They should offer at least 7-8 per acre and only then they'll give up their land, but that will simply shoot the land acquisition cost like anything.

PRR is one of the bad example to showcase in universities demonstrating how worst one could plan on the development of city with many loopholes that includes political influences, political motivation, farmers agitation, biggest failure on rehabilitation plan for potential land losers, unethical rules and policies, frustrating delays, pathetic outbound communication, lot of unknowns.
I wish this project was picked by National Highways. This project is really not meant for BDA that is fully under local political pressure. They should simply focus on ongoing road developments that includes STRR, Metro, better road maintenance within/outskirts of city. PRR is destructive in all ways to common people.

One thing is for sure and people will flag me but farmers are the real reason why infrastructure development is taking a slow pace.
Well some say it effects them. Well what you want to say to those office and factory workers who are contributing to the economy. As long as these farmers will stick to these ridiculous demands, nothing will go forward.

It is not going to any light. The cost has increased exorbitantantly it os not feasible also.
Govt should go for satellite cities atleat 50 or 60 km away from Bangalore outer city limit so that the congestion can be reduced. They can also plan for suburban trains connecting to metro train stations so that the cost can be minimum it will also help to develop the state uniformly
