- Yes I agree that this thumbnail is top tier. I know special attackers are loving this new patch but I gotta say Azumarill might be the secret winner of this one. Aqua Tail is SO GOOD right now. Honestly, I think cram won this patch. The cooldown emblems absolutely break dive air slash. You can do so much, shell bell recovery makes you actually unkillable. It's insane. Edit: also we still need that video on cram cdr

Brah they found one cool thing about cram and got rid of it the wall hop if you target the lily pad you would just jump the wall
Azumarill also gets a bit of value from Red Emblems, You can hit the Attack Frames earlier on notable Levels with just three Emblems for the 2% boost, First increasse on 6 instead of 7 and the last on 12 instead of 13, This allows you to get them a while befor first Drednaw and Zapdos spawn... It won't get value from Crit Emblems and you can still reach the 4% Attack Increasse with Orange so you won't miss out on anything else as far as Offense goes... (All of this is assuming Muscle Band)
I know this game has its balance issues, but I love that they give so many pokemon their turns in the spotlight. I just need them to make garchomp good. One time.
I don’t know what’s goi g on but I have been using garchomp and averaging 20 kills and over 100,000 damage
@@philipburke9287 he struggles really hard at higher level play, he's just outclassed. Like anyone can still do well with him and I'm scared of a good garchomp but he sees a really low pick rate at higher levels and tournaments because other all rounders just do what he does but better. Which sucks, cause he's so much fun. He's my personal go to all rounder
Garchomp was looking good for like a second when they buffed dig with the defenses bonus. Then they nerfed it immediately. I personally think Garchomp is conceptually bad and will never be good unless they either insanely buff him or rework something about how his kit works. I mean they buffed ALL of his moves pretty significantly (then nerfed dig but still buffed it overall) and he's still so bad. He's only good against stationary targets and then only if he's not getting cc'd which is just not happening. Other than that his Unite is good. If you can actually hit it.
@@philipburke9287 probably either you have a run of good teammates or you're low rank or both. Garchomp is weak even when jungling. If the enemy pokemon don't run into your basics he's completely worthless. Except his Unite which you can easily dodge if you're any good.
@@randomname9723 I think it'd help tremendously if he could just move while he was basic attacking, like char. A speed and defense buff when he reaches full basic attack stacks, too.
The emblems have made so much of a difference in the gameplay and has added so much to the features we already had!! A lot of Pokémon feel strong right now tug the proper Build. My Example Garchomp with Atk Speed Buff and alittle Atk Buff from the Emblems feels great!!
Jake, I've noticed there is no playlist of your Unite tier lists on the channel yet. So if you think peeps would be interested in going through the metas or just having them easy to find, adding them would make us a favor.
i've been spamming aqua tail before the buff and have 600 games
the core build is scope, attack weight imo
weight is better midgame, while scope is best late
they do more damage than muscle band against the substitute doll which has like 10k current hp
you don't actually apply the onhit as fast as an adc does
third item focus or razor claw, because you actually apply the melee slow from range, which helps prevent you being kited and connect your water pulse (the build i prefer still)
your weakness is that your passive/moves can't mitigate burst cc like other all rounders
if aegi or machamp were equal skill level, they can counter you very well by staying inside your atail range

@@kyoshiro8220 she was before and still is, I used her probably 50 times before the buff and did great
Azumarill seems to finally be in a pretty nice place as far as what it's supposed to do. She seems to really hit hard and take a few hits. Finally good to see.
Aqua tail is so fun but whirlpool water pulse is still my favorite

That aqua tail buff made it a reliable mobility option making up for Azumarill’s slow movement
Before this patch I think I had played Azu like max seven times? I've been playing it non stop with this build since the patch though. Feels so good! And with some black cool down emblems your moves are almost always up. I'm going to switch on Attack weight though for sure

As an avid azumarill player I can absolutely say it won the patch. Its just so much better now it does a truck ton of damage(as it should) and feels like a tank too. I can say for sure that you guys are underselling play rough in my opinion it's better then water pulse . The thing with it is that you can just cycle it constantly with aqua tail and it also makes you able to isolate a opponent especially if they are trying to run which is good because azumarill wants to be in a iso situation
Azumarill main here. Aqua tail will NEVER be better than whirlpool., it's too slow. Whirlpool synergizes with his ult too well and water pulse lets him legit 1v3 if doing well. Play rough is so trash, the movespeed is nice but not worth it.

I love the new Aqua Tail, but I wonder if that old "ignore shields" effect it had was a bug.

I’ve been trying double stacking + focus band lately and I really like it
I really like this moveset. The cooldowns are so low and you can activate them before diving in to get them back earlier in the fight. Getting 2 aqua tail combos is huge
I'm liking play rough a bit more than water pulse but i can see water pulse being better in the end

Hey jake, I think the developers have dropped the hint of a new pokemon in the game.
If u look on the right side of the main menu where the shop and event icons are u can see alcreami clearly and not only that if u will look on the cake on the start menu we can see it there too. This is the only pokemon we have been given this time unlike the Halloween time so i think that alcreami can be one of the 3 September releases.
I would LOVE to have alcreamie😍 so adorbs

I've found Azumarill to be EXTREMELY weak when you are losing. It's very dependant on being ahead a level of two and getting your stacks. It is good at taking advantage of a lead with it's regular unites and significant sustain with the aqua tail healing but if you fall behind you often die before you can even get off your aqua tail attacks. Because if you ever get stunned you die very, very quick to same level enemies without the constant healing from your attacks.
In solo where every game is a dice roll with your lane partner it's not good at all imo because it is also not a good early laner.
I think a pokemon like Venusaur or Charizard just does the sustain/poke build much better even in one on one where Azumarill should theoretically be better.

I’ve been loving Aqua Tail Azumarill since the patch came out!! I used to be a Whirlpool player but these buffs made me enjoy Aqua Tail 10x more!! Just feels so strong! :)

One CDR build you should try is Icy wind Glaceon, once you get enough CDR you never lose Ice crystals

I think what Azumarill needs is a Play Rough rework. Aqua Tail should get the movement boost that Play Rough gets and Play Rough she be a different/better move
Dang y’all now I think imma have to learn Aqua Tail. I’m such a fan or Whirlpool that it’s hard to pick aqua tail. Maybe it comes down to practice to get the full damage. My only issue with Aqua Tail is the whole “empowering the next 3 basic attack” thing it’s got going on. I feel if they really wanted to do something even better is get rid of that whole thing and give it a timer like how flail and outrage work

Jake, if Azumarill's crits deal 1.5x damage, wouldn't hitting 2+ Pokemon always be more overall damage? I mean double is always more than time and a half, right?

Love ya Spragels, but as many other comments state this isn't exactly a huge bump. He is still stuck in the mediocre category because his damage is just meh, he has barely any cc. The only real change is the uptime of his play rough helping him scoot around but he is lacking either a anti-cc, a cc, or true damage.
Honestly, I've played a few zeraora matches. And I think it's absolutely busted. If you take jungle, the damage you output, at least with the emblems I use is insane. My winner is definitely zeraora
What emblems do you use and what item build?
They made it so it is a better 1v1 character but the only thing bad is if there is a bunch up team fight you need to spread one out from the others. They should make it so it attack get double not the crit stuff or make the crit X2 not X1.5. Aqua tail should go thou shield.

Surprisingly Absol is still very playable with Pursuit and crit/atk badges. But Night Slash is so terrible, that has to be the most nerfed move in the game LOL

I used triple glasses and green with black emblem. Still working on the black but i can get 10 kills, not everytime but it does work

You can combine Whirlpool with weakness policy for some good dmg measure.

Azumarill becomes one of the worst ranked pokemon if your team is garbo. Can't stack if you never threaten a tower because your lane mate runs past every spawn and doesnt exp hunt.

The disappointment and betrayal I felt when you said you weren’t stacking second game lol.
I like Azumaril a lot, but imo I don't think Azumarill won this patch, his mobility is still pretty mediocre and his damage is pretty average compared to even Tsareena, let alone Lucario, Aegislash and especially Machamp for the Meta All-Rounder slot.
My biggest gripe with Azumarill's kit is it encourages an All-in Initiator/Team Fighter playstyle similar to the other previously mentioned All-Rounders, but is lacking in sufficient escape mechanisms to save himself in a fight similar to Garchomp's predicament. It's either you go all in or out and never in between, not at all favourable for a Poke with mid-tier right click damage and recovery at best.
He can snowball, but then again the other Meta All Rounder do too, Machamp, Lucario and Aegislash especially cover the same role as an Initiator/Team Fighter and Tsareena as just a pure Team Fighter with loads of sustain and mobility.

It's not only hard to score but it also has terrible scalings, so it isn't really worth it to stack with Pikachu
I'd love to see these youtubers do what they often tell people what not to do. They are a bunch of hypocrites honestly. Don't steal from jungle, they steal, get to the objectives, they farm, don't do something stupid, they go off fighting for no reasons when they should've protected the goals. I mean c'mon!
