Blackouts. The 81 reminds me of that v30 mid honk. Blackouts are just not as loud. Only noticeable on video.
The X’s are TOO loud
Хорошее сравнение, на клине Имг тихий, Блекаут очень громкий, на дисторшоне Имг четкий более универсальный, блекаут очень злой бубнящий.
Emgx 81 for me
81x ftw
Would be nice if u volume matched. So far most, if not all your pickup comparisons have significant volume difference between products. Makes it difficult to compare.
Otherwise great videos! Not sure why they don’t have many more views? There’s so many shit videos that have tens of thousands of views.
Another request would be playing simple power chords in whole notes as part of the demo. That really highlights some aspects that u don’t really hear when more technical riffs r played.
Nick Anthony you’ll be surprised just how loud and powerful the Blackouts are. Had this exact thing happen to me, I got a Schecter Blackjack that came with SD Blackouts, then I swapped the bridge for an 81X and it sounded VERY weak volume-wise.
@@jaxonvictoria4345 so would you recommend the blackouts over the 81x? or did you end liking the 81x more?
Duncan is way to compressed and loses volume as well, emg is crystal clear
Emgs have never sounded good to me and havent started yet i see.
81X wins. blackout are muddy
Man I own the 6 and 7 string version of Blackouts and there is nothing muddy about them. Maybe it's the Amp model?
What's Up with that Riff? Lol
81x in a clean signal to me sound country .lol metal tone and dirty signal the 81x shines. in a test between 81 and 81x you had, now i would take the seymour over emgs. i bought geezer butler emgs for my geezer bass build and they failed. will not ever buy a emg pick up again. called emg got a list of cry baby people wanting my money back from a bran new pick up
I don't think these pick ups are good for strats
spyder contreras a strat is a solid body dumbass
spyder contreras solid body means the body is a solid piece (or pieces) of wood, unlike an acoustic guitar or an archtop hollowbody guitar which have hollow compartments. This has nothing to do with where and how the pickups are mounted.
What a moronic comment. 1, Strats are solid bodies and 2 basically any guitar shaped like a Strat like an Ibanez RG, Jackson Dinky etc is basically a form of a Strat and all these guitars work great with EMGs
you can put any pickup anywhere, don't believe all the crap you read on internet forums
@@spydercontreras3736 and you should learn to spell. Its " they're * considered " and "learn your *" . You just proved how much of a moron you are. Even if strats are hollow bodies.. emg pickups would work well in strats .. the guitarist of Pink Floyd had emgs in his strat and so many other countless musicians you idiot
