I am so in love with these spreads! And I love the way you included little snippits of your life throughout the video. I've been wanting to start a reading journal for ages, right now I just have it typed out because it makes me nervous to make a page that I won't like but your videos have definitely given me ideas and I'm very excited about i!
I loved the longer video. I made popcorn, sat back and enjoyed. It was nice getting a glimpse of your face. And I laughed so much at the “cowardly lion” comment. Loved the huge skeleton & dog. Also your precious doggie. Seeing a bit of your personality is a bonus to hearing your amazing book descriptions and creative page spreads. Thanks.
I just wanted to say I find your videos very relaxing, I love the way you talk about your reads. I remember the challenge of having assigned readings and I don't miss it 😅
im so scared to read Beartown because Backman's other novel, Anxious People, had me equal parts sobbing and laughing until my stomach hurt when i read it earlier this year. i definitely recommend it if you liked one of his other books. i read it in January and i'm STILL thinking about it. it was so good that the second i finished the ebook i went online and bought a physical copy because i just needed it near me
Oh wow! Beartown is my second book by Backman and both have been devastating but brilliantly written. I haven’t gotten around to Anxious People, but if it’s anything like you’re saying I’m sure I’ll enjoy it. It’s good to know it’s a book that stays with you
@@guessimbeth it's for sure one of those like, "full experience of the human condition" books. very character heavy and you really get to hear everyone's stories and the overall theme is mainly just "we're all doing the best we can". absolutely 5 stars for me
Too cute showing how you had some fun times this month!! I want to pet your puppers!! Reading The Spellshop (bookclub pick - cozy read) and The Book of Azrael (bookclub other choice - dark and action) and listening to Exhalation on audio - I've found I do better with listening to short stories than reading them for some reason. And I normally don't balance 3 books, but they're all very different so it's working right now. .
Great video. Beautiful spreads again. 😊 I finish some graphic novels recently Pixels of you by Ananth Yuko and Blue is the warmest color by Jul Maroh. I also Read Piranesi by Susanna Clarke and I really enjoyed it. 😊
Absolutely adore your Halloweeny interludes. They made the video so homey.🧡
And the spreads are gorgeous, as always.
Thank you so much 😊😊

Thank you so much! I definitely understand the desire for perfection. There’s many pages that I don’t like, but it’s part of the process😊

😊😊 thanks for sharing! I’ve heard good things about The Spellshop! I’m not usually a multi-book reader either, but sometimes it just happens 😅😅
