Massive respect to everyone on the team for still sticking with this game!
Peace ! :)
:D
For sticking with mediocrity? Nope.
thriving
@@banzaibadger why are you here then?
Had the feeling they were being way too quiet lately! Freaking sweet!
Well, there was the ominous snowflake tweet ^^
@@BruceCarbonLakeriver I don't use Twitter, wretched hive of scum and villainy
@@DeadBaron Twitter for sure has issues. But if you aren't there how could you know "they are quiet lately"?
I think it's because of the Way Point update chaos
which basically broke the immersion of a lot of people
they put save editor on all saves instead of just putting them in creative mode
which caused many things in the game to break and the feeling of exploring to get something becomes in vain
@@BruceCarbonLakeriver nothing posted to steam in ages until now, they announced events and everything there too
The most impressive part of all of these update videos is always the end:
“More will follow.”
Hello Games continues to deliver. What a story.
(pulsating sting)
Which is crazy considering it used to be Our Journey Continues. So, before it sounds like "we're still rolling" and now it sounds, "we're not done yet".
to me that meant "more players/adventurers will follow (into exploration)" 🤔
like a slogan, not an announcement
“One more thing” a classic
Ah yes, another rather unimpressive ship to grind for, for hours. SO MUCH MORE. Didn't even show the speed of it. Must not be very impressive... Or the game would probably lag.
You guys truly are a staple for other developers to follow. You care so much about this game and it clearly shows. Thank you so much!
When the game launched I told people, that the foundation was there for something truly special. Glad hello games agreed and have kept building on that foundation
I wonder if they will ever make a sequel. They should charge more for the game at least. I'm curious how viable this business model is. Wouldn't it start costing them more than they are making in sales?
Too bad you have to play 1000s of hours just to get to this part of the game
@Housian nope, you start a brand new save to jump into expeditions, each mission set grants rewards that can be claimed in any past or future play through
@@Housian or you just need a random guys at the Space Anomaly to give you a $50.000.000 item at your 5th hour of playing
These guys... I don't know what to say man.. This is not just *Great* or something WOW.. we're waaaay past that stage and who knows what else is there for the future???? Massive respect to the devs and the whole team there for sticking to a game for so long and adding more and more stuff.. Greatest comeback in video game history that will be never forgotten
I bought the pre-release and got it in the mail the day before it hit the shelves. I've been playing it ever since and have always loved this team!
the greatest comeback in video game history is that of Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn. Has documentaries about it. I'm not sayin this to burst your bubble, I have mad respect for NMS's team for sticking through it all. But this is not the greatest comeback at all.
@@Hirotoro4692 Compare a small studio to Square Enix. Who has more resources, fans and brand strength?
bro they made over 100mil relax , of course they will update.
@@Hirotoro4692 de donde saliste?
We need an update focused on planets
and space stations
@@TabalugaDragon Space stations could be SO MUCH MORE. I wish parts of the interior were random at least.
@@JustinSmith1287 It's understandable they might want to make it easy to understand everything in space stations, but there's so much they can add even within those constraints it's really exciting to think what they can do next! Plus different types/styles types of space stations. They could do a full update on it easily the possibilities are endless!
@@willwunsche6940 what if you could own a space station like a colony and upgrade it? Then if players find it and trade at it (somehow) you’d get a small profit. Feel like that would be so cool!
@@Collaps_ing I absolutely love that idea! My own little space station that I could upgrade and fit out would be amazing even if it was kind of linear skill tree upgrades. I love the management sim type stuff it takes me back to other games back in the day like Pokemon White 2 and Game Dev Story. They integrate something to like that into the game I would become so addicted
This game never ends
Of course... It's literally going to "No Man's Sky" and beyond.
I think it will end but it will restart with a Sequel better then ever no man's sky 2.0 just like the story in no man's sky that would be awesome
What would also fit with the catalogue thingy is a bit more variation so that you don't discover every possible asset within a hour
Am playing through NMS on Switch for the first time and am about 90 hours in and still feel like i am near the start of the game.
I am amazed how much you can do in the game and getting lost exploring and finding new things around every corner and story progression.
I have PC and Switch but just due to my work/life schedule I vastly prefer playing handheld on my switch so I can lay in bed. I’ve heard some tough criticisms for this on Switch but I don’t want to miss it… is it worth picking up? It’s only $40 right now for physical. I’ve never played it on PC or otherwise so I don’t have anything to compare it to. Would you play it again on Switch if you had other options? Thank you!
@@SwedePotato314 dude it is great on switch it runs surprisingly well
Wooohooo!!!
The fact this game still alive and getting better and better with each update. Man i am so grateful this team is so dedicated, thanks for being loyal to your customers. Cheers!!!!!
This is what live service games should strive to be
Yeah, Bungie could learn a thing or two from Hello games
AMAZING!!
I can not wait to see what you guys do next. This update looks like a royal blast.
I'm personally PRAYING for a "shipyards" where we scrap ships for parts and use them to build/paint our own from scratch/edit the ships we already have. The randomizer method of ship spawning was fun but I think it's time now.
Also a planet update with a revamp on fauna/flora would he amazing.
Very happy about the constant flow of enhancements, visual improvements and QOL changes!
Had the game from day one release, and I still get hyped . Hopefully my vr comes in today, and don't have any issues . Hello games thanks for sticking with it, and giving us all these updates, and dlcs for free 👍
Same
Day one player here too! We was in the trenches for real
I’m sitting at home checking every five minutes if it’s left the UPS store yet 😩
@@Dudeman162 Lmao, that's the truth.
@@chrisdiggs finally just got mine 5min ago. About to get lost in the vr world
It is here.
Genuinely one of the best games ever made. In my opinion it’s right up there with Minecraft. Love everyone over at Hello Games, y’all keep doing amazing things!
It's so amazing what new stuff you add to the game with every update
Thank you so much for everything you do on this game. Especially the VR update... It sets the bar for what can and should be done.
I remember pleading to Hello Games to bring NMS to the PSVR back in 2016. I just can't believe my dream came true above and beyond. Thank you Hello Games! :)
THANK YOU, Sean and team!
Still play this game everyday. HG, you guys are awesome.
I love your constant updates even years after. Thank you so much and keep 'em coming :D
This right here is the developer with a heart of gold.
I'm still holding my breath for the update that further spices up the procedural generation. I crave more variation, so that each planet does not feel like a copy of another with different placements.
That's the greatest 180 a video game has ever done! Kudos to the team!
I'd love to see more alien varieties & quests based for the different races in the future, keep up the great work guys! :)
I haven't played this game since it's release. Now, years later, I tried it again and it is one of the best games I've played.
You guys are a shining example of how a game company cares about community and your game wish other companies were more like you ❤❤❤
>a game company cares about community
>10 fps in the trailer
okay. how much money do you get for this comment?
The fact that you guys continue to develop and improve this labor of love and keep it fresh is just so rare in games
Never gets old.💚
I don't have VR but I think this is dope AF for those who do
I'm just continously impressed by this team, looking forward to check out all the updates I missed once I get back to it!
I love how you guys keep your game updated, active, and listen to feedback from the fans. I wish all developers were like you all
You've done it again simply brilliant
I bought No Man's Sky on day one, because day one was the initial release of this game in Australia, which fell on my birthday many years ago...and I thought, 'let's support these guys and gals, and it would be a nice birthday present'...fast fowarding many years later, this birthday present hasn't stopped giving...and doesn't look like it's ever gonna stop giving...thank you Hello Games, while the whole gaming industry goes one way, with live services, mtx, loot boxes, etc...you are travelling down the road less travelled and taking us along with you...you weren't kidding with your vision for NMS were you...? Awesome stuff...
"More will follow" Amazing as always!
"New experiences and new gameplay for all travellers?" What does that even mean? Cool for VR players, i don't see much besides an expedition for the rest of us though.
this is just the update for PSVR2 basically, not much other than that.
Robotic companion? Hell yes. It can accompany me when I'm in the minotaur!
Been playing since 2016, they always bring me back.
Wow. A whole trailer in VR. Wasn't expecting that. Thanks.
Superb! Thank you for the update. I love the expeditions to discover new content.
Dude sometimes nothing beats this in VR, warping to an unknown star, finding out its a gorgeous solar system, and you slow down to a stop and look around at the planets as your ship silently hums... In VR, there's nothing like it. Then picking a planet, a zooming down to it's surface? Mind blowing.
I love how even the developers used the Golden Vector... I don't see many people using it right now.
41 dislike is like " Do you guys remember back in 1948 when they lied to us" And in fact, Hello Games are an example for all developers, for so many years they continue to surprise us with free things.
Excited!
As someone who bought this game for PS4 at launch, and is receiving my PS VR2 today, it’s amazing to see how far this game has come. Thank you for your hard work, today my dreams to fly a starship come true.
It feels like we have really come full circle. It's amazing
You guys are too good to us! It's been a couple years since I've played, but every update makes me want to get back in. The more I wait the more dope new stuff I'll get to experience though :p
Thanks again for your hard work! But for a future update that would be nice to be able to customize our starship, choosing the wings, engines ect. Maybe through a scrap system, like buying a ship > taking it apart to use parts for later and combining them into another one
@hellogamestube I am so blown away with all of the improvements. The last time I played this game was in 2016 shortly after release. I knew it had potential and it was something special. I always had hope and I never asked for the refund like everyone else was. I just started playing again last week and I cannot get enough I am so invested in the planets I have discovered and I am so excited for what I have yet to discover. There is so much more depth to this game than most triple A titles. I definitely plan on gifting this game to my friends so they can enjoy it as well. Thank you so much for delivering on your promises and even going the extra mile. The only thing I’d love to see in the game is more diverse space dogfighting and PVP, more enemies to fight other than sentinels and more community places like the anomaly. Maybe there could be a PVP arena or something that’d be fun. But that’s just my opinion since I am a hardcore PvP gamer. Nonetheless awesome job❤
thank you for more vr !!
Every single update You drop validates that this was My Best Game purchase ever. Keep it Up!
Nice. So basically for non-VR peeps its an Expedition but with a little extra. Not bad. And more to come!
I've no idea what was changed for vr tho.. it's all the same haha
@@antares3030look at the beginning, thats what it looked like before. Then it shows what it looks like after
They gotta' do VR stuff on it's own because they are such a small company. But us flat-viewers will get more soon!

"MORE WILL FOLLOW!"
This is why we love you, trailer voice lady.
this game has genuinely come so far im so happy
was just thinking about how long it's been since we got a new update yesterday, and alas, this is what I wake up to. always thankful for the dedication that the devs show to this game. proud to say I already finished the expedition in about four hours and am enjoying the new ship, always gives me a childlike joy lol
Man! Talk about a comeback! You guys are heroes and we love your game! Keep it up guys :D
This is one of the best games I have ever played. I love how this game gets regular updates as well.
I’m still waiting for the update that fully revamp the water effects on this game.
cant wait to check this out in VR , so impressed with way devs continue to update this game :)
YES!
Thanks for the content!
Thank you for the hard work. It is a great game can’t wait to play on VR
Incredible how this games still going. I bought back when it came out in 2016. Sold my copy but I wanted to play it on my new psvr2.. so I bought again. Never bought the same game twice
NMS is just love, thanks for the more free content and thanks that now the Switch version is getting more like the other versions. Thanks HG
oh my god finally!! you guys are awesome!!
waking up with a no man's sky update announcement, made my day
It is actually unbelievable that juggernauts like Bungie and Bethesda have broken so many promises for future content and features and this small studio that got yelled at so badly back then just keeps pumping out updates one after the other. It is embarrassing for the rest of the industry. This is how you build trust with your audience.
Never change, HelloGames! You're awesome! :D
It's the difference between Snowflakes and based. A Based Developer shrugs off the over-reactive action of internet opinions and filters down to the truth of the matter. People care.
A Snowflake. Such is the case with the Everspace Developers and I'd argue even the Pavlov developer. Get butthurt and despise or straight up silence their customer base over it.
For context. Pavlov developer went digging 3 years into the past to find an excuse to permanently ban me from his steam forum, because for 7 years I've been fighting to get a D-Pad put back on motion controllers so that VR games can offer more options than Gimmick reload simulators.
People shouldn't support developers like that. And you're all going to find out that outside of that reload that game relied on Plagarizing everything around as justification to exist.
This is also another game that would have benefitied from allowing people to pick up a regular gamepad to play it in VR. Beceause 4 hour charges on motion controls isn't enough.
But hey, at least VR is teaching your kids how to reload more effectively for when they decide to shoot up their schools. I guess the silver lining is that they only get to practice for 4 hours at a time.
I just bought No Man's Sky. This is seriously the game I've always wanted. I've been a huge Star Trek fan for years and love the idea of being able to go anywhere in the galaxy! I'm not much of a 3d gamer, but this is just awesome! Now let me DRIVE my freighter!.
Think you'd prefer star citizen
Good work! Thank you!
Can't wait to try it on the PSVR2!
The new vr is jaw dropping, wow what you did to caves is awesome. I live in nms vr, pushing 2k hrs so this is better than 10 Christmases.
Nice! I'm really excited to play this on my PSVR2 once I get my VR legs.
I remember this game on PS4. I was one of the very few that ever encountered another player. Shot him down. Thought he was a pirate. That was in 2016. 7 years later, the game finally looks playable.
What the heck guys!? You're still updating this game? Massive respect! Keep doing amazing work!
Like too much respect. I hope they're making enough money, because they've done more than enough at this point.
O M G I can't wait! Just like the never ending Universe you have created so to is your love for the game and the community. Thank you!
Thank you!!!!!
Oh man, you guys are at it again! I gotta hop back on and see what's been brewing. I have to say, when this game came out I was excited, then extremely disappointed, but you guys came through and continue to do so and stand behind your now masterpiece. Bravo!
Ok, VR centric update, but I think there's some cool stuff there for everyone. Thanks again HG team!
amazing work! will test it later :)
Damn, ty for the VR love! Great work!
Seeing update, after update, after update, really make me wonder if one day, No Man's Sky will become the #1 game that everybody play and has everything. It's already is beyond amazing but i am saying, if it never stop being updated and there is always new gameplay feature (in the large sense of the term) there is basicly no limit to it! No Limit's Sky XD
Imagine if No Man's Sky become the next and forever best futuristic "VRchat" experience or maybe surpasse "EVE" in what it is good at, or the next and better "Star Wars" (the war aspect of it), or even become a full MMORPG (ok maybe not that one... that is asking to much).
Imagine a world where EVERYTHING IS POSSIBLE, that is what i came to dream of when i think of No Man's Sky. And to be honest, that hype is well earn! (No pressure though, take your time, slow and steady)
What you are doing is so precious. Prioriting quality over quantity, and essencially making a game for it to be super fun and the best it can be, is what all gaming company should be doing. You know, now a days it's more about maximize making money from game than making the best game. That is why, i would love to work for a company like yours once i graduate from college!
Love you all, stay safe and have fun!
Just made my day, thank you!
The gift that keeps on giving!
Love it, everything about it. You guy absolutely killed it, as usual 👌🏾🐐🔥🔥🔥
Thank you for everything that you all do.
Hope you all are doing well, both explorers and the hello team ....more will follow
😍 Awesome, more will follow.
The gift thats keep on giving ❤️
Oh man. You guys are always making me come back and play another round. :)
No Mans Sky vr just looks soo good
Respect! Love you guys for being amazing
Omg this is so great. I can't wait to play it. I wish I could have my own zoo for the stuff and species i discovered. Also i want to have more settlements upgrades. More population and interaction with them, mosre buildings and production opportunities.
I can't wait to boot this up on PSVR2 tonight! Looks amazing.
This game has the best story in gaming history.
I hope you don't mean the actual game story and instead the development story?
Somehow, even after all you've added to the game already, you continue to come up with fantastic new ideas to add even though no one had even been asking for them. You know what the players need more than they do lol.
Gyro controls were just what we needed for Switch!
Ooo I forgot about gyro that's sick! I might start playing on controller even when I am PC since gyro controls are just so chill and nice
The gift that just keeps on giving! We need a new game awards category "Most re-installed game". A battle between NMS, Skyrim, Minecraft and GTA V.
Those speeders look amazing
I play everything n this is one of my new favorites jus in need of friends online to make it better
Appreciate the VR love!
Truly amazing giving out updates other companies would label as dlc
