Joyce Toye welcome Joyce. We have a Persian cat called Rug, a Norwegian forestXTabbty cat, he’s a large cat called Hector and then our 7 month old puppy Rolo. They can be made out of any cotton or any material really. I depends where you live as to where you can buy your material from. X
Hello! 😊 I really like to wear such a trousers like this since a year and nowdays it came an idee that i would like to learn a few easy pattern to sew for example a meditation coushin or harem pants. So my very first piece i think will be this trousers and i would like to do all the process with hand. According to your experience will it be hard? Should i start with an easier one?

I had several pairs of these in the 90s, each one a bit different in design. I was sad when they went out of fashion. A few years ago when I started seeing them worn again, I became very excited. I found a gently worn gray pair by Eileen Fisher on eBay and wore them constantly. I wanted black like I used to own and found an inexpensive pair online. When I got them, I was ecstatic. Found a seller on Etsy who custom made them and bought a third pair. Ironically, I want an olive pair just like the ones you have. Unfortunately, I’m not a seamstress of any merit and will have to search for a ready made pair, but yours look fabulous. If I ever find someone to make them for me, I will show them your design. Thanks so much for such a lovely comment. Since I made this video the arthritis in my hands has got worse so I am now buying online. I was wearing my black ones today and I always get asked about them. The dropped crotch is so comfy, I have gained some weight too but with them being baggy the extra inch or 6 inches is not an issue lol.
I look on the bohemian sights, I like the stuff on Etsy but so much comes from America so the taxes make things expensive. Good luck finding them there are many more coming out now.

Hi Ali,just found your channel because i was looking for harem trouser styling,,i wear mine all the time and ive bought some really cheap and really expensive ones over the years,,i wish i could sew because you make it sound so easy,,the ones you showed are exactly the same as the ones i wear except i like the elastic ankles to hoist them up to calf length,,, do you ever sell the ones you make? i would definately buy some off you xxx

Since making this video my arthritic hands are preventing me doing much sewing, I am now doing art work as it’s a bit less stressful on my hands. I also have bought more trousers lately and they cost £20 a pair, to be honest the cotton fabric almost costs that and I can’t compete with mass production. Thanks so much for watching xx
My mum has now brought 3 patterns and still can’t seem to get it right ! Do you have a pattern to buy ? Or could you recommend one

I also don't think that giving sewing advice like "just wing it" to the likes of me is very irresponsible as there would be a lot of fabric going into landfill, well I only wear 100% cotton so I suppose it would biodegrade! LOL
Ali, what star sign are you? I'm an earth sign: Capricorn and since you mentioned you like earthy colours and you have an "earthy" dress style I was just wondering?
