So often half orcs are one of the races I see with the "tragic homelife" backstory (to some degree), the idea of a half orc barbarian who is just a moody teenager with pretty good parents sounds fun.
I mean, having any character with parents who are alive *and * with a good loving relationship it's in itself something super weird and wholesome in dnd PC, let alone if said PC visit them in a regular basis... The fact that it's a teenager Half-Ork it's just the cherry on top
Just shows teens are teens no matter who the parents are😂
In this comic series, he tries to impress his adventuring party with his, "Sad, tragic backstory," only for his parents to blow his cover.
They even made him bundle up for a quest in the snowy mountains, even though they had cold resisting potions.
Watching this and all i can think of is
"My mother was an orc, my father was a very Ballsy halfelf."
Wait the dad is a half-blood? And not only that but a Knife ear?

While I’m not a fan of the new canon changes made by WC, I’ve always been a fan of creative half-orcs backstories that defied expectations. Had room for some very neat possibilities.
I am new to this, what were those changrs?
@@link199100 For the most part there the same except its only part of the population that are war hungry and rapey. Most of them now live in secluded communitys in the wild away from others that may tar them with the same brush.

@@trollking000 I’m pretty sure that are actually two different types of orc: Mountain Orcs, and Grey Orcs. Mountain are the much dumber and more violates pig looking orcs, while Grey orcs actually came to Faerun via a portal and are the ones you see a picture of in Volo's
@@anthonybernard8819 I can't find any mention of pig like orcs online, but i may be wrong either way its up to the players and the DM to shape there world and that half the fun.

Just accept it, you might have grown to be a rage filled barbarian but you'll always be a grumpypants to your parents.
I mean your mom is an Orc and your dad is a human, that is a telltale sign of a wholesome relationship.
I will assume they meet each other during their adventures and then later settled down as a happy couple.
Just embrace the happy energy, they take you seriously but they just don't show it because where's the fun in being serious.

@@trla6505 you mean half orc. You can't really be a class. You can be multiple classes, just not half a class.
Only way I can think you'd be half a class is if you only got half the features on level up.

@@fanficlover hey, kinda like Abserb form puffing forest, a character that multiple class all the clases but only has the worst of it, "a fighter that can't fight, an archer that can't shoot, a wizard that can't cast spells, etc" sounded fun

Even with losing his head of hair at the top, the Dad still grew out what hair he could for his braid.
I love these kinda things...reminds me and gives me ideas of how to create my next dnd characters and reminds me of my old paladin...who was raised by necromancers...but that's a story for another day

Do not let that dog lick up the trail of viscera and gods know what that boy just trailed in. I realize some dogs will happily eat shit, but that is arguably not an adequate comparison of how vile that is. Make Mr. Grumpy Pants come out and clean up after himself, and maybe he'll remember to wipe his feet before coming back into the house next time.

His parents was veteran adventurers like adamantine rank and experience life-death adventures. They were in love and started a family together. Mr. Grumpyants think they not taking him seriously but they were taking him seriously as loving parents.
