He's like a big kid when it comes to the weather. When it comes to covering the weather, the outdoors are his playground. Love his enthusiasm, dedication, and spirit. Have grown up watching him on The Weather Channel and he's my biggest inspiration for my passion and love for the weather :)
I remember watching the thunder, Snow episode live. It was incredible, and he was absolutely fired up.!!!
We have 23 year old twins with Asperger, and they obsess over the weather, weather channel and Jim Cantore. His is a common name at home when something is going on and they are glued to the TV Weather Channel...thank you Jim and congrats on 30 years!!!

Congratulations on the big 30 Jim Cantore. Nobody deserves the celebration more than you other than Vivian Brown who I miss on the weather channel. Nonetheless, you are one of my favorite meterologist especially when it comes to snow. My other favorites are AL Roker, Mr. G, David S (RIP), Marshall Seese, and Nick Walker. Honorable mention Mike Siedle and Paul Good. God Bless.
