In my opinion buying land in an undeveloped area in anticipation of future development is a very smart move...well done Janice...I can't wait to see how you develop this land 🙂
I completely agree! It’s a beautiful town as well... I knew the moment I stepped foot on the land that it was going to be home. I love your channel btw 😊
That’s definitely massive land. Woow! Know a family that recently discovered their land has gold deposits. Millionaires overnight. You’re making moves 🙌🏿🙌🏿🙌🏿
Please God let that be my destiny loll.
@@janicejennifer9861 Lol it's possible because Africa is a land of milk and honey.
I truly hope that’s my faith loll
Just found your channel I’m a Ghanaian born in the Uk eventually hoping to relocate
Welcome my sister and good luck to you 😊
same to start my business
What kind of business are you venturing into?
Very nice my sister, you are doing it the right way! Stay encouraged.
Thank you for the encouragement 🙏🏿
This is awesome ! Congratulations my sister
Hi Zulu! Thank you!
Congratulations. It looks gorgeous 🏞️
Slowly but surely I will build my dream home
Beautiful landscape smart choice sister, coz kumasi is more peaceful than Accra about acquiring land, please next time snickers will be easy and safe to walk in the Bush
I know it wasn’t planned it was a random day that turned into an opportunity. 😂
*AWESOME VIDEO, SIS!!!* I'm an African-American man planning to relocate to Ghana in the future. This video is extremely helpful for me. However, can you make video outlining the *exact steps* you made to identify and lawfully purchase this Ghanaian land? It would be very informative for the rest of us African Diasporans looking to return home. Thanks!
Yes brother I will definitely do that. Thank you
Lands are free for Afro Americans returning to Ghana.
It’s in our constitution. So ask the right people for this info.
@@nanaboat2478 - Thank you.
Wonderful. You are doing great.
🙏🏿😊
@@janicejennifer9861 Love your channel. Subscribed.
@@SimplyNatural2 awww thank you loll. Slowly but surely I’m getting out of Amerikkka. That’s FACTS!
Congratulations that is a beautiful land.
Thank you 🙏🏿
Welcome home sister.
Thank You love 🙏🏿
Love this.
Keep the good work
Make sure the land you are buying has not been sold to others. Check with the land commission in Kumasi. When you know for sure that it's legit and the land is yours, first thing you should do wall your land so that there is no encroachment by others. Good luck.
Can your cousin assist with land commission documentation in Accra please? Thank you.
Yes! She can, email me so I can connect you with her 😊

Hello my name is Victoria planning on moving to African sometime this year
Hi Victoria, great move. Which part of Africa?
Congrats on your purchase. How do you know that you have clear title and ownership of that particular plot of land.?
Hi Edgar, I purchased the land directly from the king and I took the paper work to the lands commission. My cousin works with the lands commission as well.
@@janicejennifer9861 Do they have any survey plans for the plots so in the future no one can encroach on your land.
Yes! I checked with the lands commission, it’s all mine. When you buy land in Ghana you shouldn’t let it sit too long or the king can resell it. If you’re not ready to build you can build a wall around the land to secure it till you’re ready to build.
@@janicejennifer9861 Makes sense building a wall. Good luck to you on your build . Remain blessed.
@@janicejennifer9861 Okay, you had someone on the inside negotiating for you. $4,000.00 for a plot of land ,that appears to be that fertile is tantamount to a no brainer. However, other You Tubers have warned people to be very cautious buying land in Ghana... I'll watch how you and your family progress...peace
All Farm land are gone... sad
There’s plenty more but we need to be very careful... it’s almost gone in the greater Accra areas.
An Afro American asked you about land acquisition in Ghana on your platform.
I heard you speak Twi, so l gathered you are a Ghanaian.
Ok. Thank You 😊
Try to establish business for the area people
A friend of mine had a misunderstanding with other friend and that brought fight between them, so when we came to work in the morning the security tell us the event, and how his face was redesigned, but one funny thing to me was how he called me John, but the fight was just two minutes and he was wounded 🤕 but I can't laugh too.. Later I say to myself, if it was up to five minutes what would have happen to my dear. Lol 😄😄😄😄😄😄😄
🤔?
Wow trede is where my grandmother is from. How much is a plot?
Tredde is a beautiful Town. The king is young and seems to be taking good care of the town. It’s clean and the people are very warm. I think you should visit since you’re from there, you may even get a hefty discount because you have relatives their. There’s really no one price but generally speaking a plot of land depending on the location, if it’s a new site, it may be within the range of $4,000 per plot more or less.
@@janicejennifer9861 oh ok. Thank you sis
Do they have some of the lands available? Which part of Kumasi it is?
I believe they do. It’s in the town of Tredde. It’s a new site but it’s starting to develop very quickly.
@@janicejennifer9861 okay. Looking for sth in Kumasi.
I’m not really familiar with all of Kumasi. Where is STH ?
@@janicejennifer9861 Sth-something. Which town is closest to Tredde?
I’m not sure but I know there’s a town or two after Bebu before you get to Tredde. I will inquired and get back to you
Toi tu concrétises tes rêves, contrairement à d'autres personnes
Huh 🤔
@@janicejennifer9861 I say, you make your dreams come true unlike other people
Oh thank you ☺️loll. It’s pretty scary but I figure what do I have to loose but a crazy dying, racist country like America. It’s a no brainer. 🙏🏿
The land is very fertile.
It really is... it had all sorts of vegetables on it 😋
Ghana has really fertile lands.Especially the Ashanti region and western region. Anything grows there
You a jeans and sneakers 👟😄✌️
😂😂 I played myself with that dress on smh😂😂
Hey- so were is this land located?
Hi! It’s in Kumasi. I’m looking in Accra as well but I think I prefer Kumasi 😊
So how can we get in touch with you
Kumasi which part?
It’s in Tredde
@@janicejennifer9861 OK , I AM ALSO FROM OBUASI BUT LIVING IN UK, I HEARD YOU MENTION PAKYI
That is called ur own..
Exactly!!! 💪🏿
VERY NICE
🙏🏿
Hi dear, if you are an Afro American, lands are free in Ghana.
You need not buy them. This is entrenched in our constitution to enable people to come back home.
Please check this before you make anymore purchases.
I heard about that but it does not apply for me. I’m Ghanian. My Mom and dad are Ghanian 😊
How can we find out more information about African Americans buying land in Ghana. I want to to purchase a plot of land. Can you please email me? akobenagreenlee@gmail.com
@@akobenagreenlee Advicable to visit the country just for some few weeks. You will meet a lot of African Americans who have resettled. Better still make friends with the people more. You will get more information. The best option is buy the land and start something and not just buy the land and leave it idle
How much does per plot cost?
Like every where in the world it’s all about location. I lucked out because my brother knows the king. The town I purchased the land is in process of building a huge government hospital which will bring a lot of traffic. This will help develop the location very very quickly. It will also be great for a business investment. Generally speaking an undeveloped land in Kumasi can run you about $4000 per plot. depending on the location it can be more or less. These prices go up annually so if your thinking of buying, I would say buy now and build later.
Congratulations Janice. Any chance I could get your contact please. Interested in the land
Yes! you can email me it’s in the description

Is this what we call development? no mercy for the environment, digging around, building homes with no proper roads leading to it contributing to heavy erosion of the land.
Ghanaians never cease to amaze me. Too selfish to have a develop country
We have a lot of work to do in Ghana no doubt, but remember America wasn’t built in one day even with free labor. Thank you for your comment
@@janicejennifer9861 BUT WE NEED TO SPEED UP, WE ARE TOO LAID BACK, ESPECIALLY OUR LEADERS
Yes our “ leaders” are a huge part of the issue. I think we in the diaspora both Africans and American blacks need to come back to the continent and help to build it up. So many Ghanians want to leave the country for “ greener pastures” if we all leave how can we complain about the development of Ghana? It’s up to all of us to make it better. We have to see the value of our country because others are investing heavily in Africa because they see the value
@@janicejennifer9861 thanks for taking the leap. My brother left this morning from Canada and should be there early morning tomorrow. One small piece of correction, the diaspora is not just black Americans 🙂 but Indo understand that's who we mostly see. There are more diaspora in Ghana who are not from mainland America.
I got some land in Central region earlier this year. Goodluck on your journeys and relocation. I have another 2 years.
Blessings
