Can't tell you both how much we appreciate the shout out you gave our channel and so many folks came over to watch our videos. I have gotten over a hundred emails (and probably a thousand subscribers) from your viewers requesting one of our spreadsheets and they all mentioned the "I'm Not Lost I'm RVing" video you put out, and they all wanted to make sure we knew why they dropped by. That says a lot about how they feel about you two and your channel. It is a great community and we are so proud to be part of it and also very happy to get close to our 10,000 subscribers 3 or 4 months early. Very Much Appreciated Bob and Pearl

Loved it! I clicked over here from "I'm not lost I'm RVing". My husband and I live fulltime in a travel trailer and traveled around here and there in the West in our first 2 years and spent quite a bit of money on campgrounds, but we did some boondocking too. This year we came home and are sitting stationary for a year to pay down debt and watch my granddaughter since my son needed help. We hope to get traveling again next year and are upgrading to a fifth-wheel. I am very interested in your info about Thousand Trails. I am going to check that out! Thanks for a great informative video about the costs of fulltime rv living.

I had good friends named Bob and Pearl they RVed all over the USA too, they also used the RV as a tow vehicle for their USAC Midget race cars. Had a lot of good times going to the races in the back of the 1970s RV, when racing ended they retired and up graded to a new RV.

Another helpful video and you are both looking great! I think you two just took your channel up a notch. I really hope people thinking about living this lifestyle find you because you really pulled all the hot-button issues together. Pat and I are still trying to figure out our style and hope to learn a lot more about ourselves the next several months by trying some boondocking. Still planning to catch up with you in Arizona. Safe travels!

    • @JustPassingThru

We always love reading your comments as they are so positive and inspirational (Thanks). We are real anxious to hear how your boondocking goes, we are on the fence with the whole solar thing but I am sure we will go to the desert for a week or so several times boondocking with Jeff and Laurie and with you two but we may just have to run the generator a bit each day. We have done it for a week or more a couple of times in Quartzsite in years past and 2 hours in the morning and 2 hours in the evening works just fine. Winter will be here way too soon enough I am guessing, so we better get ready for it.

I very much appreciate your perspective on full timing from the way you like to travel. Most of the YT travel vids I watch are younger folks with small rigs and modest means, but it is refreshing seeing folks like you who enjoy larger rigs/comfort and have the money to spend. I'm sort of in the middle. I simply don't want to deal with the cost and maintenance of a large rig so I have a small travel trailer and enjoy part timing in state parks and small campgrounds and I will never sell my home nest to travel full time. Different strokes for different folks...but it's always fun to see how other people like to travel both part and full time. Thank you both for your effort in sharing how you are enjoying your lives in your Golden Years. :-)

Thank you for your videos! Just found you. Travelers I can actually follow and learn from. I like other people’s videos too but you break things down for people that would love to do this lifestyle. Can’t get my husband to do it. We did go last year for a year🎉. I think he’s afraid to let go of the house. We did stress over the house and ran back and forth. I would never settle down until I absolutely had to! Too much to see in our beautiful country!

We are excited because I just retired and we can really do extensive research. The thing about us, we have a very heavy anchor. We have 6 kids and 6 grandkids (and more to come). All but one of the kids live within a few miles of us. We see them all the time and they are our world. This is our reason we don't think we could even consider full time. Thank you for sharing your RV journey about the retirement aspect. My wife and I are retired and we have a class A Fleetwood Expedition diesel pusher. We are taking many trips. However, we feel like Patrick McGoohan. When we're gone from our house too long, we get drawn back. It’s wisdom to hear from you about the possibility of spending more may well be connected to your age, your interests, and the drive to do them. I seem to agree based on the many RV videos that I have watched. I am glad you are able to enjoy your retirement with your setup. How possible do you get to spend with other family members when you want to with that kind of living?

I really like your videos. I plan to join Thousand Trails when I go full time. Remember TT is not free, you pay up front, but I think it will be worth it. I want to boondock too.

Hi guys, I love watching your videos and keeping up with your lifestyle. I am a 68 year old widow and I have been a full time RVer for 16 months and loving it. I am commenting on this video because I want people to know that I have been enjoying this life style on my social security income and a small savings account and I have been able to enjoy a free and wonderful life. I bought a teardrop trailer because I could pay cash for it at the time and I have a leased car which made my payments lower and I get regular maintenance at no cost to me. My income is 2,121.00. And most months I am able to put some money into my savings. I am a Thousand Trails member and I couldn't do this on my budget without having that membership. I don't do a lot of touristy things but I do save for certain things I really want to do. This winter is my second in Florida and I made a decision to buy an annual pass to Disney this year which was a major purchase but I don't do a lot of other things during the year so I splurged. I live a really full life enjoying retirement and meeting lots of wonderful people. I live simple but happy!! It can be done on a small budget!!

Great Story and thanks for sharing it, we have had a number of single folks inquire about the lifestyle for single folks and you have given them a lot more information that we could. It sounds like you are enjoying the lifestyle just like it is supposed to be done and hopefully you are motivating folks to realize that it can be done in a lot of different rv sizes and types with different budgets and lifestyles. it is a wonderful adventure.

Great video guys, thanks for the shout out too!😀 You have a lot of awesome info on your channel for anyone seeking the lifestyle, that's how we found you.👍 Pearl, you know Cheryl loves driving Maggie. It's to the point where, sh'e driving more that I am. Of course that means I have to learn how to make lunch while she's driving. LOL

I feel your pain, the main thing I have learned is be careful with the sharp knives while back there fixing lunch.

We started out in June and our goal is to pray for our country in every capitol of the 48...we are at 32 and counting in Arizona on our way to Austin
We are undecided about full time as our RV is home for now...full time is appealing, but our mileage distorts our concept we are over 13000 miles since June 10, with 30 days off in August...we are having fun living on our retirement breaking even with income...we have 5000 miles to go depending on how many stops we encounter with the capitols...we are covered with insurance coverage plus our health plan and missing grand kids....I love the road lifestyle
