I live and hunt in Georgia and you hit the nail on the head when you said this Corona makes everyday like a Saturday. There's more people in the woods than there are turkeys. Problem is 90 percent have never Turkey hunted before. Twice this year I was set up on a long beard and had him coming to me when a group of people come walking right up on me like they were walking into a Starbucks and sent that bird to the next county. Worked all my life and dreamed about being retired so I could hunt during the week. Please send these people back to work. I haven't even been back to the woods past two weeks. I've been bass fishing waiting on the fair weather newbies to give up and find a new hobby. I'll hunt'em hard from now till the end of the season. Hopefully I'll get at least one.
I love all your content, from watching you and The Hunting Public it’s helped me with my turkey tactics and thanks to that I managed to call in two gobblers Saturday here in Ky me and my friend pulled off the double. Thanks for all the great info & tips, keep it up Dave!
Thanks for carrying us along with you ! I didn't get up this morning to hunt ( we have a two hour drive to birds) as I need to get some work done... always a regret. Hope you and Sleazy can get one of those GA gobblers to cooperate! Take care and good luck.
I've had atv's drive up to me being set up on a gobbler twice so far this season, a third guy was parked almost directly beneath where a bird was roosted on opening day (after I hiked to the spot from 20 minutes away as to not spook the bird). Meanwhile, I still haven't got my first bird. It's been extremely frustrating. I hope I at least get one gobbler this season.
This video's are helpful. My frustration has got me doubting myself. It helps to see that even the best have tough days in the turkey woods. After I regroup, I am hoping to get back after it and hopefully have some success.
I’m curious to what vest you use because Im in the market for a new one and mine is starting to get tore up and the seat is missing off the dang thing.
They sold out of licenses in MI for a lot of units for the first time ever. They're selling 2-3x more licenses this year in most units than last year. It's a dang zoo on my usual spots.
It sure did here in Oklahoma, COVID turned everyday weekend hunting. I have never ran into so many hunters. Birds are not gobbling at all, if they do they are on safe private property.
I’ve never watched your videos before. I didn’t see any decoys. I didn’t see any ground blinds. I didn’t see the hunting public jack wagons as special guests. Guess I’ll keep watching your content.
This has been the most difficult season I have had in years (SC) and I'm not on public this year. Having hardest time even getting in the game. Legitimately been close one time all season. IDK. Hope you all you guys are having better luck than I am
David Falgout Man I’ve been having the worst season I’ve had in the 27 years I’ve been turkey hunting here in Mississippi, and I hunt private in North West Mississippi and in East Central Mississippi on the Alabama line. Our season ends Friday and birds are still hen’d up. I bet I haven’t heard a total of 20 gobbles total from birds on the ground. I did get lucky last Thursday afternoon and was able to take one. I’m still not giving up until sunset Friday!
Ino How you. Feel. I’ve called in 17 this year not. Shoot they are in so much thick. Stuff and. I don’t no way you can’t see 15 yards but all 40 50 yards. I’ve seen 4 but no good. Shoot woods so Beautiful but they staying in that Dam juggle but going in morning
