Well, maud died about 20 yers before Haakon so she did not keep living in Norway after the king’s death she died in england and their son was two years when they came to norway so he wasn’t born here but in appleton house.
Maud didn't overlive her houseband, King Haakon. He died in 1957. Norway didn't fight in the first world war. As a new, independent country, Norway was neutral. Please do the things right !!!

I’ve watched so many videos in this style from different channels. It seems rehearsing the script isn’t the done thing - none of them can pronounce words correctly, and they all sound like they’re reading the phone book.
King George's V(so did his son's Edward VIII)resemblance to Zar Nikolai II was great. That's so tragic, that he didn't help the Romanow family, but he was a heartless person , all those poor, precious animals. The Romanow were yet just another victims of his insensitivity
There are rumours he visited brothels (he was treated for gonorrhoea, probably caught from a prostitute) but he died from influenza which turned into pneumonia during a "Russian flu" pandemic that had started in 1889. There is no evidence he had syphilis though.
Supposedly he was a customer of male brothels, not sure about heterosexual brothels, but his cause of death was listed as influenza inspired pneumonia.

The Duchess of Duke Street was a TV series loosely based on the life of Rosa Lewis the "Duchess of Jermyn Street" who is believed to have had a brief affair with Edward
She was engaged to Prince Albert and then married his brother George after his death.
Princess Mary of Teck was never married to prince Albert Victor
I think a bit more research is needed. A lot of your videos are have incorrect information.
Mary of Teck was never previously married to anyone.
No she was engaged to Prince Albert Victor but never married him
@@pedanticradiator1491in the video the narrator states that they were engaged, but also (incorrectly) states they were married.
HMS Queen Mary, the passenger liner, was named after Queen Mary of Teck.
@@abrahammorrison6374 the Queen Mary was an RMS (Royal Mail Ship) not an HMS. An HMS is a ship belonging to the Royal Navy
@@pedanticradiator1491 The Queen Mary was used as a troop transport during WWII.
Queen Alexandra's genes made this family a LOT better looking. I'll just leave it at that.
😭 😭 😭
I agree
Agree. Her sister"did the same thing"to Fedorov/Romanov:))
8:54 "PosthumoROusly"??!! That's funny!! 🤣
I much prefer the original paintings and photographs, as opposed to so much AI imagery
Thank you for your feedback x
Many channels are doing that. Grrrrr. 😠
Same. The ai photos, especially the videos, feel too fake to me 🥴
Nice photos, u have a great deal of facts so very wrong.
There are more than one errors in this show. A bit more detailed research would help.
Excellent video . I am a student of European History really enjoying this series.😃👍👍♥️
very interesting but it is tedious to hear the same story over and over again
None of these siblings had anything like a "crazy" life.

yea i don't think this channel bothers about the details so much.
And there's nothing about HOW they became King & Queen of Norway and the role that Maud, as daughter of KEVII played in that decision.
I wish she would work on pronunciation and timing while reading. The facts aren’t all facts either.
Well, none of them lived "crazy lives" so that should tell you something...
Yes, this woman has an unfortunately nasal and rather high pitched voice. One hopes for a more pleasant pitch and also for fewer errors.
Really enjoyed this. Thanks for making as always.
Some of the pronunciation in this video is comically bad
Question Was Princess Alix's deafness a result of hereditary/congenital syphilis? Common in the 18th and 19th centuries.
No. It was the condition otosclerosis, inherited from Alexandra's mother Louise.
Her limp was caused by syphilis given to her by her husband who couldn't keep it in his pants. And you people admire this evil man? sick
@annhewett9622 so why is being sexually promiscuous evil - I agree it can be unhealthy and perhaps not necessarily a good thing but evil?
@@pedanticradiator1491Yes, it is evil.

What animals are we talking about?
The picture of Princess Louise with the baby is kinda scary. The baby’s face is all white
I know! Where’s it’s eyeballs? That photo will haunt my nightmares 😂
Princess Louise looks a lot like her mother, Queen Alexandra.
