Ghosted: Love Gone Missing helps distraught people track down former friends or lovers who suddenly cut off all contact with them. Hosts Rachel Lindsay and Travis Mills meet the haunted and come up with theories about the cause behind the ghosting. Then the hosts look for leads in order to track down the ghost. I get the feeling that leaving Trey and taking off, all began after Austin found out how Trey went behind his back, and yet, not once did he say, I did it because of what you did. He owned he did the wrong thing. Trey instead, immediately justified what he did and tried to blame Austin for everything. Didn’t even have the respect to listen, quietly. Just wanted to jump in and shut Austin down, no wonder he can’t hear, too busy thinking about what he has to say!
I hope Trey learns something from this and that they reconnect .... I hope for Austin’s sake, he sets some clear boundaries because Trey doesn’t know what is right and what is wrong, in this area. I can’t believe he said, I didn’t take the job so there isn’t an issue. Talk about missing the point entirely!

It's easy to see why Austin ghosted without explanation because Trey can't see himself in the wrong at all. It's like no one else has feelings. Explaining would've been futile.

@@Serenitie3 I have two friends who applied for the same job. They found out while in talks with the employer. Friend 1 got it, friend 2 didn't. Half a year later another job opening for the same job and friend 1 notified friend 2. Friend 2 applied and got the job. Now they're carpooling together while playing terrible music from Japanese games and they can't wait to start their day together. Think SpongeBob and Patrick Star-friendship 🤣 Long story short: you can be good friends, apply for the same job and still be good friends and good people.

Austin in that moment that Trey went for the job could see, that the best friend that he could confide anything about, couldn’t be trusted a 100%. As you might agree the one thing keeping him being a best friend. Treys portrayal when confronted by Austin showed a pathetic act of superiority, maybe even some underlying insecurities that Austin triggers in him- therefore why he belittles his choices and brings up the past constantly all whilst lifting himself up. Until Trey does some soul searching and finds out how he can be happy in himself, I hope Austin says ghost and keeps living his best life.
