Another one bites the dust American countess to the scrapyard end of a riverboat era.
Hi Jason. Ok, now you've done a myriad of different "trips" on various vessels at this point. And you'd never know if the trip you are on, is or is not your cup of tea. I can always count on your reviews to be "Entertaining, Informative, and Teddy Bear Approved !!" And not "bent" because the trip is not "in your wheelhouse," so to speak !! I would not call you a travel traditionalist. Which is a star in your favor.
I try to be objective while still evaluating fairly, so I really appreciate that. Thanks again!

We're currently on the Countess. We started our 3 week journey in Pittsburgh, PA on August 15, and will end our journey in Minneapolis, MN tomorrow. The entertainment staff, Emma, Nick, and Michael were on with us the first 2 weeks and were incredibly talented. A mentalist was brought in one night (I highly recamend seeing him). The staff were all amazing!!

Sailed on the Countess in May 2021 from New Orleans to Memphis and we had a wonderful time. I would enthusiastically recommend the experience including the comfortable accommodations and superior entertainment except for the fact that the boat is currently being scrapped. Just crazy!
