prefers Louis Vuitton to torn jeans and T-Shirt. I can't think of any western concert pianist, like Miyako, who switched to the guitar and then researched the best equipment to give her the heaviest sound, eventually choosing Dean guitars with Fishman pick-ups and a Peavy 6505 amp with an Orange speaker. I love how she can play a Chopin Etude (the introduction to Swan Song) on a grand piano and a few seconds later pick up her Dean and rock out for the rest of the gig.

Hey, Judas Priest, Maiden, Slayer, Metallica those are all big influences on this band, so you are on the right track. Also you said you like dual leads, well then you just met the perfect guitarists, they do it all the time! Like everyone else i will suggest you go the LIVE route, this band is crazy good live, just make sure to avoid any Bloodstock videos, the audio mix is terrible on that show.
Anything from their DVD's Five of a Kind or Daughters of the Dawn should be a good start! Songs -Thunder Vengeance, Holy War, Raise Some Hell, Swan Song, Scream for Me, Epilogue, and the list goes on and on... Enjoy and stay safe.

Lovebites is (mostly) a power metal band but they have influences from Metallica, Iron Maiden, Helloween, Slayer, Dragon Force, Gary Moore, Whitesnake, etc., and they’re developing their own style. I recommend their live performances; they really shine live, especially their latest concert earlier this year “Zepp Divercity, Tokyo 2020”. Other recommended live performances are “Daughters of the dawn”, “Battle in the east”, “Wacken”. Avoid “Bloodstuck” (bad audio). My song suggestions: “When destinies align”, “Hammer of wrath”, “Shadowmaker”, “Holy war”, “Break the wall”, “Rising”, “Signs of deliverance”, “Swan song” (with classical piano), “Scream for me”, “Raise some hell”, “Under the red sky”, and a special mention to “Thunder vengeance” (mind blowing), “Dancing with the devil” (classic rock and bluesy vocals), “Empty daydream” (nice piano and vocals with catchy mid tempo), “Epilogue” (epic power ballad, great vocals, nice piano, scorching old school guitar solos) and “Edge of the world” (epic power ballad, nice vocals, nice guitar solos and song build up)
After several songs they became, to me and many others, currently the best band on the planet.
This is a tribute to Maiden as many said it is also one of their "oh my they are good" songs. Wait until you get to the "oh my I am speechless" and "oh my this is epic" songs, like their ballad Epilogue or the dual guitar overhand tapping in Signs of Deliverance, or the fact that Miyako plays keyboards and guitar at the same time. In general you can't go wrong with any of their songs.

Noticed from thumbnails you watched Band-Maid, should check Nemophila, Mary's Blood, Aldious from all female bands and Unlucky Morpheus as mixed.

I see you have already discovered Band Maid, who are also excellent live. Lovebites play this well live as this is obviously studio audio used to make the music video. You will not be disappointed with further material from Lovebites. They have a few other music videos, some of which have a promotional break in them. As with BabyMetal, Band Maid, live is always better. Please avoid anything from Lovebites, appearance at Bloodstock, as the audio mix is poor, not the ladies fault. Their Tokyo 2020 gig is just balls to the walls amazing. I love their song "Holy war" especially, great stuff.
They wear their influences proudly and that's just wonderful... 80's is back! :D
PS: Avoid their Bloodstock videos... the audio of the recording is just bad (there was a slot change and they played on different stage an hour earlier than they were supposed to and all that... so not recommended.)
Lovebites live is a must!!! Just avoid anything from Bloodstock. Sound is not very good. Try any live from 2020 at Zepp DiverCity Tokyo.
