I personally think we are getting a Season 2. At Glitch X last year, Liam stated that the first season was helping him and the team sort of get a grasp of what they wanted to show to be as a whole, so most likely we will get an announcement at Glitch X this year as a surprise for Season 2! Most likely it may come in 2025 or 2026! Also before TADC released their banner said Murder Drones "Season 1" out Now! Meaning a season 2 is slightly being teased! Lastly, I honestly dont think as a storyteller myself, they will be able to close up all loose ends in these final episodes. Most likely something will happen or be revealed to guide towards a cliffhanger for a Season 2! P.S with Meta Runner they didn't put Season 1 in their titles, until Season 2 released, so most likely they'll do something similar with MD. And if Liam is supposed to be at Glitch X this year, I think a Season 2 reveal is HIGHLY likely! Don't give up hope yet! P.S: Episode 7 just gave us a BUNCH more questions to answer and I dont think they'll be able to do it in 1 episode, as it showed the planet was destroyed, so it could be that the others escaped and think Uzi is dead!

In a post on GLITCH's Community tab the one where it seems like they teased nori and yeva the text above says something along the lines of, "I hope your ready for the final episodes of murder drones season one because its ready for you" So hopefully this adds something
I seriously hope you're right because I feel like that GLITCH would've said something about how there wouldn't be another season after the 8th and final episode of Season One during either Glitch X or even in the community post or hell even in a special video talking about it. Don't even get me started on how some of the earlier teasers for the first episode and the show as a whole on RUclips refer the current season as "Season One" and not a miniseries. No offense, but I am legitimately getting sick and tired of hearing people go on and on about how the show is canceled (eventhough nobody from GLITCH or none the voice actors or hell not even the other folks working on Murder Drones has even officially said anything about the show being canceled) because if the show really was canceled, people would've already known about it by now because like I said many times in the past that if there was only going to be eight episodes then the current season would've been advertised as a miniseries and not Season One. I will be happy even if it means waiting 1 episode of season 2 every year. I do want a season 2 because I love the show so much and love to see more of it. BUT with how the story is I definitely see it doable that it will be well wrapped up in episodes 7-8. The story is really well done and any loose ends will for sure be tied up in the final episodes especially since the story is pretty concrete. No matter what Murder Drones is one of the greatest shows I’ve seen and I’m happy and glad as hell to be a part of this fandom
That's a good point, I can't imagine how the series would continue after the first season, it would be very boring and I would bet that it would take away that touch of suspense and good story writing
True, it seems like all loose ends could be wrapped up in one episode, BUT. In episode 7, we see that the planet is slowly collapsing. Once the remaining drones leave the planet for good, there are other planets with other Worker Drones, so that opens up a potential for season 2 with the independent Worker Drones and the dangerous Murder drones get introduced to a new colony, alongside fighting aganist humans.
I personally prefer to keep this question until the last two episodes air but considering that Glitch keeps calling it "Season 1" then theres a chance.
You forgot to mention that from the very begining this season was refered to as "season 1", by not only Glitch but Liam Vickers as well. Even after Digital Circus was released, the trailer for episodes 7 and 8, was described as "the season finale", meaning that they always intended to make more season, so unless something major changed in the last 3 months, we will probably get a second season, but it'll probably take more than two years. Also, in the announcement of TADC, they literally couln't fit any more text because of Twitter's character limit. It's not even grammatically correct.
if we do get a season 2(which they did say season 1 trailer for a bunch of stuff) it wont prolly come out till 2026 or 2027 it would be crazy if we do get a season 2 in 2025 or 24 (edit - Just finished the video and hear him say the same idea in 2025)

While I have been worried over the phrasing in TADC trailer description it should be noted that previously they've referred to the current episodes of Murder Drones in pretty much always as being season 1 with 8 being the season finale. I think that's fed into concerns that there were initially plans for a potential continuation that isn't happening now. I honestly hope that whether or not Murder Drones ends in 1 season or more that it's ultimately decided by where Liam wants the story to end rather than funding drying up or being diverted.
The fact they used N to promote the Glitch INN is in my mind means we can see so much more of the drones, If the loose ends are somehow tied in 8 I could live with that.... HOWEVER, I still believe the potential for more badassary to happen.
All I know about season 2 of Murder Drones, it's not happening (at least, for now). The main reason why season 2 of Murder Drones is not happening anytime soon because Liam Vickers has unfinished business to do (such as Cliffside, Let's Split Up, and Intercection Cube for a example) after he's done working with Glitch Productions for the last two episodes of Murder Drones (season 1), while Glitch Productions has to work with GooseWorx and PartTimeSeagull for the rest of The Amazing Digital Circus series and The Gaslight District series. Once Glitch Productions is done working with GooseWorx and PartTimeSeagull for the rest of The Amazing Digital Circus series and The Gaslight District series, Glitch Productions will go back to work with Liam Vickers for Murder Drones season 2, and season 2 of Murder Drones will probably be released in 2027. I would be devastated if Glitch Productions and Liam Vickers decides to discontinue Murder Drones after episode 8. Because Liam Vickers hates happy endings, which is very heartbroken as fuck!😭💔
if they do create a season 2, i don't think it could follow everyone on copper-9. i think that it would just have to focus on a new set of worker/disassembly drones. episode 8 is definitely going to wrap every part of the story up, and i don't know how it could continue on when uzi (and possibly n) inevitably dies.
im in the process of forcing my cousin and brother to watch it and im making a cosplay for uzi that im going to post so I think im doing my part in making the community more known. i also think there will be a season two just after a long break.
I don't think the example with Sunset Paraidse apply here as it was always planned to be 1 season since it's directly tied to the SMG4's lore (Meggy going on a vacation) while Murder Drones is a complete seperate show and universe.
I mean I kinda believe that tadc did make md end because before glitch x and tadc the glitch channel posted something like “are you ready for the final episodes of season 1 for murder drones cause they’re ready for you.” And now they don’t mention final episodes of season 1
We probably won't hear anything until the point where they're already set to start uploading the episodes. Also the seasons not over yet, ofc they're not announcing anything for a season 2. Glitch is a indie studio as well and I think that gets lost on people beyond the initial "oh this animation is done by an indie studio? Cool" and proceed to basically forget that fact when it comes to anything else and it sorta confuses me
Yeah, even I know a studio like Glitch isn't going to be recording episodes ahead of time. They're probably still trying to get episode 8 done and haven't even started planning out the general plot for season 2 let alone storyboard the first episode for season 2. We won't get any confirmed news about a second season until they at least have a general idea for the season's plotline.
I have high hopes for MD to get another season because of the love the show has it'd be a sad day for me and my brother who adore this series so much but whatever they decide to do i have complete respect for and doesn't mean i wont stop watch MD over and over again. I have a feeling that Murder Drones will get the Sendokai Champions treatment (good series btw) it had just 2 season due to Kotoc working on other projects , and now almost 10 years later its getting a continuation soo there is hope i am among those who has waited thos 10 years
I think there will be no season 2 for murder as you say in your video murder drones does not include in the titles of these S1 episodes to let it seem like there will be a season 2 more watch as we move forward. each episode and to say that the fans of MD say that the community will be dead it would greatly surprise me example watching Steven universe or adventure time the series are all finished but there are still fans that's all to say that the series is not going to die, it and its community and that the series will end on 1 Season after just knowing theories and speculation ^^

Since TADC is popular the 288 million views could also bring them to MD if it gets recommended since both are from GLITCH. Last time a checked the md pilot I saw 30 million views. Now it’s up to 40 which means both can co-exist together with no flaws (hopefully) Glitch also mentioned a show called gas station (idk the rest)
i think we might get a season two- if you look at all of their trailers, one or a few of them are labeled with " Season 1 " or something like that- it may be possible, but i won't leave the fandom even if there's only one season or so
After watch episode 7 I do think there will be a season 2, unless episode 8 will be like 1 hour long. There are just to many things to wrap up, but then again I don't know.
Main thing being what the fuck caused Copper 9 to explode after Uzi got pulled down? Because I did not see her using a Null blast nor would Cyn have done it herself right after grabbing Uzi. Plus there's the whole thing of Cyn still needing to be stopped even if Copper 9 got blown up. A 20-30 minute episode is not going to be able to cover the loose ends still left over, and honestly not even sure an hour would be enough to even attempt a speedy wrap-up.
Just gonna say this I’m new to watching a mature I started like a couple months ago but I really hope for a season two and I don’t care if it’s labeled season one or two. Just hope there is a season two.
This is why my own Sanity is slowly being lost... But............ I think it won't since this guy will cool my own brain and my own Self I loved Robots Since Wall-E or Tex the THX robot years ago and to me personally MD showed how much my love for robots has come this far in life from Wall-E to now

Note episode 7 name is not confirmed yet its may not be final destination this isnt canon the name may be different

I don't think the example with Sunset Paraidse apply here as it was always planned to be 1 season since it's directly tied to the SMG4's lore (Meggy going on a vacation) while Murder Drones is a complete seperate show and universe.

I mean I kinda believe that tadc did make md end because before glitch x and tadc the glitch channel posted something like “are you ready for the final episodes of season 1 for murder drones cause they’re ready for you.” And now they don’t mention final episodes of season 1
We probably won't hear anything until the point where they're already set to start uploading the episodes. Also the seasons not over yet, ofc they're not announcing anything for a season 2. Glitch is a indie studio as well and I think that gets lost on people beyond the initial "oh this animation is done by an indie studio? Cool" and proceed to basically forget that fact when it comes to anything else and it sorta confuses me
Yeah, even I know a studio like Glitch isn't going to be recording episodes ahead of time. They're probably still trying to get episode 8 done and haven't even started planning out the general plot for season 2 let alone storyboard the first episode for season 2. We won't get any confirmed news about a second season until they at least have a general idea for the season's plotline.
I have high hopes for MD to get another season because of the love the show has it'd be a sad day for me and my brother who adore this series so much but whatever they decide to do i have complete respect for and doesn't mean i wont stop watch MD over and over again. I would just love to see the decision between N and Uzi for their relationship before it ends is all I will say.

They didnt give up on Meta Runner which got 20x less views than murder drones so im pretty sure Murder drones will get a second season.

I have a feeling that Murder Drones will get the Sendokai Champions treatment (good series btw) it had just 2 season due to Kotoc working on other projects , and now almost 10 years later its getting a continuation soo there is hope i am among those who has waited thos 10 years

I think there will be no season 2 for murder as you say in your video murder drones does not include in the titles of these S1 episodes to let it seem like there will be a season 2 more watch as we move forward. each episode and to say that the fans of MD say that the community will be dead it would greatly surprise me example watching Steven universe or adventure time the series are all finished but there are still fans that's all to say that the series is not going to die, it and its community and that the series will end on 1 Season after just knowing theories and speculation ^^

I hope md get a season two, i got interested of glitch production because md c1ught my eye from the very first episode, i watched episode 7 the day after it released because a friend has a bitthday but i watched it and was fully interested in it, i even yelled UZI NO when she let herself in the abyss
Since TADC is popular the 288 million views could also bring them to MD if it gets recommended since both are from GLITCH. Last time a checked the md pilot I saw 30 million views. Now it’s up to 40 which means both can co-exist together with no flaws (hopefully) Glitch also mentioned a show called gas station (idk the rest)

there was a season 1 banner for md one time i forgot which episodes at the time were up with the banner but i think 3 or 4
i think we might get a season two- if you look at all of their trailers, one or a few of them are labeled with " Season 1 " or something like that- it may be possible, but i won't leave the fandom even if there's only one season or so

After watch episode 7 I do think there will be a season 2, unless episode 8 will be like 1 hour long. There are just to many things to wrap up, but then again I don't know.
Main thing being what the fuck caused Copper 9 to explode after Uzi got pulled down? Because I did not see her using a Null blast nor would Cyn have done it herself right after grabbing Uzi. Plus there's the whole thing of Cyn still needing to be stopped even if Copper 9 got blown up. A 20-30 minute episode is not going to be able to cover the loose ends still left over, and honestly not even sure an hour would be enough to even attempt a speedy wrap-up.
Just gonna say this I’m new to watching a mature I started like a couple months ago but I really hope for a season two and I don’t care if it’s labeled season one or two. Just hope there is a season two.

If there will be no season 2, people will be still very angry on glitch which will end up by slow death of glitch and someone who will try to replicate murder drones will succed. Yes, someone will continue them eventualy just so he can be happy (the new creator of murder drones) and that we are happy and not leaved behind forvever. It will really break glitch because murder drones are very popular and the amazing digital circus is too. They should just make 1 episode of murder drones per year until they don't make the system for this
