We are truly being fed this year! Dua’s illusion is a good song, tho the least favorite of the singles released. Houdini is still my favorite. This one is not really “hooky” in my opinion and takes a while to get into. Chloe, while I like her solo work more than others do, I do think I understand the arguments that she needs to truly find her sound. I think this is it. This sound REALLY works well for her voice. Pop girl Chloe let’s goooo Tinashe slayed. I know I don’t have much else to say in comparison to the other two but she did lol

If you like Tinashe's newest song, try to hear her leaked track "Buzzin" - then "Nasty" - and "Throw a Fit" after. They're a whole mood, thank me later! I personally didn't enjoy "Nasty" that much..but then again, Tinashe has been putting out so much content lately that I'm not complaining! I do think it's a catchy tune, and, paired with the Coachella performance, I hope it gives the general public a chance to (re) discouver Tinashe because she deserves the sun and the moon!

The "Illusion" music video is a nod to Kylie Minogue's "Slow" video (she's been vocal about her love of Kylie), another example of Dua's impeccable taste. She's got a great eye and a great ear. We're getting another batch of slick prestige pop and I'm here. for. it. Tinashe once again proves she can't miss !!
Great video as usual! "Future Nostalgia" is everything you could hope for a good pop album era. And as for Dua Lipa's next era... I think people need to stop with the "flop" accusations. All of the singles have been doing consistently well; even Dua herself has noted that a lot of her songs end up becoming sleeper hits and she says she prefers that over having songs quickly blow up and then disappear quickly. I can see why some don't like them compared to "Future Nostalgia" but I enjoy them as of now; however, I can't wait to hear how they will come together when the album drops. I can't also wait for more promotional performances and music reviews. And even if she doesn't conquer the US again, she still does very well in other markets such as Europe, Asia and Latin America. All this to say is... people need to chill and let the era keep unraveling.
