My Daiso store is 10 mins from my house, which can be dangerous LOL. I haven't been in a while so will probably go this weekend. That cute rose gold toiletry zip case would make a great tech bag for laptop charger, etc. I love the fold up comb and brush, and the flat pack bottles. All are definitely on my must have list. That shop looks amazing! So many great things, I could spend hours in there! I'm coming up to my busy travel season and loving all your great ideas. I have all the combinations of types of travel coming up - 1) international long haul with my son, 5 days only carry-on 2) solo international long haul with checked bag then 3) domestic within the US with only carry-on. I love all the planning!
My favorite thing you showed is the key ring bag. I want to get one and see if I can find a flashlight that fits inside, then attach it to the outside of my purse so I can always find a flashlight.

I like the flat pack containers and purse organizers. I just went into Daiso in LA and didn’t have a chance to fully explore . I have one of those hard sided little cases and I use it for my insulin pens and supplies. I love it! 🥰

Wow, that's a big Daiso! The one in Alameda is tiny, but still has useful things! That mini "suitcase" would also be great for holding electronics/cords or things you don't want crushed. Everything in Daiso is so tempting!
That teeny tiny silky bag is my favorite! My local Daiso stopped carrying them and when I found them at a Daiso further away I bought 4! I use them (I keep two in my purse…I have a couple spares now I guess 😉) all the time for groceries etc. It’s amazing what they hold for how small they pack down. The only thing that could make them better is a cute pattern. 😃
My favorite store!!! When I lived in Cali, I went every week and could never leave without spending usually over $50. I'm on the east coast now and the closest one is in NJ. I am going to have to fly to NJ just so I can shop at Daiso again.
Yes the color of the kislux is beautiful and it is a great decision, maybe one day they will add feet and straps. It would be nice to have a bigger bag during the colder months when we have to store gloves, beanies, scarves, etc…
Okay first of all I just love Daiso and have been in love with this store from back in the days when I could only get to in Hawaii and would spend way to long in that store! but I have never seen such a big store as the one you were at in this video! I wanted to just jump right in! I loved so many things you pointed out that I can not pick a single thing out... It is just overwhelming but all the containers and bags are hard to pass over! Thanks for the rip to Daiso Japan... I will have to make an effort to visit that particular store!
You two are a hoot! Funny enough I’ve been using Daiso stuff for my carry-on travel for a few years (I’m in Canada). They’re fantastic! Especially the little soy sauce bottles in the Bento box section (see 5:27) they are great for minimizing your liquid toiletries & don’t leak! Various sizes, even as small as 6mls. Diaso also has a syringe kit to fill them. Lastly, the little plastic jars in the beauty section for creams, are great too. Some are as small as 1 side of a contact lens case. All perfect for your TSA liquid bag.

We have a Daiso across the street. That tiny little grey bag is the best. I have 3 of them. It is so tiny, it takes up no space and is ready when I need it! It was fun to see what you found, I wonder if all of the Daiso stores carry the same products?
Could not believe that little purse organizer was on $1.75! So very worth it! I have heard that the Daiso near me is one of the largest. I just found out today that their HQ is only 7 miles from my house!
That's my sort of shop, I could be in there for hours - hope they have a cafe and bathrooms! - , but I've never heard of it so I guess we don't have them in the UK. Love the mesh organiser bag - great for maps and tourist guides, or for the paperback novel and clip on light on the journey - and the big purse organiser, lovely to put in a tote bag . You got some great finds. I have to be careful about big bags and long handles - I'm quite short, holding a big bag in my hand means it hits the floor - I've often had to reject a bag that I really like for that reason. . You plan for most eventualities when you're out and about - I do the same - one of my best items is a pair of small scissors that fold into themselves and hang on my keyring. Position the open blades in a certain way and push and they slide inwards to close and the blades can't cut you.. I have combs, from a budget shop, that have 3 rows of sturdy teeth - I bought three - one in use,, one in the travel pack, one in the hospital emergency holdall. This video was great fun, I enjoyed "shopping" with you and your friend. Nothing like a successful shopping spree. E❤

Not inclined to make the trip, I cater well for myself so far. I don't do online shopping. But there is one thing in your video that I liked - the fake airplane window scene of a tropical beach. If there were two or three different scenes I'd like to frame them to look like airplane windows and put them alongside my bath - have a good soak, and a cocktail, and pretend I'm elsewhere. E❤

Well, if you ever happen to fly to the San Francisco Bay area, you should go to Union City, which is about 30 minutes south, and the largest iso store in the United States is here😊💕
I went to my first Daiso while visiting Vancouver, Canada. I was limited by suitcase size, so could only buy a few items (which may have been a good thing!). I’ve learned that there is a Daiso a couple of hours drive from me. I’m hoping to plan a trip to visit a friend and make a Daiso detour. No limit to what I will be able to buy! However, I probably should set a dollar limit, just to be safe. :)

OMG, I LOVE that post it note booklet!! That would be so useful. I'm always forgetting to bring them with me. I like to mark the pages of the hymn book before the church service starts so I'm not fumbling around through the service. I have a mini suitcase like that from Away, but it was something ludicrous like $60, not under $5 like yours! I have mini sewing kits and contact kits like yours (my contact kit has only 1 case, but that's all I need - just to have a prepared case with solution in it in case my lens falls out while I'm out and about. BTW, I have quite the collection of silk scarves from your links, but would like one for that merino wool one if you got it online. Ta!
Our AHG troop does a Christmas parade most years that ends up after dark. I wonder if we could use the tape light to help decorate and light us up better.
Yes! It’s pretty small and runs off of a standard USB battery that you would charge your phone with so you could fit the charger in your pocket and light up your costume. I did this last Halloween and it was really great.! Plus it’s tape so it’s flexible😊
I have the exact same sewing kit (in black) which I bought at Japan Home (which is a local version of Daiso). The folding brush you showed last, I have the same thing but one I got as a freebie in one of the airlines I flew in. Both items are in my EDC. Tbh, 🎉I have a love-hate relationship with Daiso. I love shopping there, but I hate that I have weak willpower and end up buying stuff I don't really need. XD
I live in Southern CA and the Daiso that I have driven by usually has a line out the door waiting for their turn to get in. So I have never been inside.
The closest Daiso to me is 4,000 km away. So sad there is not one within striking distance! I really miss the hyaku yen stores in Japan, so much more fun than our dollar stores,
I loved the one we had near my apartment in Miyazaki. I still have the tiny Shogatsu ornaments I got there, including the little statues of the 7 prosperity gods.@@TheoryofSimple
I recently discovered we have a Daiso in VERY close proximity to my house and this video is MUCH more exciting to watch since then. I bought one of those LED keychains that look like a lantern and the bottom kept coming off when clipped to my purse (And thus a battery would fall out). In addition the light was RED. SO I don't recommend them.
I’m so happy you found a Daiso near you ! Yes, you do have to be careful with what you’re buying there and you’re not going to get necessarily the best quality items, but I have found most things to be reliable. However, I do avoid the electronics.💕😊
I like your ideas. I was thinking someone who likes to travel cook could put a lot of salt, pepper, and spices in serving size for a week's worth of recipes or how ever they'd want to organize their travel spice rack.

That teeny tiny silky bag is my favorite! My local Daiso stopped carrying them and when I found them at a Daiso further away I bought 4! I use them (I keep two in my purse…I have a couple spares now I guess 😉) all the time for groceries etc. It’s amazing what they hold for how small they pack down. The only thing that could make them better is a cute pattern. 😃
I have several now too! You never know when they will stop carrying them! 😊
My favorite store!!! When I lived in Cali, I went every week and could never leave without spending usually over $50. I'm on the east coast now and the closest one is in NJ. I am going to have to fly to NJ just so I can shop at Daiso again.

Yes the color of the kislux is beautiful and it is a great decision, maybe one day they will add feet and straps. It would be nice to have a bigger bag during the colder months when we have to store gloves, beanies, scarves, etc…

Okay first of all I just love Daiso and have been in love with this store from back in the days when I could only get to in Hawaii and would spend way to long in that store! but I have never seen such a big store as the one you were at in this video! I wanted to just jump right in! I loved so many things you pointed out that I can not pick a single thing out... It is just overwhelming but all the containers and bags are hard to pass over! Thanks for the rip to Daiso Japan... I will have to make an effort to visit that particular store!

You two are a hoot! Funny enough I’ve been using Daiso stuff for my carry-on travel for a few years (I’m in Canada). They’re fantastic! Especially the little soy sauce bottles in the Bento box section (see 5:27) they are great for minimizing your liquid toiletries & don’t leak! Various sizes, even as small as 6mls. Diaso also has a syringe kit to fill them. Lastly, the little plastic jars in the beauty section for creams, are great too. Some are as small as 1 side of a contact lens case. All perfect for your TSA liquid bag.

We have a Daiso across the street. That tiny little grey bag is the best. I have 3 of them. It is so tiny, it takes up no space and is ready when I need it! It was fun to see what you found, I wonder if all of the Daiso stores carry the same products?

That's my sort of shop, I could be in there for hours - hope they have a cafe and bathrooms! - , but I've never heard of it so I guess we don't have them in the UK. Love the mesh organiser bag - great for maps and tourist guides, or for the paperback novel and clip on light on the journey - and the big purse organiser, lovely to put in a tote bag . You got some great finds. I have to be careful about big bags and long handles - I'm quite short, holding a big bag in my hand means it hits the floor - I've often had to reject a bag that I really like for that reason. . You plan for most eventualities when you're out and about - I do the same - one of my best items is a pair of small scissors that fold into themselves and hang on my keyring. Position the open blades in a certain way and push and they slide inwards to close and the blades can't cut you.. I have combs, from a budget shop, that have 3 rows of sturdy teeth - I bought three - one in use,, one in the travel pack, one in the hospital emergency holdall. This video was great fun, I enjoyed "shopping" with you and your friend. Nothing like a successful shopping spree. E❤

Not inclined to make the trip, I cater well for myself so far. I don't do online shopping. But there is one thing in your video that I liked - the fake airplane window scene of a tropical beach. If there were two or three different scenes I'd like to frame them to look like airplane windows and put them alongside my bath - have a good soak, and a cocktail, and pretend I'm elsewhere. E❤

I went to my first Daiso while visiting Vancouver, Canada. I was limited by suitcase size, so could only buy a few items (which may have been a good thing!). I’ve learned that there is a Daiso a couple of hours drive from me. I’m hoping to plan a trip to visit a friend and make a Daiso detour. No limit to what I will be able to buy! However, I probably should set a dollar limit, just to be safe. :)

OMG, I LOVE that post it note booklet!! That would be so useful. I'm always forgetting to bring them with me. I like to mark the pages of the hymn book before the church service starts so I'm not fumbling around through the service. I have a mini suitcase like that from Away, but it was something ludicrous like $60, not under $5 like yours! I have mini sewing kits and contact kits like yours (my contact kit has only 1 case, but that's all I need - just to have a prepared case with solution in it in case my lens falls out while I'm out and about. BTW, I have quite the collection of silk scarves from your links, but would like one for that merino wool one if you got it online. Ta!

Our AHG troop does a Christmas parade most years that ends up after dark. I wonder if we could use the tape light to help decorate and light us up better.
Yes! It’s pretty small and runs off of a standard USB battery that you would charge your phone with so you could fit the charger in your pocket and light up your costume. I did this last Halloween and it was really great.! Plus it’s tape so it’s flexible😊

I recently discovered we have a Daiso in VERY close proximity to my house and this video is MUCH more exciting to watch since then. I bought one of those LED keychains that look like a lantern and the bottom kept coming off when clipped to my purse (And thus a battery would fall out). In addition the light was RED. SO I don't recommend them.
I’m so happy you found a Daiso near you ! Yes, you do have to be careful with what you’re buying there and you’re not going to get necessarily the best quality items, but I have found most things to be reliable. However, I do avoid the electronics.💕😊
I like your ideas. I was thinking someone who likes to travel cook could put a lot of salt, pepper, and spices in serving size for a week's worth of recipes or how ever they'd want to organize their travel spice rack.
