This is the 1st of these to show the trap door access panel great job I’ve replaced two rear blower fans now and this round I didn’t have to crack my Freon lines to get access.

Will, show us another video where you break into that bad baby and show how it failed! I find the design of these new devices intriguing, avoiding unnecessary bystander heat from old style resistors.

@@robinsonsauto especially when you explain to the customer one reveal, exposed other repairs needed, most customers may get it, but a percentage don't?, additional repairs revealed require more time, $ money, you can't fix half the problem, and let other part go.

I've always thought those vans were pretty cool. If only they had 4wd...and weren't Nissans. 🤣
Nice job Will, didn't look fun.

That was a weird looking waveform. It didn't look like a simple square wave. It actually looked like a can high and can low, but you only had one control wire connected.

My 30 amp fuse appears to have melted. My guess is that would be WHY the rear AC wasn't working/blowing. Now my hope is that once I replace the 30 Amp fuse, I should be back in business.
My question is, why would it melt, is it toast or prone to melt again and, of course, what part would I need to order to replace this part in the fuse box?

Thank you for sharing your experience! Replacing the fuse is a good first step. It's always best to investigate the root cause to prevent future occurrences. this can be due to the blower motor drawing to many amps, or a short in the circuit wiring. there is other causes however these two are the most probable.
check the air intake to the blower motor for restriction poor air flow can cause a higher load and heat. proactively clean the evaporator and surrounding area

I just bought a 2016 and the back blower wasn't working. I ordered the blower and got new ATM-LP 30 amp fuses. I put the fuse in to test while the fan ships and smoke comes out of the wall in the back. I found out really quick why the fuse was blowing. A capacitor or connection must have melted and started drawing more amps. Definitely smelled like a blown cap though.
