    In this exercise video Meredith is guiding you through a full body compound exercise using only a single dumbbell for added resistance.
    Resistance exercises are great for building muscle and stability which helps with everyday activities like carrying groceries, getting in and out of a chair and also walking up and down stairs. Having the ability to safely navigate these types of activities during your day is crucial to living long and well into your later years.
    This is an intermediate level routine so make sure you preview this video before attempting it in full. Remember to only do movements that you are comfortable with and that don't cause any pain or discomfort. Keep your water close by and take breaks when you need to.

    I found this pretty challenging. My formerly injured shoulder(s) always squawk with weights...but I know enough to use lighter weight or body resistance and try not to feel 'bad' - modifications aren't cheating I hope!

    Greetings from Freehold, NJ! I had a cold this week so I didn't do much beyond my walks around the neighborhood, but I'm better now so I thought I'd give this one a try. Pretty challenging, especially for my left side. I'll keep at it! Thanks for a great workout.
