- On this adventure I explore a historic Scottish castle ruin en route to a river of interest. I try various techniques and locations to catch a glimpse of Scottish gold.

What a lovely location and a great prospect. You have proven that gold can be found in this burn. Well done 👍
Thanks Daz, I wish there was more gold as it’s such a lovely out the way spot! Great bedrock in this area too but a hard location to find bigger specs. But happy to have learned a diverse amount of techniques to prospect in new locations. Certainly a worthwhile adventure.
That looked a great day out, perfect weather for it too!😎
Thanks Chris, if only Scotland had weather like this more often.
You picked a great day for it, and two wee bits is better than nay wee bits!!! please keep up the content...Just wish I had a car so I could get back out panning. Hey the best bit is though that the midges will be dying aff next month. I'd rather wear woolly socks and extra layers than coat ma'sell in Smidge!!!
Great video buddy keep it up. Are you from the highlands mate? Your accent stands out. Was out thia weekend myself back find shinny. But forgot to film it this time vut another camping and panning trip soon ❤
Thanks man, I was blessed with the weather last week! Great day to take advantage of sniping, the water was still freezing though.
Tell me about it! Scotland could do without midges and tics that’s for sure. Can’t complain about what I found though, never been to this area before so still finding me feet on where’s best to prospect.
I’m from Aberdeen, but always drive out of town to local highlands and have branched out a little further when I’ve had the time. I like to get out the city when I can. It’s a fair bit of extra work filming but nice to make some content if I’m in the mood for it.
