I love the gun. It's one of my favorite guns in which I can't use a 1.5 scope. Yes I'm very successful with my traps but highly enjoy the gun. It makes Kapkan and Azumi more reliable operators.
The one I've been waiting for!! Love Kapkan!! Appreciate this one buddy. A little trick I use is to barricade the door frame and remove it straight away, the bit of barricade left around the door frame is thick enough to provide a little extra cover to the traps. Great video as always!
Kapkan is one of the trap ops that we celebrate or cheer whenever it hits or even kills enemy, and in my head a opera music is playing in every kill of it 😂

Put them in the main hallways where you can barricade like you did on Border, Favela has one on the first floor, Coastline has one on the second floor, Chalet has one on the first floor, Cafe has one on the first floor, etc... oh yeah Villa and Nighthaven outside the kitchen towards the main entrance too, good video man!

The more you play the more you know obvious paths and angles. I personally like placing traps on the "going around" paths. These are roundabout (kinda) routes around plants, where attackers are rushing to get to your back. Then traps are working not just for killing, but for notification also, you can hear even if a trap was shot, if it was from your back side, you will be prepared.
Another great one on bank is downstairs on the door that is connecting garage and white stairs. It’s pretty dark area and the kills are absolutely guaranteed towards the end of the round
As a main Kapkan player... WHY is he banned so much these days? I remember a time when the Standard ban was Caveira and Clash on defence. These days, i out of 10 games Kapkan is banned... i'm getting mad!
Because he's one of the few operators that can leave utility then do whatever he wants whilst still having a chance of getting a kill for free essentially. In higher ranks he's barely banned but I know on console in lower elo he's banned so often.
another way to think about trap placements is if use your teams positioning to place them like if your team is holding from one angle use that to place your trap because if they look at the trap and shoot your team mate knows they are there and they might get a kill but if he fights your team mate he might not see the trap and you will get a freebie or lower them enough for you to kill them

Idr seeing that in previous vids. Just wanted to call attention to it incase its something thats went unnoticed / needs fixed.

Always down to learn new Kapkan traps. I did use his normal Black one's because they are darker. But since you're saying that the Elite version blend in more. I might just switch it to that. (I have Every Elite in the game...)
I feel that coastline is a big vast map that it needed more kapkan traps guide. But overall this video is just a hidden gem 💎 and it has lots of good information for how to get them kills
You're giving away most of my spots, but I still got a few. Lol However elite Kapkans are Ten times easier to see than the regular ones so I have to disagree when you twice make the statement to run the elite ones.
I can't quite remember right now but it was one of the first ones released and I don't think you can get it anymore. May have been part of an early battle pass?
We need more kapkan guides. He's definitely an S tier operator even in diamond, it's just people don't place traps properly.
