- American professional eater Randy Santel versus Little Yummy's 4kg Japanese Curry Omurice Challenge with a 25 scrambled egg omelette, ketchup fried rice, and hamburger curry at Little Yummy in the Asakusabashi neighborhood of Tokyo, Japan in East Asia!! My girlfriend @KatinaEatsKilos and I left Seoul, South Korea in East Asia and flew to Tokyo, Japan where I attempted 3 huge and delicious Japanese competitive eating challenges around the greater Tokyo metro area. For Japanese food challenge #1, we headed to Little Yummy so Katina and I could each try their popular and massive Japanese Omurice Challenge. Omurice is basically a Japanese omelette rice with ketchup and sometimes there is curry sauce added as well. This is a pay-to-play eating challenge where you can order whatever sized omurice platter you want that is over 3kg (6.5lbs), and you get 45 minutes to finish it. Katina went before me and attempted the 3kg challenge. Because I failed my previous 100 Jumbo Korean Chicken Wings Challenge in Seoul, South Korea, I decided that I wanted to try Little Yummy's 4kg Curry Omurice Challenge and had just 45 minutes to finish 1kg of fried rice mixed with ketchup and topped with 25 scrambled eggs that were all so delicious and flavorful!! The challenge included 3 juicy Japanese style hamburger patties plus 2 sausages and that side of the platter was smothered with ~1kg of Japanese curry sauce that was also extra delicious!! The 4kg challenge price is ¥6,980 Japanese Yen whether you win or lose, and I was just hoping to win and get my name & photo posted up on the Wall of Fame. BIG thanks to our friend John Daub with @onlyinjapan plus everyone with Little Yummy in Tokyo for the wonderful food, drinks, and hospitality!! Special thanks also to all our amazing friends who came up that Tuesday afternoon to watch and meet us!! We appreciate everyone in Japan and around the rest of East Asia who watches videos and supports our hard efforts!!

Hey everyone thanks for watching this first of three Japanese restaurant food challenge videos that I filmed while in the greater Tokyo, Japan area!! For anyone who hasn't watched my 2018 video where I attempted the world's largest Japanese gyoza dumpling challenge in Tokyo that weighs over 2.5kg or 5.5lbs total, here is the link: ruclips.net/video/5o2mAJ_8BXs/видео.html
I would love to see you and Joel Hansen do a collaboration together. I am not throwing hate, but I'm pretty sure that man can beat you at almost any dish. But he's built of something different my friend! But congrats a win is a win! Great job
@@sparkynate91
If you make a comment like that it IS your attention to troll or hate. Any other sincere and nice person would have just written the first sentence.
It's like saying "I'm punching your face but I'm being nice because I could punch much harder".
when hot wings video?
20+ eggs each? I guess you will keep the windows open for a while.. 🙂
RANDY! RANDY! RANDY!
I don’t blame you for a ton of food in Asia. Teddy Bear 🧸 still worry about you for sweating, stomach, knees, stand up and down.
You did great job with everything from around the world 🌍
I think you’ll need break from 6 months to year. But you’re home now. I know you want to break the record for free stuff in restaurants in anywhere.
Remember no vomiting, no eating all day and drink water all day (you’ll go to lavatories if necessary) 😮
See ya next time 😊
I miss Japan. It's been decades since I lived there but the memories are as strong as ever. The beauty of the country is unmatched, the people gracious and once outside the major cities you'll find serenity and a sense of peace that lingers on and on.
Yes I enjoyed it there for sure!! Thanks for watching the video!!
@@RandySantel You're welcome! You and Katina are my favorite power couple!!
I've been here over thirty years--moved from Canada to Osaka--met my wife here. Osaka's more of a business hub, although it has scenic areas, but Kyoto and Nara remain my favorite cities in the Kansai area.
Some of the outskirts are pretty trashed up with no so friendly people. Japan is nice but it isn't perfect. Their declining economy and lowering birth rates are really hurting them. They are in trouble not to mention their suicide rates and unbalanced work hours. No country is perfect!
@@wombat5252really? I knew about the low birth rate and that they work very long hours, but I had no idea there were trashed up areas in Japan! I'm genuinely surprised.
Having been to Japan over 30 times I can tell you the food standards and quality are way more regulated and better than here in the US.
That's not saying much tbh. Our food standards in America are soooo low lol
Been all over the world. I'd say the few countries you aren't more hygienic than are some asian street foods and india. Other than that....
@@wideawakeanimal1 it's like night and day difference. Food in the US is like all junk compare to Japan.
That also goes for europe too, the US is so into processing thats why our foods are pretty much poison to us.
Huge fan of Johns channel only in japan as well as chris’ abroad in japan.
So sweet hearing Katina cheering you on towards the end😁 That was a hard fought victory, and i have to just say that sauce looked....well, interesting🤔
I wonder why Katina has fewer subs than randy, or really any of the guys who do these challenges. She is awesome and deserves as many subs as any of them!
@@mygirldarbyRandy brings the screen presence like few others. Thrill is just as important as skill if not more so. This is no knock on the others. Randy's just a natural entertainer & vibe
@@mygirldarbyKatina is awesome, I dont compare who has more followers. Her videos are a lot of fun too, i was a fan of hers before she ever met Randy.
このお店の横を良く通るんだけど毎回食べたい!って思う。まだ食べたことないけど、Randyさんの食いっぷりがとても気持ち良かった!
Well done Randy you are one of the best I give you credit. You never give up and always challenge yourself.
I believe in you and you are definitely an inspiration to me
Love Japanese curry sauce and love the rice 🍚
ive always wondered what you do after a challenge? you're such a pro that I would imagine you're able to function like a regular person even after eating all this. After the challenge you are still able to go out with John for a few drinks or something right?
😂 flex and immediate pulls the shirt down to cover the tummy. So funny
Damn! Been following you for years…I’m Scottish and live near Tokyo! Please keep us updated where you’re gonna be next - would love to meet you, bro!
Hope to meet you next time we are in the area and thanks for watching our videos!!
Congrats on another victory man! That looked oh so yummy, so jealous!
Hey thanks for watching and yes it was all very tasty!!
The 4kg curry omelette rice made with 25 eggs is great, it's the best👍
Thanks for putting that FYI about Japanese eggs being safe to eat raw before all the poindexters started sounding off.
Delicious looking W Randy!
I think eggs from the USA are the only ones that need to be cooked through and refrigerated as they use chemicals to clean the shell that take off the protective layer
@@chris_sssss lol wtf? no. all commerically sold eggs in the usa are pasteurized which means you can of course eat them raw
@@RoeShamBoethat’s not correct. Eggs still in their shell are typically non-pasteurised, even in the US.
I don't care what you say. Raw eggs are dangerous. It's a passport straight to the toilet.
Hey cheers and yes cookie dough is safe in Japan haha
25 eggs is mad on its own, let alone the rest of the food! I tried a 12 egg cheese and ham omelette with 6 slices of toast once, it was deceiving... I didn't finish it 😂
You survived didn't you, so you're a winner in my book.
😁
Haha even 12 eggs is a lot!! Thanks for watching and all your support!!
I couldn’t do what Randy did, or the omelette you tried either! That’s a ton of food
Paul Newman ate 50 eggs once.
This is just another reason to visit Japan, thte food looks awesome 😊❤
Congratulations on your win Randy hi katina food looks delicious enjoy your day 💕💕
Love these hard challenges. Much more fun to watch than when you dominate challenges. I yelled let's go randy!!! To my tv
Such a pleasure watching you beat that challenge..great job Randy 🙌🏾🙌🏾🙌🏾
Looking good, Randy - you've definitely lost weight! A real inspiration to hard work and still doing what you love! Best of luck in the upcoming challenges mate
Finally in Japan!, lived there for some time and food is absolutely delicious.
Good Job Randy 💪🏻
Round 2 was lots of fun. Japan is great and I appreciate you watching!!
@@RandySantel I enjoy watching your channel, try Yaki Niku (焼肉) when you have the chance.
Great video Randy! That plate of food looked amazing, huge but amazing. Great finish.
Thanks for sharing!!!
Impressive win once again Randy, that was indeed a tough one but it looked delicious, well done!!
I only visited to ride the Bullet Train but i enjoyed my brief stay in Japan with the food.
You say the magic word "Curry" and I'm watching lol. 😛😛☘☘. that omelet and ketchup rice looks like a mountain range in bas relief. .
Hi Randy - I like scrambled eggs, and I like rice, but the flavour fatigue must have been nasty with the quantity you gobbled down. Good Luck with the rest of your tour. Thanks for the video.
Nice work randy. I was thinking you wete going to Tabasco that last bit to get yourself going but you did it.
Love watching you and Katina eat. Gambate
Been to Japan one time food is delicious
awesome job. I knew you could do it. I think you needed a win. Proud of you!
Good job!! You are the wind beneath my wings Randy
Looks so good. Ticket to Japan going to be booked thanks to this video!
Amazing job Randy, really was rooting for you to finish.
it would be cool to see you and Max Suzukie go head-to-head!!
Keep going Santel!!
I love Only In Japan’s channel!
John does a fantastic job and puts lots of effort into each video!!
That’s so much food!! I think the rice would get me. It’s just so much rice! The food looks delicious. 🎉
I love watching your videos. Especially because at this point in time, there's a tossup on whether you will actually finish. There's no shame in that; and I'm not trying to be derogatory. It just makes the videos so much more enticing because I don't know for sure that you're gonna finish everything. Part of getting older I guess. I still root for you to win the challenge. I just enjoy the aire of mystery on whether you will truly dominate or not.
I think you should do collab with tzuyang, love eating
Great results 👏
Great job Randy 💪 glad to see you victorious!
Looked great . congratulations on the win. Best of luck following your dreams.
Congratulations on your win 🏆! You are such a trooper! You really pushed thew! 😊👍💕💕💕

Goooooo Raaannddyyy! Love seeing new videos plus catching old ones.sending so many good vibes your way..i hope things are going good ,i hope n katina n your family are doing good...have an amazing everyday
Great job Randy!! That was a lot of food.
cheese, eggs, and welch's grape! I see what you did there, Randy.
Randy:it’s a pay to play, we have 45 min, let’s dig in!
Staff: 42 minutes actually
You killed it! Another victory randy 🎉😊
Those eggs are perfect! It’s soft scram bro!
Randyyyy! There ya go!! Man, did that all look good. I'm a rice hound and I don't think I could finish it! Congratulations on ANOTHER "W!" On to the NEXT challenge, Brother! God bless.
Hi, Katina!
Looks delicious
Well done Randy!!! Much love and support once again from South Africa!
You never updated your Randy Santel schedule to include these Japanese challenges! I would have loved have to come and seen you because I live in Tokyo, boo!
Great video Randy my friend it looked delicious 😋
Congrats Randy, so proud of you. But it is so obvious to my wife that you are not feeling your best. We both love you young man, so proud of you. Just take care of your health. God bless you and Katina.
Love and prayers ❤🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏❤
Ive been a fan for a long time Randy n Ive seen u conquer massive plates beyond belief but lately ur challenges dont really look too crazy I feel like I could do them..Is it medical condition like u had too slow down but anyway still great content keep working 💪🏾
Katina this Katina that😂. You are in love my brother😅😅😅
Don't worry about the time, you completed the challenge. A tough one but slow and steady wins any race. X
japanese hamburgs are typically a half beef half pork situation. part of the reason why it tastes so good
Love Japan. I actually walked pass this place when I was last there. You can smell the curry from a block away. Wish I had the chance to try the place out now.
Here in Maine, it’s called “hamburg” on a pizza, etc, and only “hamburger” if it’s a patty.
I love Randy but I understand why people are mad about how much he talks during challenges 😮❤ 😂
You did great Randy and I absolutely love the new tshirt! 🥰
A Japanese tour? All for it!
I'm expecting great food! Especially good Daub guided you ^^'
Great win! 4kg is crazy. The eggs looked so darn good! Hope this tour goes well even though your still under the weather a bit
Always good to see Randy still barely finishing some food. Although he's not in his young prime, I still don't wanna see the end of this food challenge titan, bro 😅
I am 6'5" and large boned as my mother always said, i had two burgers for dinner 6 hours ago, i am still not hungry, i have no idea how you tuck the food away, incredible.
Awesome randy!!! Hope you and Katina Enjoyed Japan! Did Katina take you to Yokota AFB?
It’s really crazy that you’re able to eat that much food fr 💪🏾💪🏾💪🏾
This meal is enough for me for 2 days 😁
That guy did 8 kilos? That's RIDICULOUS. I don't even know if Molly would attempt that. Crazy.
Hot dang !! dat omurice looks mouth-watering ~!
Great win randy congrats my friend!!!
This looks amazing 🔥💯‼️
Luv the 😅Channel. Cheers from Newfoundland 😅
Hey thanks for watching!! Any challenges around you that you know of?
@@RandySantel the only two ones that I know of. I think you’ve already did back before 2020 but I’ll be sure to keep an eye out! Cheers!
❤❤❤ You are in my favorite country, and I can't wait to go back
Keep up the great videos
This looks like something I can cook... gonna try it !
Why is Katina looking like Golem at the 3:00 mark..?? 🤣🤣🤣
Way to push yourself!! Love the support team too 😊
I hope you get to Kansai too!
Thanks!
That looks sooooooooooo good
4:27 Pause 😂😂😂
Congratulations, big man. You need to stop killing yourself with these challenges, Randy. Graduate to the Senior's Circuit and stop trying to fight the young bucks. You'll always be a champion.
You may be misrable but great job man...whew i feel heavy to breathe...i feel 4 ya..u n katina just inspire me so.thank u guys for doing what u do...
Beautifull dish. Pleasure as always Randy.
You did it was huge well done Randy 👏 🙌😁💪👌👍
The guy who had 8kilo of food and finished is a beast. 🥶 he looks like he just ate 1/5 of his body weight. How does he digest all of that?
Lol people who eat that much and remain skinny are not digesting the food. If it is too good to be true, it probably isn't.
I love my eggs like that and great job 🎉
That looks freaking tasty
Them Japanese challenges be kicking your behind
I’ll kick your behind!
Tbh, a normal omerice would kick my butt. I love watching the video but no way I could do anything Randy does
Not really. He finished. 4 kgs is 8.8 lbs. It’s a Lot.
He’s past his best -it’s more a marketing Chanel than a serious eating challenger now
*those*
That bacon legit looked raw. Either way amazing job!
Awesomeness!!🤘🏼🔥🔥🤘🏼
That was Awesome Randy that was a lot of food. You did a great job 👏👍💯
That’s incredible.
Had me on the edge of my seat again 😂 It did look yummy 😋 much love to you and Katina ❤️🙏
4kg of food in your stomach is insane plus with all those water and beverage
Awesome awesome job randy 🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
